Aspen roofing was recommended to by my Boss and he now regrets telling us about them. If I could leave zero stars I would. They caused water damage to our heating unit, bedroom basement, and did not pull a permit initially which we paid for to replace the roof. We had Aspen roofing replace our roof this summer as well as replace our gutters and rain spouts.
We mostly dealt with Mike and with Ryan Brady. Ryan got involved after the fact when issued arose. They were placed in a way where our basement got flooded. We have been here for 3 years in this home and never had a water issue. The 1st year we did not even have gutters, no water damage. The 2nd year my husband installed gutters and spouts and still no issues.
When it rained this past August it destroyed one of the basement bedrooms. The spouts were placed in a way where they immediately flooded all the window wells. They did come out and extend the spouts but with our old gutters we kept in the garage. They ended up telling us they would make this right and fix our spouts. The fix was elongating the spouts ridiculously into our yard.
We also had some water damage to our gas flue which drained directly into our heating unit. They stated it was our flue that was an issue and nothing they did, but again we never had a water issue till that point. Our wonderful HVAC people made sure out heating unit was OK for winter. When we contacted Ryan Brady we also found out they did not pull a permit for the work done.
We paid for a permit to be pulled. It took some back and forth and even having Ryan ask us if we really wanted a permit pulled. Yes we want the work to be inspected. I even called the permit office to make sure that a permit has to be pulled for any work done. We finally got a permit pulled - but after that they have given us the run around on having someone come inspect the damage from their company and compensate us for the work that will need to be done to fix it.
They have decided to not reach out to us since the beginning of December, The roof and gutter replacement with a permit was $9,219.00 for about a 1,000Sq ft home with the work being done this past August 2021. Please be aware, make sure they pull a permit and do not use them for any gutters or drain spouts. Also don't pay off your bill till you know for a fact that all of those things have been done.
I would encourage anyone who has used them in the past to make sure a permit was pulled since any damage would be fun to try and get fixed on your homeowners insurance without one. We also received a lovely message from Mike regarding our issue - "The gutter was installed the best they could and there was no concern of complaints at the time. We are not responsible for the way your yard is designed or the way the window wells were installed.
If you had an issue with the way the downspouts were installed I wish you would have said something. There is no way we can convince the owner to pay for flood damage. I wish there was some that I could do but I've got nothing. "- Thank you Aspen for showing us and hopefully others how you handle a situation.

I called for an estimate to repair a cricket on our metal roof that protects the stove pipe and I was told by the receptionist that our job was too small. She mentioned being too busy with water damage repair and full roof installs. Long story short if you aren't a cash cow you aren't worth their time. Poor business model when the tide turns friend.

Stellar service form start to finish. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable with our metal roof system that was improperly installed by a shoddy contractor who left us high and not so dry. Chris and Levi showed up on time a went above and beyond with professionalism and integrity. We hope we won't need Aspen Roofing again anytime soon but if we do need a roofer, we'd call them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Aspen Roofing!

Our architects recommended Aspen Roofing to us after a terrible soffit and fascia job was started by our contractor's guy. Ryan Brady came out and knew exactly what needed to be done. (Aspen Roofing offers a one piece wide fascia that they customize to your house that does not ripple!) In fact, Ryan came to our job a few times to check on things-he is friendly, personable and the epitome of great customer service.
When original roofing guys told us no one could make our chimney caps the way they'd been designed on our plans, Ryan had his guys make them and they are beautiful-definitely a highlight of our house as you drive up our road! Their employee, Jose, was the one to do our job and his work is perfection. We have a vaulted entryway and back patio that my husband didn't want rivets showing and Jose executed this beautifully. (We get so many comments on his work on those areas!.) Jose even came on Saturday a few times to work-such s hard worker! I can't recommend Aspen Roofing enough! These guys are truly the best!

I was referred to Aspen Roofing by a workman who came out to work on our gutters. We very much needed help to repair our deck roofing, as it leaked almost immediately after it was installed years ago. The original installer never correctly fixed the problem. Our workman said simply. the guys at Aspen Roofing are the best of the best! He was absolutely CORRECT!
I called, and in just a few days I had their estimator visit, and we were so amazed, that shortly after that. they had an unexpected opening, and they sent out a GREAT guy! He was so very, very nice, he came totally prepared, showed up right at 9am every day, and cleaned up 100% every day when he left for the day! And best of all. we have had significant weather and our roof - it no longer leaks! I highly, highly recommend Aspen Roofing! Absolutely one of the BEST companies we have ever worked with.

Thank you Ryan and Aspen Roofing! These guys are always on time and budget. They have a professional look and attitude. Our roof was more then 50 squares with 12 different pitches there are only a couple of roofing companies in the city that can do a job like ours and it looks perfect! Feel free to contact me anytime as a reference we will use you again on all of our roofing needs!

Aspen Roofing is by far the absolute best roofing, soffit, fascia and rain gutter company out there by a long shot. If I could give them 20 stars I would. We have used them on 2 different homes and every time they have exceeded all of our expectations. They are honest, trustworthy, reliable, competitively priced and the quality of work is top top notch. They are truly truly amazing! They are my roofing, etc. company for life! I HIGHLY recommend them! I assure you, you will not be disappointed.

Aspen replaced my entire roof with new asphalt shingles 5 years ago. They honored their commitments did an outstanding job at a competitive price. The roof still looks like new. If any issues do come up, I am confident I can rely on Aspen. Last week, I had a light tunnel installed on the roof to light one of the interior rooms. I called Aspen again.
Their technician was courteous and did an excellent job on the installation. The price was fair. I have recommended Aspen to anyone needing roof work and plan to go to them if/when I need future roof work.

Wonderful company to work with! I needed my roof vents replaced and had called a few other companies before I called Aspen roofing. The other companies made me wait more than a week for this simple bed. With Aspen roofing, I had a bid emailed to me before the day was out and the roof was fixed just a few days later. Rafael did a very good job and he was polite and helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely use this company again in the future and highly recommend it to others.

I asked Aspen to look at the roof damage done by 10 feet of snow last year. Unbelievable damage was done to many cabins in the Brighton area. I know Aspen repaired at least three of them. They came and gave me an estimate --while they were not the least expensive, they were the most complete and easiest to work with! I'm pleased with how the cabin roof looks, and am excited to see the snow season return this year.

Aspen Roofing did a wonderful job! They were very responsive, gave me a competitive quote quickly, scheduled the repair quickly and did a week-out heads-up call prior to doing the work. The work was done well and on time. Afterwards, I had some concerns and Ryan was very helpful in resolving the issues. I am definitely going to do any future roof work with Aspen and would highly recommend them.

Chose this contractor for installing metal roofing on my house. End result is roof is solid and well done. I did have some significant issues with the handling of the contract, timely communication, and willingness to make me a happy customer after the problems. If you use these guys I highly recommend you baby sit the contracting process beyond what you think you need.
If any suggestions are made that are not on the contract demand a reprint with the changes reflected before signing. Before work begins go over it again with the account worker and verify everything and everyone is on the same page. I assumed after contract signing things were in order. They were not. Roof isn't quite a cool looking as it would have been. But functionally sound.

I made an appointment for a rood repair, the roofer came came took a loom at my roof and we signed a contract after the quote was received. The repairman came out climbed up on my roof, came back down and told me he needed to go and get the supplies needed. He did not return that day. I received no phone call or, text as to why. I called the company the next day and they did nothing to rectify the situation.
We received rain that very same night and had more leaking into my home. Zero apologies. The work itself seems to be holding up. I will need more roof service in the future and will most likely look elsewhere

I have used this company a couple of different times, have referred them to clients, friends and even my mom. They are a terrific company who uses quality materials and provides great workmanship. On my own roof, they did a spectacular job with the shingles, added all new sheeting because of my old house, matched the existing fascia on new gables that they installed and even came up with a very challenging solution to re-pitch the rear of my house that had many different widths.
It all turned out great and most people think that the additional gables are original to my 1948 Sugar house Rambler. I am in the construction / home improvement industry and run into a lot of different companies and along with that levels of professionalism and performance. I only refer Aspen because of my experiences with them.

Absolute top-notch service. I could not have asked for more attention to detail or better quality of work. Our new roof and all associated trim looks fantastic! Aspen's crew even took the time to protect our landscaping and completely clean up after themselves. Deciding on a contractor for a roof or otherwise is a tough chore, especially when you're spending a good deal of money.
This is my third experience with Aspen and I will continue to use them for exterior home repairs or upgrades. Believe me when I say you will get more than your money's worth with Aspen (and no, they didn't tell me to say that).

We chose Aspen Roofing for their positive reviews and years in the business. Nice website, too. They were honest and knowledgeable about the repairs needed, so I felt I could trust Ryan when he told me our 70-year-old bar tile roof was done for. Their estimate for a full replacement with shingles + rain gutters was a little out of our budget, but consistent with other estimates.
The laborers worked hard, long days and did quality work I could tell they cared about. The only issue I had with Aspen was communication. I was given a Monday start date, but hadn't heard anything by the Friday before so I called them. At that time they decided on Wednesday, but I still hadn't heard anything by Tuesday night so I called Wednesday morning. I was told they would start that afternoon, but didn't see anyone until the next day. Oh well. The job and price are more important.

I had the same experience as the other reviewers who had difficulty getting a response from the company. It's been almost six days since we had an appointment set and I still haven't heard a word from the company as to why they didn't show up, despite my voicemail the following day. Everything started out great. I got a quick response to my initial call and a very thorough estimate emailed to me right away.
We waited through winter to start our small residential project so I called back months later to set an appointment and, again, they promptly emailed the original contract and offered to honor everything in it. After signing and returning it I got absolutely no response at all. I emailed and got nothing. I waited another couple of weeks and left a voicemail. Finally, almost a month after signing, I got a date set up.
I called and emailed to confirm. But, as I said, no one showed up and no call to me was made. I wish I didn't have use this one instance to rate the company's competency but it was my experience and it's the only rating I can really give. I'd love to give more stars based on my initial dealings with the company but shoppers want trustworthy and qualified people to do the work on their house.
I can't attest to either of those things. *** A week after my missed appointment a crew just showed up at the house in the early afternoon and began setting up to install gutters that were a completely different color than what was in the contract. Luckily someone was at the house to stop the crew and I was able to reach a manger/owner with the emergency number provided when I wasn't able to reach anyone at the main number.
I have no idea how everything went so wrong with my situation. But I am relieved that Aspen agreed to cancel my contract. I can't say they were too contrite or accountable. But they didn't push the issue and I trust that the contract was voided.

We met with several companies to get information and bids on replacing our roof. Aspen gave us a competitive bid, and the person who brought us the bid was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, so we chose Aspen to replace the roof. We felt that each person went out of their way to give us great customer service and quality of work.
Even though it wasn't required or part of the bid, they cleaned our eave vents as well as fixing some damaged detaching siding on the side of our house. We have recommended Aspen Roofing to both family and friends, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Their estimate came in higher than I thought it should be ($830) to fix some broken shingles on a small portion of my roof, but I liked the guy who came to do the estimate (I believe his name was Ash) and he seemed to know what he was talking about. The workers showed up at the agreed upon time however I felt a bit like I got bait-and-switched as it was two, possibly illegal, Mexicans who didn't seem to know exacly what they were doing.
At one point when I went on the roof to check their work they were adding silicone over the top of nails and acting all nervous and told me they didn't have a statement of work so they weren't exactly sure what they were supposed to be doing. Needless to say this comment concerned me quite a bit. They left without saying a word (couldn't speak good English anyway) and two days later I had shingles already blowing off. After cussing them out they came back and replaced with non matching shingles.

The only thing they did ok was the actual job. (installing gutters) They get 2 stars because I had to manage the process. The estimator came to the house and stayed about 5 minutes. He didn't write anything down or take any pictures. This caused problems when it came time to install but we are a long way from there. I put 30% down on the estimate and waited 2 weeks with no call to schedule the job.
I called the production supervisor and he quoted me a date out a month which I said was unreasonable so he brought it in for a week out. On the morning they were supposed to do the job, they didn't show up. I had to call and ask where they were. They came up with some lame excuse about scheduling but didn't have one for why they didn't inform me.
Then they came to my house with the wrong color gutter (see issue with estimator above) so they had to come back the next day. Oh, and the guys they sent to do the job made my wife a little nervous. Once the job was done (fairly well) I got my invoice that didn't show my 30% pre-payment. I called and they adjusted the invoice. I feel like I should have gotten some kick-back for managing their business process but of course, I didn't. If you want to take on this work for yourself, then by all means use Aspen Roofing.

I am an out of town owner of a rental property in Salt Lake City and recently contracted with Aspen Roofing to a replace my old roof, add insulation in the attic, and siding to an unfinished second floor addition. I planned a trip to oversee the project and found it was unneeded. The staff at Aspen Roofing were courteous and thoughtful and worked with the schedules of both me and my tenant.
They kept me apprised of the progress and cleaned up the work site daily and left no unsightly debris. I had scheduled new decking for the roof, but the project lead found it was unnecessary. I had heard stories about other companies trying to up-sell, but Aspen actually reduced the price accordingly. The final product was completed on time and under budget. The quality seems to be excellent. I highly recommend Aspen Roofing!
