I would highly recommend Roofah to anyone with any roofing needs. We had a great experience from the very beginning. In the early stages while we were shopping around the project manager Shane was very responsive. We had to replace our skylights and they had to be custom due to the size. He came by the house two different times to get measurements and check out the scope of the job.

He was accessible and available for any questions we had when finalizing who to go with. It took a few months to get the windows in but as soon as they were in they promptly scheduled to get the job done. Initially we were only supposed to just do the windows but when starting the work it was discovered that the rest of the small roof section had to be replace.

They were able to do all of this on the same day. The existing case which held the window was in rough shape however he was able to fix any issues look wise we had without doing a full replacement.

We recently got a new roof and gutter installed by Shane and the crew and are highly satisfied with the work! The quality is excellent and the attention to detail that went into the job was top notch. Shane was easy to get a hold of with any questions we had before, during and after the job was completed. He was in constant contact through the day of the job asking questions or relying the progress. I can't recommend him enough! Shane has been guiding us through the roof replacement and couldn't ask for a better experience.

M & J fixed a leak in my roof a few months after I bought my home, that was due to no flashing under the shingles. Shane was highly responsive and easy to work with. Had a great experience with M&J Roofing. The installation date was delayed due to supplies, weather and other factors, but they kept us in the loop all along the way. When the day came to replace our flat roofs, they had to unfortunately remove the old wood railings. However, because of this, they did not charge us any extra for the materials they had to bring in. Julia was our contact, and she was beyond amazing. Friendly, professional, and just a nice person. I would highly recommend them for your roofing job!

There was a leak in my condo due to issues with the roof. They were quick to come assess the damage and identify the work that needed to be done. Shane walked me and the other condo owners through the repairs that were necessary to prevent further damage. He was willing to answer our questions and even provided insights into other maintenance issues.

The work was completed promptly before an up-coming storm to ensure no further damage occured. The employees were friendly and detail-oriented. The other condo owners and I were very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend their services to others.

I called M & J Roofing, The Roofah, and our call was returned the same day. I needed a repair to our roof due to a leaking vent pipe boot, which was installed incorrectly. Shane was very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. He communicated well with me through the entire process. Shane discovered some other issues of which we were not aware and fixed those as well. He explained everything to us in detail. I now have more peace of mind. Shane and co did an awesome job over several weeks of first analyzing a leak and providing a temporary fix while planning a more substantial job. The cost was reasonable and they fixed issues from the original roof installer without additional cost. We had a roof leak that had damaged the 2nd floor ceiling. I called M&J Roofing and spoke to Shane. He came to the house the next day and determined what needed to be done. He got a quote to me quickly. The day of the repairs, Shane and his crew arrived just as agreed upon. They did a great job. The roof was fixed, the crew was nice and everything was cleaned up. Highly recommend!

Shane came the same day we called. He discovered the reason a roof vent was dripping into our attic during windy rain storms. Shane fixed it right away and we greatly appreciate his personable professionalism.

He knew we wanted roof repaired ASAP as we were planning interior painting and roof needed to be repaired first. He immediately went into action. He was willing to repair that same day he came to assess which was at 5 PM.

Once he started, he realized the job was more involved than it appeared so he came back promptly the next day as promised and worked until 8 P.M to complete the job! He gave us step by step details of the problem and repair and sent us pictures of work performed on roof. Shane was Fantastic! Had some minor ice damage to deal with and super happy with the service from M & J roofing. The quote provided was accurate and tied to the finish product (prior experience has never been this good with contractors work unfortunately); worked to ensure timing worked for us; work performed has worked as advertised and no issues. Very happy with the service specially how given high demand seem most contractors are looking for larger more costly work.

Sadly this project never got off the ground. I was impressed initially by my rep, Julia, but though I texted her 5 weeks ago that I was ready to move forward and was told I'd be "squeezed in", it didn't happen. This was a roof leak I trying to have fixed and when the second one happened and I still hadn't been given a start date, I called Julia to get this going.

The estimate didn't include all the plywood I was expecting to be replaced so I had been asking for a "worst-case scenario" estimate. I was told I'd get that the same weekend and I'd be bumped up in priority since I found a second leak (roughly a week's wait), but that was 10 days ago and I've heard nothing. Today I called the main # and the owner picks up with a gruff "Hello" and I wasn't even sure I got the right #.

He then proceeded to tell me business in CT wasn't working out and they didn't foresee doing any more work there. What?!? I explained I was simply looking for responsiveness.with a quote, with a scheduled date, anything. He promised to have Shane, the manager, call me and I was hopeful.until Julia called, leaving word that she just hadn't gotten around to calling me as she needed to come out again to complete the estimate.

At this point, with 2 active leaks in my roof, work was supposed to have started, based on her promises. I'm done with this company. If the owner did have Shane call, it might've saved our working relationship, but since they left it to someone who continually blew off a job that was getting bigger by the day and didn't prioritize the customer's needs despite claiming she was, it's time to find a roofing company actually interested in new business. Over three months from the original call.if you're looking to have work done promptly, do yourself a favor and steer clear!

"Do it once do it right" that's M&J roofing. The ROOFAH! Shane and his crew did an outstanding job on my roof. They're professional, friendly, and hardworking. From the initial contact, to the completion of the job, Shane was outstanding. Communication second to none. Shane provided all the information, from financing to providing samples of the roofing colors, yes colors.

He answered all my questions. He explained what all the materials were and what they did. The one thing that stood out to me was the extra mile Shane and his crew went to make sure the job was done right. Meaning, they installed the downspouts on my new gutter. They painted the gutters, touched up the areas that needed touching up on my house. That meant I didn't have to climb a ladder and do it myself. What's better than that? I give M&J Roofing two thumbs up, way up, and you will too!

Shane was On Point from the get go. I called 10 leads. He contacted me 15 minutes later and showed up 20 minutes after that. (Only 3 others replied. days later) Price was good and we knew going in there were some hidden unknowns so he gave me a low/ high estimate range. I ended up being sick the day work was done and Shane sent photos of the issues as work progressed, amazing. They cleared up a horrible issue and it rained solidly the next 2 days. Not A Drop of moisture anywhere! Fantastic business Fantastic invested Shane and Crew 10 Stars!

Our roof was leaking so we turned to Home Advisor. We called M & J Roofing aka The ROOFAH. We spoke to Shane, he came to take a look, gave us a quote, and withi days everything was done! His crew is fast, punctual, work hard and clean up so you never knew they were there. They take care of it all! From the permit to installation to getting the dumpster to the clean up.we can't say enough as to how happy we are! We highly recommend this company.

Responsive to my communication.fair price.met appt date and time. Invoicing was user friendly as I was able to pay cc via online link. There was some shingle debris left on side grass not picked up but all in all a good job. I would reuse for roof work.

I highly recommend Matt Sullivan from M&J roofing in Bellingham. We hired him and asked him to use a different type of shingle than he typically does because we wanted a specific color. He agreed to use them and, unfortunately, some of the shingles he received were stained (not Matt's fault). Throughout our whole issue with the shingle company, Matt was an advocate for us.

We were very impressed with the level of respect, integrity and follow-through Matt demonstrated. I am certain other contractors wouldn't have handled this situation in such an admirable way. It's situations like we had that truly show the type of person you are working with and I'm so glad we hired Matt.
