In 1948, after serving in World War II military service, our founder, Robert H. Kauffman, Sr., decided to pursue a career in roofing. After many years of hard work and experience, Robert decided to form a residential roofing and siding business. Thus, in 1957, Shiloh Roofing was established. After Robert retired in 1986, his youngest son, Steve, purchased the business from his father, becoming the second-generation owner of his family-run business.Steve had been working with his father in the roofing and siding business since he was 15. Steve retired in October of 2021.

We had a roof leak, which is a very time sensitive issue. Shiloh came out and was able to identify and repair the leak very quickly. Workers were very professional and were happy to show me the damage they found, explain how they were going to fix it, and they performed the repair in just a few hours. Highly recommend!

Shiloh Roofing was extremely easy to work with in terms of getting an estimate for some issues I was having with my roof. The estimate provided was in line with those from other companies, and the owner provided me with some literature about what to expect from roofing companies and samples of the products they use. The owner himself came out to do my estimate, and the estimate was very detailed. He was very professional and thoroughly explained my options. The owner called me a few days later to follow up.

Shiloh roofing replaced our entire roof in 2003 with 40-year warranty shingles. It's 2019 and they still look 'like new'. I have no affiliation with Shiloh Roofing, but I happened to see that someone else gave them a 1-star review that may be without basis, so I wanted to share how pleased we are with the roof Shiloh installed for us. Our new home Insurance carrier recently asked for our roof replacement date and shingle-type, which is why I happen to be revisiting this information so many years later.

I'm about to have a new roof installed thanks to Shiloh Roofing's shoddy workmanship. What good are 30 year shingles if the workmanship is pathetic. I didn't even make it 15 years, in fact, I had water pouring straight down behind the gutters in three places during the first rain after it was installed. Too many issues to mention.just stay away.
