Bought a house that needed a roof. The prior owners had a bid in place from Creative Roofing. It seemed reasonable. We contacted them and set it up. Then the problems started. First, they said they would not cover our "add on" garage, even though it had shingles when we bought the house. They claimed the roof wasn't pitched enough. They charged us for membrane roof, but didn't reduce the original quote. Second, we wanted the work done quickly to beat the rainy season.
They scheduled, brought their equipment out, covering access to our driveway, stripped the roof, then couldn't finish the job because they couldn't get the shingles. Very poor planning. It took several more weeks to get shingles. Three, they damaged our garage door while they were doing the work. We went back and forth for several months over repair vs replace.
They sent someone out, gave us a quote, then all communication with them stopped. It was only $900 of damage quoted by THEIR sub; radio silence. Very poor customer service. If it were more, we would have pursued legal action. As it stands, we're just spreading the word not to use them.
