Before us, you'd have to ask family and friends to recommend a Roofer. If they didn't know one, you'd have to page through the phone book, calling roofing contractors with your fingers crossed. Then, you'd have to schedule appointments with them to talk about your project. You'd have to do your own research to find out if each contractor was licensed, insured and checked their references.

Rick was responsive to my request for an estimate and came in the lowest of the three quotes that I received. He was timely in answering my questions before, during and after the roof installation. The roofing job went smoothly and was finished in two days. The roof looks great, and the yard was thoroughly cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend RJ Owens for your roofing job.

Great experience with this company. Shopped around and the speed and professionalism of the process of getting the quote was phenomenal and the price was great too. In 2013 this company installed a new roof on my home for approximately $26,000. The quality was generally good. Unfortunately they are not responsive when requested to repair a leak covered by their "12-year workmanship warranty". A leak was discovered recently and since then four calls were made by me on 6/29, 6/30, 7/2, and 7/6. Each time promises were made that a supervisor would contact me to arrange to look over the issue. To date NOT ONE RETURN CALL has been made. The next step is a demand letter. If that does not work, a small claims court complaint will follow.

This company is the real deal. My wife and I had our garage roof looked at for replacement accurately and were quoted a very fair price. A 5 star experience. Rick was extremely patient with me as I am a known worry wart. Every question was answered quickly, even during the roof application. The roof was done very efficiently and from the ground up looks great ( I do not climb ladders anymore). The pricing was fair even when we had to adjust materials since nails were contraindicated.
Clean up was so good, no one would have known I just had a roof replaced. My neighbor watched for two days and said "They were hard workers, ". Thanks to Office Manager Sandy for her help too.

Best price for the best service! After calling and researching for the best deals in the area, we chose RJ Owens and couldn't be happier. We purchased a home knowing we would have to replace the roof and even after having the closing delayed several times, they honored the same quote. After closing, they were on the job and got it handled much faster than expected.
To make things even better, they even picked up the closet door I had set aside to throw away and brought the recycling bin back from the street after it was emptied by the city. It's a small gesture but it really shows that they go the extra mile.

After 5 quotes filled with conflicting information from each company, we were more confused than ever. I felt like I was looking for a new doctor:( But after meeting with Richard Owens, the owner, the choice was clear. I liked EVERYTHING about this company and his business ethic after he took the time to answer all the questions we had come up with from the 4 other quotes.
He wasn't the cheapest but right in the middle, but you know what they say.you generally get what you pay for. His sons and Forman and Richard all dropped by to check on things throughout the job. Alfredo and his crew were wonderful.the clean up was perfect and our roof looks AMAZING! See for yourself:) We used Certainteed Shingles in "Cottage Red" because of all our original brick accents and chose Black Drip Edge because our windows were black and our iron accents are all black.and we LOVE the outcome! White drip edge is the most common color we saw when trying to make the color choices.

RJ Owens Roofing is very quick and efficient. In the past year, I have had two unexpected roof leaks at different times. I called after work and they had it fixed the very next day before I returned home from work. Both repairs were mid sized, about 6X6. They did a great job. I have and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends.
