Reliable Residential Guttering & Roofing was started in 1979 by Harold G Robinson and John W. Link. At that time, the company worked on both Residential and Commercial jobs. The company quickly expanded and in 1992 the company divided: Harold Robinson took the residential side ( re-named to Reliable Residential Roofing & Guttering) and John W Link took the commercial side ( re-named Reliable Roofing Commercial). Our main service area is in Fayette County, but we do service the surrounding central Kentucky counties as well.
If you still use your barn for farming, you probably do not need to know the importance of barn roof repair. However, if you are new at this - or if you use your barn for some other purpose - you may neglect repairing your barn roof. You may not recognize how much barn maintenance also maintains your property values.

Repairing a barn roof requires a small investment compared to the greater challenge of barn roof replacement. More than one property owner has sought repairs only to find they would not be enough. Perhaps the barn was covered with layered generations of wooden shingles. In that case an inspector might have found old layers infested with bugs, or mold.

I have used this company's services for two repairs. The first was a leaky roof in our sunroom and they recently fixed our rotting soffits. When I got multiple quotes from several companies for the leak, Reliable was literally the only company that proposed an affordable fix for the leak instead of some super expensive alternative. One other company wanted to replace the whole roof.
One wanted to replace the sky light, which may not have fixed the leak. Reliable fixed the leak over a year ago, and we have had a dry sunroom ever since. The only downsides are that when you accept the job, you are added to their repair list and it will take several weeks for them to complete the job. If it's more of an emergency, they may treat it differently, but both of my repairs look a while to complete.
As far as I know, they don't have any means to pay electronically, which is inconvenient. Nonetheless, they have done good work for us at a reasonable price. When the roof does actually need to be replaced, we will surely have them do it!

I had a 10 minute job to get a shingle out of a gutter on a two story house. The shingle was identified during the house inspection and had to be removed ASAP in order for my son to close on the sale of the house. I called a few companies and no one was willing to help.except Reliable. They came over, removed the shingle and did so at no cost. My kind of company! I will call them back if me or my family/friends need anything roofing.

Reliable Roofing is responsive with very competive quotes & professional recommendations. Both Nick Parker & Tony stay on top of the project. They are attentive to any concerns & walk you through the job! Florio is excellent managing his team & I am happy to say I do not have any concerns about their workmanship & completed job. I recommend get quotes & going with a company that has been in this specific business because of their expertise. Heads above the five others I received quotes from! We used this company to install half round gutters, and new fascia boards on our historic home, as well as fixing an existing rafter that had rotted. Firstly they have very competitive pricing, with how bloated some of the larger roofing companies have gotten lately, it was refreshing to see some honest numbers. Secondly, they also are willing to help on smaller custom projects. Thirdly, the installers were GREAT, they were knowledgable and timely, but more than anything they ASKED QUESTIONS to ensure they did what we wanted.
I cannot tell you how many people in this town do not do this. So we greatly appreciated the open communication on site. Lastly, I will end this on a caveat that communication with the main office needs working on, which seems quite uninformed on projects in the office (who doesn't know scheduling?) I cant rightly blame them as the company seems to have set itself up to giving selective information to certain people, which can lead to a microcosmic view of a project that goes through many different hands doing their small part, this can quite frankly lead to mistakes and miscommunication (which almost happened on ours).
So as long as you are clear with your contractural needs, and you stay on top of them, the guys actually doing the work in the field seem hardworking and communicative enough to get it done. In the end we would definitely recommend them.

Reliable Residential Roofing recently replaced my roof. Work was done in one day. Immaculate clean up afterwards. Vice President personally came to inspect the work, and found no problems. Price was very reasonable and work crew was courteous and diligent. Love my new roof. I highly recommend Reliable Residential Roofing for their quality of work and follow up.

RRR just completed my third roofing contract with them. It gets better each time. The installer of the rubber roof on my garage was a pro. He explained each step and was a joy to watch as he executed it with great skill. He, his partner, and the rest of the crew fulfilled the details of the contract including cleanup in a timely manner. The company lived up to its name from estimate to completion and follow-up--Reliable!

I recommend Reliable Residential Roofing! Have been a customer for several years and Reliable Residential Roofing recently replaced the roof on my home. This company is very professional, friendly, and good on communication. They were extremely clear about the work that needed to be done to my home and answered all my questions. Reliable Residential Roofing was recommended to us by a local builder we know and trust. We are so glad we followed his advice! From beginning to end we were pleased with the professionalism of everyone with whom we have interacted - from sales rep to installers. The sales rep was punctual for the initial assessment, walked the whole roof, showed the specific areas of damage (dormer windows permitted us to see it for ourselves), and was clear in presenting what was needed - discussing a total roof replacement vs. the option of repair (which wasn't feasible due to the number of damaged areas).
The contract was emailed to us within two days, was clear and complete. The roofers were on time on the appointed installation days, hardworking, neat, and had quality of workmanship. The yard was totally clean after job completion - not even one piece of roof debris remained once they were done. Payment was not made until the job was completed and the original sales rep had returned to thoroughly inspected the roof himself, walking over it.
We are absolutely pleased with how it turned out and will contract with them again to have our gutters replaced. We recommend them highly and without reservation. Sign us - Satisfied Customers!
