We purchased a home with a Collum Roof on it and decided to give them a go for a replacement this year. Ha! After several phone calls and messages to the front office, we never heard back for an estimate. The office staff is rude, to say the least. She informed us that it would be two weeks before we heard from them, and that our neighbors (who also called in) wouldn't hear from them for two weeks either. We never heard from them again. Business must be pretty great to ignore repeat business for an entire roofing project on two homes.

I see other bad reviews on here for this company. However when I called for a quote to seal a new a/c unit jack I had installed on our office building, Mike called me back and said for the quickest quote, send him a pic. After sending me a pic he quoted $500 to seal it in and the crew showed up the next day and completed the job. It has since rained and there are no leaks. I am happy with the service and will use again if needed

I did business with Collum Roofing a few years back for my business and even then I felt the service was a little questionable but I'm a busy man so I moved on. I contacted them 7 weeks ago and left a message with their phone attendant and have since left 5 other messages with the same individual. Now, I do not blame her because she was forwarding the messages but Mike was deciding not to return them either because it was a possible warranty repair or because he just has poor follow through.
I finally received an email address I could use to reach out in email form and I received a response back that showed a total lack of concern and Mike showed me waiting 7 weeks meant nothing to him. He never once apologized and his responses were short. I am a business owner myself and this is only the second time in my life I have gone to social media to voice my thoughts but the total disregard has pushed me to put this out there.
There are many people out there that are fueled by drama so complaining is a norm but for me it takes a whole lot for me to go to this length. I will never do business with this company again and I would recommend others to think twice before using their services.

Previous owner had work done by Collum. When a storm hit and our roof leaked, I left them voicemails and sent messages. When no-one answered I found another company who immediately sent someone out and they were helpful. A week later, Collum got in touch to say that to even start the process of getting someone out, there's a form I should have known to fill out on their site! Why didn't they tell me that? So frustrating. Be warned.

Bought some used metal roofing from these guys which they charged us double for than what new panels cost. They provided none of the needed clips/ installation products that they charged us for. When the product didn't match our current product we spoke with Melinda and she told us we could return the product for a refund. When we loaded things up to return it we got a call from Gary saying we were out of luck.
They wouldn't accept a return even for partial refund. It's just a shame they weren't honest about anything: the price, the phone call about accepting the return, and the materials provided.

We used Collum Roofing after the big hail storm in October 2010. They did a fantastic job on our roof! Not only did they replace our aged, storm damaged roof, they fixed a very poor patio expansion that a previous owner had done. One of the owner's, Mike Collum, was extremely patient while I asked him a million questions and debated different roofing products.
Our new roof remains beautiful and leak free. The patio went from an eyesore to an absolutely beautiful patio, that we still delight in to this day. Thank you Collum Roofing!

Collum Roofing are the greatest. They were quick timely trustworthy. We had a tiled roof that was showing signs of wear with multiple leaks to the inside of our home. I had three separate roof proposals and we selected Collum roofing. they put an entirely new roof on our home, they used the news products. I have the best roof and my entire neighborhood. Our New roof was installed in 2012. There have been multiple rainstorms and to this day we have had no problems whatsoever with our roof.

The estimator for Cullom made an appointment to look at my roof. I planned my day around the appointment, waited at the house, and they didn't show up or call to tell me they would be late or couldn't make it. I called their office and they told me they had the appointment on the calendar but the estimator could not make it today and I would have to re-schedule. Again, they did not call or inform me. Very unprofessional. If that is what happens on day one, I can imagine what would happen while into the job. I will not be using them.

I could write a lengthy note based on our experience with this company, but suffice it to say it has been very poor (approximately 6 leaks over 5 years on a roof they installed on a new house in Scottsdale). In addition, they have been extremely non-responsive.this includes the field supervisor all the way to the owner. I will never use them again.

We bought a home that has an existing roof warranty with Collum Roofing, I called over a week ago to request someone to come out and look at the leak in our roof. The receptionist who answered the phone told me - over the phone - that our leak wouldn't be covered under warranty. SIGHT UNSEEN. Even if this is true we still need someone to fix the leak and might have hired this company to fix the roof on our home and our rental property, but as every other yelp review for Collum has assured, no one will return our phone call. I don't understand how they are still in business.

They came to my house and provided an free estimate. After 3 months I got the bill. When I called them and asked why they are sending me the invoice, I was told that they did the work based on my verbal consent. They did not call me before or after finishing the work. The roof still leaks. I did not give any verbal consent to them. The women on the phone was very abusive. I won't suggest them to anybody.

I would like to truly provide a review but I have been trying to get an appointment for a quote for 3 weeks. Yes, an appointment to get a quote. Called them several times and they told me they are busy. But, they said I could call them back to remind them to call me if I would like. Are you FLIPPING kidding me!?!?!?! With that kind of customer service they will not be busy for very long. Not trying to be mean but there are too many options out there to receive this type of response.
