Craddock Roofing

Tom Craddock and his crew recently replaced our roof. Tom clearly explained our options and helped us make appropriate choices. I had several quotes and while his quote was not the least, it was reasonable for what we got done. His crew came on time and his supervisor Jesse personally inspected the work several times. Tom too came by to inspect it himself when the job was finished. He and his crew seem dedicated to providing quality roofing and I am glad to have hired them for the job.

Tom has installed 3 roofs for me in the past and two others for family members. That is 5 roofs over 20 years. He used to be super responsive and take ownership but has apparently changed the way he does business. He had a defective roof jack on two of my homes that caused damage inside both homes. One he fixed, the other he wouldn't even go out to look at or return my phone call.

On one house, it has been shedding roof material since about year 2, he said it was normal at that time - never had this before on any other roof though. Recently he came back out and said it may or may not be a warranty issue. About as vague as you can get. I followed up calling the office and they said I would have to handle it myself with the roof manuf. Said they don't do that for their customers - this was Bea in his office, not him. Too many great companies out there that are super responsive so suffice it to say, Tom, will never install a roof for me nor for any family or friends.

The roof crew at Craddock was great and did a fantastic job replacing roofs on two houses for us. Our roof is very high and very steep and the guys got up there with their equipment and made it look easy, the way only pros can do. Without charging extra, they made a repair I didn't know i needed. They worked diligently from sun up to sun down and I recommend them highly. Thanks Craddock!

I liked that we were able to change and upgrade as needed (pricing was very transparent). They are now my goto roofer. I also chose them b/c they manually nailed shingles and not with the airgun.

Tom Craddock is one of the most professional contractors I have ever worked with. He and his team did a excellent job replacing my roof. Since them I have called him twice with followup questions, neither of which were related to the quality of the installation. In each case Tom responded almost immediately and addressed my questions. A quality installation is obviously important, but having a roofing contractor who remains responsive after the initial install provides peace of mind that is difficult to overvalue.

My husband and I put alot of time towards the process of getting quotes and researching quality roofers, making sure we were getting the best deal for quality work and good customer service. As soon as we talked to Parker, we knew we'd go with Craddock Roofing. Parker was extremely professional and patiently answered all our questions (it was our first time to get a roof replacement).

He explained every detail in the quote, so we felt comfortable with understanding exactly what we would be paying for. We ended up getting the CertainTeed Landmark PRO and were so happy with how everything turned out. Within a couple weeks, the workers came out and completed the roof in 2 days. Tom (the owner) came by to do a thorough inspection of the work and it seemed as if he really cared about the quality of our roofwork, checking that we were happy with everything.

Would definitely recommend this company to all family and friends. It's a family-owned company and it definitely shows in how much they cared about keeping us informed every step of the way and the quality of their work.

We had an excellent experience with Craddock roofing. Thorough upfront information and helpful reference roof list and sample boards to assist choice of shingles. We received a very clear quote from Tom with options transparent. Tom was flexible when we wanted to make a change to the original order. Our roof was replaced before Hurricane Harvey and was fully water tight throughout showing the quality work. His team on site were professional and careful around the property and his foreman came to inspect the work before billing. Highly recommend.

Craddock Roofing replaced my roof during the summer of 2016 following hail damage. I am very satisfied with the timeliness of their inspection following my initial call, their work with/thru my insurance company, guidance in selection of my replacement roofing materials and finally its installation and post job clean-up. I would both use their services again (but I have my fingers crossed that this won't be necessary anytime soon) as well as recommend them to others.

I communicated with 3-4 different contractors at the time and instantly dropped the rest after talking with Craddock Roofing. They were very knowledgeable with the work and also was very willing to work with the budget. Knowing that they have been in business for a long time also gave me a peace of mind that I can call them years down the road for warranty repairs. I first used Tom Craddock for roofing in the early 90s. He was very good then, and I've used him just last year, for that reason. Craddock Roofing does top work with quality materials at a competitive price. The cleanup is as good as the installation. I've never seen a nail or any other construction material left on my property after Tom says the job was complete.

Had an absolutely perfect experience with Craddock Roofing. It began with my first meeting with Parker, who explained all the various materials options that were available, and gave an unbiased cost-benefit analysis of each of them. Prior to the actual project beginning, I met with Parker and Jesse so that they would be aware of my special needs and concerns.

From the beginning all the way to the end, Jesse was the definition of the perfect supervisor. Always polite, always helpful, always attentive. Each day began with protections being built to protect my slate courtyard, and to protect the delicate camera-phone system in my gate. Each and every night, all these protections were removed, and the area totally "manicured" to factory-new cleanliness.

The next morning, all the protections were reinstalled. I asked for, and received, MULTIPLE photos of the work as it progressed. An almost unheard of special feature of Craddock is that they HAND NAIL each and every shingle. All the other roofers I talked to use pneumatic nailers, which don't even come close to the perfection of hand nailing. Takes much more time, but the result is orders of magnitude better. I'm a cranky, nit-picky customer, and difficult to please, but Craddock did it. To Parker and Jesse (must again mention how spectacular Jesse was), THANKS FOR A PERFECT JOB!

An outstanding roofing company for Houston. We are really pleased with the quality of the install. 6 nails per shingle, 130 mph roof. We have the best looking roof on the whole block. I'm glad I did my research, and I'm glad I went with Craddock Roofing.
