Working with Ky-Ko Roofing was a very positive experience, from the 1st phone call - to completion of my roof. I chose them after having 3 other roofers come out. Oscar's professionalism and knowledge, based on his experience as a roofer, made me feel comfortable and confident that Ky-Ko was who I wanted to go with. Marvin and his crew were always there on time and did a very thorough job.
When the underlayment of my roof was removed, it exposed a considerable amount of damaged wood, due to drainage issues and age. The drainage issues were corrected and my new roof looks great!

I did not have a good experience using Ky-Ko to re-shingle my roof. If they would have been proactive, I may have changed my opinion. I had several estimates, Ky-Ko was in the middle range. My contract stated 2 bad areas of fascia boards would be replaced. On the date of installation, I took off work to be present. This date was changed the day prior.
When they finally rescheduled the work date, I came home during my lunch break. When I told the workers the fascia boards had not been replaced, they had no idea it had to be done. When I returned in the late afternoon, I inspected the roof and noted several areas that were "wavy" and could retain water in a rain. A supervisor was sent a couple days later when I wasn't home. Ky-Ko called me the next day and said the supervisor said the roof looked ok.
I said "No Way" and I wanted to be there when a supervisor came out. A supervisor came out and said there were several faulty areas of installation. Several sections had to be redone. Several months latter, during a rainstorm, there was a water leak around the roof AC unit. I cannot recommend this company. They should have done follow-up to see if I was satisfied.

Horrible experience. Communication was poor from the get go. We were told that we were on the schedule for the first week of January. The date passed and I made calls to the office and was told I would get a call back. No call was received. I called repeatedly and was treated very rudely by the individual who answered. Eventually we're were scheduled and the job happened.
Two folks showed up did the work and left without any communication or follow up with myself or my wife. After checking the work I discovered it was not done. We mentioned water damaged sections and we're told they would be replaced. So I called the office and was greeted by the same rude individual who proceeded to argue with me about what was supposed to be done.
Eventually the what and why was made clear. That it wasn't communicated from the beginning is unsatisfactory for a company that is "Crazy About Quality". DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. - Edit: We were told that a crew would be scheduled to remediate our issues. This has not happened. Review updated to one star since they got their money and I'll be fixing the issues myself.

I had a miserable experience with Keith Eckert. First and foremost you don't hang up on a potential customer if you don't like the way the conversation is going. Second the reason I did not go with Kyko is I asked for a breakdown for materials and labor and was told we don't have that then he provided a sheet that had over 10k for shingles on a house that is 1200sq feet.
I asked to better clarification and he said that will be the price at every competitor that you go to. Very sad to see a good company get spoiled by a grumpy employee. Hopefully he will learn to control his anger before he talks to more customers.

If you live in the city of Maricopa, don't bother calling these people unless your bank account is full. Called for an estimate to have a roof leak repaired and to inspect my patio cover for resealing / recoated. I was told there that I would be a extra charged of $150.00 for the "free" inspection and repair service because the city is out of their normal service area. Not great customer service.

This is an amazing company of professional people across their staff! From the initial appointment, to the inspection (sales), job completion, and billing, I could not be more satisfied. This is a rare company that does exactly what it says it will do with a positive attitude from ALL employees. If you need a roofer, please consider KY-KO.

They sale you a Cadillac but you get a Chevy. Just don't expect a KyKo truck in your driveway. it looks to me like they just subcontract it out. I personally had a problem with a couple things and they did finally correct everything but I just expected way more from this company. 1 month later I had some issues with a rat coming into the roof vent and into my vent fan in the laundry room. Ky-Ko had their best man, Oscar, come out and take care of it.
He found the roof flashing around the vent was not up to par and got it taken care of. He also went ahead and checked the other vents. I really appreciate their customer service who still believes the customer is always right! I could have given them a 5 star rating but here is where they messed up: 1. they removed all the tiles and flashing very quickly but left all the vents open over night (maybe 2 nights).
Could have just at least layed a tile over all open areas so that rats, birds, etc. would not enter the roof. 2. just had the flat roof over my garage redone by another company but the workers thought this was where they should lay out all their tools, extra tile and take breaks. 3. the fllashing on the vents was not reconnected correctly (see above). Just glad we caught this early before I had a real roof rat problem.

I am very happy with the final result. Marvin the Job Foreman and his crew did an outstanding job. The attention to detail, answering all my questions, and easy to work with demonstrated their professionalism and years of experience. In addition, David the Superintendent did a great job overseeing the project from start to finish. He was very informative about the process, and his final inspection of the job. Ernie the Senior Field Technician/Area Manager met with me originally.
He took the time to explain how KY-KO will bring your roof up to code, and how the work is actually done. The job was done just how he said it would be done. That's transparency! Arlene in the scheduling department kept me updated on the lead time for the materials ordered for the job, and stayed in touch until a start date could be determined - great follow up. My roof was 27 years old, and now looks like new. I am no longer concerned about what might happen when the rain storms come.

A little late on an update. Upon writing an email, the night of the issue, a supervisor showed up that night. He agreed with the issue and we worked out a solution. Kyko ended up doing a strip down of one side of roof. Fixed the flashing in question and fixed all damaged drywall, appliances were checked and found to be in good working order. I appreciate the quick action to fix the problem. My only suggestion at this time would of been a follow up by Mgmt. to insure things were to the standards we all agreed on. The roof is fine Thank You

We contracted KY-KO Roofing after 5 other bids. They offered a special rate which is normal in the business as an incentive to hire quickly. They were contracted to do a commercial roof, old ceramic tiles of which we had to match, as well as a insulation from to cover a patio and HVAC duct. They showed up and knocked the job out. They were very responsive, respectfully, and got the job done within one week. I would recommend KY-KO any day.

Just want to let you know I saw an older gentleman hanging out at 92nd street cafe around 3:15 today. I am not exactly sure what he said prior, but I did hear, ".is N****r rights, and I can't support that." He then walked off smoking into his KYKO truck. Fortunately I do not need a new roof. But if I did, I would not hire someone with that attitude. I don't know any roofers by memory but I know yours from KTAR. And now I know you have someone on your pay-roll that is a racist.

KY-KO repaired our roof in January and did a fantastic job! As we hit a rare week in Arizona with rains predicted all week it reminds me how comforting it is to know we no longer have to worry about leaks. Our customer service rep Keith was excellent and communicated all along the process. He sent pictures regularly so we could follow the progress.
He even brought the owner of KY-KO, Obby, out to our home to assess exactly what our older stucco home needed. The team from KY-KO was professional, they made efforts to disrupt us as little as possible throughout the job, and they did excellent work! We are completely satisfied. I strongly recommend KY-KO for any of your riffing needs!

KY-KO roofing did a fantastic job on my roof! They replaced all rotting wood. Their pricing is fair. Not the cheapest, but not the the most expensive. The quality was good and worth the price. Their workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. I would recommend KY-KO roofing to anyone!

My wife is a Realtor so we have dealt with a lot of roofing companies around the valley. When it came time to replace our own roof, we chose KYKO. That should tell you something. KYKO repaired our existing roof (that had suffered some leaks over the years due to poor initial construction of the home) and then covered everything with a white foam roof.
The "estimator" was polite and very informative. The installers were prompt in the install and did a wonderful job. All went well. It was several months before we had rain so I could not evaluate the water seal of the roof until monsoon hit. Well, we did have a leak around a skylight that showed up after a very heavy rainstorm. We were told, then, that KYKO recommends replacement of old skylights at the same time the roof was replaced.
Unfortunately no one from KYKO mentioned that at the time of the install so it was not done. To their credit, they came back and replaced the skylights for what it would have cost me if it had been done at the time of roof replacement. That was a perfect resolution. I highly recommend KYKO. They do stand behind their product and their workmanship.

I don't know that anyone wants to buy a new roof, but everyone will have to at some point. I'm so glad we went with Kyko. They were the most friendly and personable company to do business with, extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the process and did amazing work on the roof itself. Our family feels so comfortable knowing we have a well built roof over our heads.

I had my roof replaced a few years ago and all was good. My review is on my service call today. I had a broken tile and requested for a service call. The tech was great the replacement fine. However I was told $75 fee service call to come out and then $75 hourly. I agreed as I don't want to go up on my roof. What I'm disappointed in is the fact I was charged $75 hourly rate for 10 minutes worth of work so be warned a service call is $150 just to come out not the advertised $75 as they do not prorate their hourly you are paying for an hour no matter how much time or work is completed.

KY-KO Roofing along with representative Mark Lian saved me over $2500. I had a quote from another roofing company. They said I needed to remove a large portion of my roof tiles and repair soffits. Mark looked at the roof and said it was only cosmetic, something our painter could repair while painting the house. Thank you Ky-Ko for being honest and saving me money.

I got bids from several roofing companies to have the underlayment of my tile roof replaced. I picked those companies based on yelp reviews, but in looking at the reviews after I had bids, I noticed how many of the reviews were left by users who had only a couple of reviews which made me wonder if they were legitimate reviews, or just left by friends/family etc. So, then I started asking around and 3 of my realtor buddies that flip houses recommended KyKo.
I was nervous due to their low ratings, but I decided to trust personal recommendations over Yelp reviews that I felt suspicious of. Their bid came in about midway between the others, not lowest or highest. Staff was nice. Job was scheduled quickly and completed quickly. They cleaned up daily and did not leave anything behind. Once they finished, they came back to check the work, do touch up, and use their giant magnet to find screws and nails in the yard. This project was big and expensive but it was all pretty painless. I'd definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to you.

We have foam roof done by KYKO and the company is not backing up their warranty with excuses. The foam is visible outside, coats have been peeled off from multiple places. There are multiple blisters on the roof. Customer service is not being quite responsive. I don't like to work with them in future or would not recommend anybody to do so, when a company is not backing up their own warranty and hesitate fixing so many issues with excuses.

Very bad customer service, communication with customers, and quality control. All in all it took them 2 months to replace our old roof, and the entire process was riddled with miscommunication, delays, and part of the roof having to be redone due to a mismatched color being installed. All said and done the work they did seems to be good, but the whole process was one long, drawn out headache. I do not recommend working with these guys.

I cannot attest to the quality of the roof repair at this time, however I cannot recommend Kyko due to the myriad of damage and issues that occurred to my home during their repair process. The contact was signed November 4, 2015, however work was not performed until two months later. Because of this time frame, I incurred ceiling drywall damage to my ceiling in my detached garage. ( I was advised I will it be reimbursed).
There was a variety of issues during the job. The staff cut our thermostat line and foamed over it resulting in a loss of heat. Note, our home is a historic Adobe walled home, it was 59 degrees in the house by morning. The after hours staff was quite rude, and we were not able to reach anyone until morning, and the heat was repaired by an outside company 24 hours later.
The staff got white roofing paint material on a large pot in the yard and damaged the stucco in several places with damage around 8 -15 inch chunks and counting. The staff also left cable wires hanging several feet off the roof, and draped over the dish. The foam material has now dried in a yellow spots on the sides of the home. Generally, they appeared to have an appearance of general disregard for my home. Kyko has agree to repair some of the items, however my confidence in what was recommended to me as a BBB A+ highly recommended company has wained as I will have to incur out-of-pocket costs on my own to make my home whole again after this repair.

Very disappointed with this company. I had kyko install foam on my flat roof about 2 years ago. They cut 3 feet up on my shingle roof and foamed underneath the shingles. Instead of correctly installing the shingles they just pushed the same shingles and cut underlining paper up without fixing to the roof. Low and behold my ac service tech let me know about the issue.
I have no clue how long it's been like this or what damage it has caused in my attic. BEWARE OF THIS PROCEDURE! Very poor workmanship! I tried posting this with no stars but it made me pick at least one.
