The 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act names only Energy Star labled metal roofing products as eligible for the tax credit. Everywhere you look today, you see metal roofs from domestic and agricultural to commercial. Today there are many forms of metal roofing from exposed fastener panels and concealed fastener panels to stone coat steel shingles that don't even look like metal.
