Century Roof and Solar installed solar panels on my roof that Century had installed some years ago(that installation went perfectly). They also performed some roof repairs, cleaned the gutters, installed gutter screens and metal caps on exposed beams. No problems whatsoever with any of the work. The communication from this company is outstanding as is the quality of their work. I recommend them for any roofing task and for solar installations without reservation.

Solar System Installation & Electrical Upgrade (Oct-Nov 2021) I cannot say enough about Tony Diaz and his Century Roof & Solar company and project team - Dan, Luciano, Emilio, and Elena. My wife and I had a wonderful experience with our solar project. Century installed our SunPower 4.62Kwh with a Sunpower Sunvault battery backup system, did a complete home electrical upgrade, and added new or replaced old light fixtures for LED conversion.
The project was major, but from start to finish, everything ran smoothly like clockwork. As with any older homes, we had a few unexpected issues, but Century quickly assessed and resolved them. Our house needed a complete electrical upgrade to meet safety requirements and maximize solar energy use. Century is an electrical contractor and has certified "in-house electricians", so from our standpoint, they are conveniently a one-stop shopping business.
This was a relief because other electricians we contacted were either non-responsive or knew nothing about preparing home electrical for solar. In contrast Century is well versed on both Solar and general Home Electrical. Our whole project was done in a highly professional manner. The expertise and recommendations that Tony and Dan (electricians) offered were invaluable. We were always updated on the progress and all questions were answered with informative explanations. We highly recommend Century Roof & Solar to anyone.

Tony, Elena, and their crew are just great. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. We had a small fire which took out a 100 amp branch circuit feeding our back yard. Because there were some sensitive things on that circuit, we needed it back up and running ASAP. Century had done our roof and solar array several years ago. Because they had done such a great job then, they were the first I thought of to help us out this time.
On Monday, Elena responded first and quickly got Tony involved. They inspected on Tuesday. As it was a large job to repull the entire circuit, they needed to order materials and schedule the crew. They arrived on Friday and did all of the demo and setup. Slight hiccup on one item, but they handled that and powered through. Finished up early on Monday and we were back in business. Century will be first on my list for any future electrical, roofing, or solar work.

Century Solar installed solar panels on my composite roof and I couldn't be happier. Tony Diaz and his team's knowledge, attention to detail and craftsmanship in installing my solar system was simply phenomenal. I didn't realize how complex an installation could be. Tony answered all my questions, incredibly responsive and continually kept me abreast of my installation. I would recommend Century Roof and Solar to anyone. They are simply the best!

We have been absolutely delighted with Century Roof and Solar. They are Diamond Certified and did a great job with our new roof several years ago( my daughter and son-in-law also used them.) We got 3 quotes for a solar panel system( Sunpower) with backup Sunpower battery. Century was actually the lowest bid. I adore my roof, solar, and gutters. It makes me confident that my house is safe and protected from the top down. I got 3-4 quotes and Century was a little under the top quote, but that makes sense when you consider I got Ultra HD shingles, steel gutters custom made on premise, new siding, fireplace caps, skylights, and an entire solar system plus paid extra for a longer warranty.
Well worth it given how impeccably the work turned out and the attention to detail his crew gave to each element of the job. They were additionally flexible to work with other contractors to enable them to put in insulation and lights while still getting the job done. The most challenging part of the job was timing to get started. Because of Tony's reputation (I learned about him from a friend who also have a beautiful new roof), he books up months ahead so his quoted start date was the farthest out and then we got impacted by weather and manufacturer shortage of panels.
However Tony was also flexible around our schedule for starting the job and once we were a go the job moved quickly and our massive roof was done in 2 weeks plus inspections. He checked in every couple of days with updates as things changed (and they do change as you should expect all house projects to I've learned) but always had solutions. The only thing his team couldn't do was finish the ceiling/wall edge under my skylights that was exposed as the skylight was a different size than originally planned from the manufacturer.
Every time I had a question Tony had great advice - he was right a lot. The team was super nice, respectful, responsive, and flexible. They take real pride in their work. Tony and his two-man crew were outstanding. It took 5 working days to install 20 Sunpower panels, run the wiring, install panel boxes, remove 2 whirlybirds, and replace them with a roof ridge line vent. Tony arranged for the inspector to come out the day after the work was done! That morning Tony arrived a couple hours early to make sure everything was looking good for the inspection and that the panels were generating power for the house.
It not only passed, the inspector took pictures to use as examples for other installers. Tony then spent an hour answering my list of questions regarding next steps. Thankfully he was submitting the "passed inspection" information to PG&E and the technical info that goes along with it. The next day I was cc'd on his email to PG&E. Five days later, I received an email confirmation from PG&E that the info Tony sent was processed and PG&E was recording credits for my system. Everything was completed in less than two weeks. Impressive from beginning to end.

About six years ago we called Century Roof and Solar after talking to some people who had a roof done by them. I had gotten an excellent review from them, so decided to call. Tony came out to give us an estimate. But, after looking at the roof, he said that it didn't look like it needed to be replaced yet and that we could probably get another five years out of it.
We called Century Roof and Solar again six years later to ask for an estimate. I had also talked to a couple of other people who have had a roof replaced by Century Roof and Solar in the meantime. They all seemed pleased. We decided to go ahead. Having a total roof replacement isn't for the faint of heart because it is loud and and it shakes the house quite a lot.
My husband was really impressed with the workers' attention to detail and the fact that they didn't just rush through to get the job finished as soon as possible. The crew members were friendly and hard workers. They worked steadily all day each day. My husband said that the quality of the roof seems better than what he had been expecting. The whole project was very professional.
Although I had very limited contact with the office staff, they were pleasant and helpful when I was in contact with them. Tony is very personable and was very attentive when we had questions or concerns. Very happy to have a new roof and very happy with Century Roof and Solar.
