It's amazing how water can be one of the most destructive things to a structure, especially a basement, so there is a great need for basement waterproofing. New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut residents understand that basements are particularly vulnerable to water damage since they are at the lowest level of a building. Water damage can expose your house to structural instability as well as mold and mildew. Mold and mildew can unknowingly damage your health. Our experts at Rain King will take care of your basement waterproofing in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut so that your home does not suffer any water damage.
Services
Throughout that time, Rain King has been called upon to provide a wide range of waterproofing solutions and has had a 100% success rate in doing so. Sad to say, it's not easy these days to find a service provider you can trust; one who will do as they promise and stand behind that promise. Rain King has many satisfied and happy customers.
Here's one of Rain King's many success stories in providing effective, honest Basement Waterproofing Services. This couple had engaged a leading, nationally franchised company that offers basement waterproofing services to resolve their basement flooding problems. Then this same company also failed afterward to provide a satisfactory resolution to the continued basement flooding, despite the guarantees they had lavishly offered earlier. In desperation, they decided to try another basement waterproofing provider and called RAIN KING.
Before recommending a particular basement waterproofing system, Rain King will first evaluate your basement's sub-floor and foundation footing construction, as well other factors, such as whether your basement is already finished, the basement's present condition and so forth. In many cases, the most effective method of basement waterproofing will be to install an interior drainage system along the perimeter of your basement beneath the sub-floor, running beside the foundation footings. These are commonly known as French drains.
Keeping the integrity of your home's foundation and support structure intact is vitally important in protecting the value of your home, and safeguarding the soundness of your home's entire structure. Foundation cracks that are not repaired allow water to enter the foundation. And this is not the only problem.

Like the previous reviewer, I too do not typically write reviews but I decided to because of how negative theirs was. I needed some work done in a commercial basement and called Rain King. I left a message and Frank called me back within 25 minutes. We scheduled an appointment for the following day and I texted him the information. The following day he showed up punctually and provided a very thorough assessment of the situation, including pricing and alternatives.

He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I haven't decided if I will use his company ( he recommended I get a few different quotes to compare) so therefore I cannot speak to the quality of the work but I felt it necessary to at least let potential customers know that they will be treated with respect. If I use the company for the work I will update my review to include that. *UPDATE* Frank did the job below budget and the basement is bone dry!

Yep. Almost exactly as the first review. This guy Frank is a joke. Called him at 9am, scheduled an estimate for mid afternoon (3pm) the next day. Texted his cell number our address immediately after the call. He confirmed it right after, texting back "got it c u tomorrow afternoon". No show. Figured he was tied up with something. Called him at 5:45pm, told me to call back in 10 minutes because he was driving and his car is too loud to hear anything. Okay. Called back, and asked what happened with our estimate appointment.

He was oblivious at first, then said he must have put the appointment in another phone. Then he says he thought it was for a different day. He then asks me whats my schedule like tomorrow. LOL are you kidding? This guy wasted enough of my time. If Frank "The Rain King" cant even show up for his estimate appointments, no less remember when he confirmed them for, .who in their right mind would want to hire him after that? Besides, read his *other reviews* on Google, Yelp, AngiesList and more.because he has *several business listings* each with their *own collection* of horrible reviews and horror stories. Frank is The "Rain King"? No, he is The Fake King. AVOID!

I typically do not write reviews but felt this situation warranted a review. If google would allow, I would give 0 stars. This review does not speak to the quality of their work so I'd like for those reading to keep this in mind. I called last week to request a quote for a situation in my basement and set up an appointment for today (about 4 days in advance).

When the time came, nobody showed up and I figured they may have gotten tied up with something else so I called to get an update. When I called, the person who picked up (I believe his name is Frank) told me that they completely forgot about the appointment and asked "so what do you want to do?". I was taken back and before I could say anything, he noted that "this isn't a dentist office where you make appointments a week in advance".

I was startled by the quick turn of events in this call, as I had only asked about my appointment and said nothing else. Whoever answered the phone was completely unprofessional and showed no remorse or care. I'm not even sure what triggered this sort of attitude, but anyone who would treat a potential customer this way probably wouldn't give you wholesome service.
