I cannot recommend Maggio Roofing enough. Everyone from the estimator to the installers were professional, knowledgeable, and fantastic communicators. The roof of my rowhouse contains a pitched front portion with asphalt shingles and a semi-flat back portion with rolled asphalt and three skylights. The roof needed replacing as it was 15+ years old with multiple layers/patches. Maggio handled everything from assessing the health of the current roof to providing me competitively-priced options for the front and back portions of the roof.

Since my house is in a historic district, they handled the special permitting and ended up recommending historically-accurate shingles on the front and a white/beige membrane on the back to help with cooling in the summer. On the day of the installation a crew of about 12 workmen arrived. They stripped off the old roof, made necessary repairs to the underlayment, and installed the entire new roof in one day.

They also reinstalled and re-flashed all of my skylights. When they completed their work, they cleaned up the entire perimeter of my house -- not just where materials may have fallen. The foreman called/texted whenever there was a decision that needed to be made, and gave me a thorough walkthrough of everything that was completed. The results are fantastic.

Rarely do I see such quality work and clear pride in work. Maggio Roofing hires great people and does great work and delivered on time and on budget. My main roof and the roof over my porch was damaged in a storm in 2021. The house had an architectural dental cornice that had the drainage system built in it. There are only 2 companies in the Washington DC area that have the equipment to fabricate that cornice. Steve P. came out and did the estimate and he worked with my insurance adjuster on a market costing for the repairs.

I had to eaiwait veral months for Maggio to schedule me me but it was more than worth the wwork. Gabriel and Sergio were the two workers who worked to restore my main an porch roof exactly as it was before the it was before the damage. They arrived on time. Wrte very professional and did a beautiful job. They not only completely cleaned up my yard afterwards, cthey also were gracious enough to clean the next door neighbor's yard when they finished to make sure no blown debris was on her yard. I cannot recommend this company more highly especially for anyone needing speciality roof wotk.

Maggio is the best roof repairing company to see my eye. Edgar was very active when its repair my 2nd building's roof. My building Repairs were very well finished, and the worksite was totally spotless and clean! I will call on Maggio again when I need to replace our roof.

We had a good experience getting our flat roof replaced by Maggio, along with a few other repairs. They had good communication when we needed to get more extensive repairs than originally budgeted and responded in a timely way to our questions and follow up requests. They weren't the lowest cost option, but I feel the extra peace of mind was worth it.

The attic in our house practically became a sauna every summer. Steve Piccirelli and great folks at Maggio came up with a plan to install a solar fan and vents to alleviate the situation. I'm happy to report the job went off without a hitch. From start to finish the roofing crew went above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan. Maggio installed a new roof on our row house about 20 years ago, put a coating on the existing roof last year, and just added new roof on a rear addition. Each time, they have been great to work with and we've had a dry house. They aren't the cheapest, but you know the old adage. Service: Roof installation

The crew that replace my roof did a excellent job, I went up on the roof after it was completed and I was quite please with the detailed work that they did. Also, I needed to replace some rotten wood and they took time to explain and show me the areas were the wood was rotten. Special kudos to the Maggio crew, they clean up after the work was done.

Maggio did a terrific job in explaining everything to us in a clear way regarding options for roof replacement. They were extremely service oriented in terms of making sure we had all the information needed, sharing photos of the work before and after, excellent communications overall. The job was done in an efficient and timely way, always making sure to arrange times that were convenient for the owners. They took care of all the paperwork in terms of permits and neighbor permissions as well. I would highly recommend Maggio Roofing.

Highly recommend Maggio Roofing! The estimator, Steve, was thorough and knowledgeable. Edgar kept us updated on when the project would be able to start. Walter and his team completed very high-quality work in our unique project that involved repairs to the bulkhead portion of our roof deck. I had a number of roof related projects and repairs that needed addressing, one of which was time sensitive flashing due to having chimney work completed. The estimator, Steve, was prompt and thorough in explaining his recommendations and provided two separate estimates per my request for the options. Steve continued to be available by email, text, and phone to answer any questions. Maggio was great about working on the timeline that was set based on the chimney project.

They also fixed a stack pipe on the roof and sealed the roof. Additionally, they were proactive communicative via email. Edgar provided updates and information along the way both proactively and in response to my inquiries. Finally, the roofing team (Joel and Mary, I believe) were kind, helpful, and did an excellent job. I was provided photos of the work and they even touched up some paint that the new gutters no longer covered due to correct installation. I would hire Maggio again!

Very much wasted everyone's time. I called Maggio for an estimate, Steve came but did not have the right ladder to get to the roof. He then did not call back for a follow-up appointment. After I scheduled the follow-up several weeks later, Steve looked at the roof, recommended a replacement, ballpark 5-10k, but then did not send a proper quote. I followed up per email, got a holding response and then nothing. In short, can't recommend at all based on this experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. RUN from this company. They are shameful, shady and unscrupulous. After massive storms, we had them come out to put down ice and water shield on a small part of the roof and patch leaks in another part. When the workers arrived, I took them inside, and walked them through in detail where the leaks were in both parts of the roof, with clear instructions around what needed to be repaired.

Their fix took all of 20 minutes. And later, when it rained again, the leaks returned. We learned it was because they only completed part of the repair and had not patched all the leaks. We asked them to come back out and complete the job. But when they arrived they insisted on additional payment before they would complete the job. They already charged us exorbitant rush fees ($2000), which we paid, but would NOT fix the unaddressed leaks without with additional money from us.

They said "it was not in the work order" which flies in the face of the very detailed discussion we had on site about the two parts of the job and the two areas that needed to be repaired. They took our money and ran, leaving us with leaks in the roof. Run from this terrible business.

Two years ago when I was in desperate need for roof repairs, Steve and the great team at Maggio Roofing stepped in and was able to provide fast, quality repairs that not only fixed my problems but upgraded my roof. Earlier this week, after seeing what I believed was possible rain damage on the ceiling, I called Maggio and they not only were able to send someone back to my house, they did so within 48 hours. Luckily, after a quick assessment, it proved to be nothing.

But I can't thank Steve and the folks at Maggio enough for the quality of their customer service and the care they take in handling all questions. If you need a new roof or roof repair work, they truly are the best in the business.

Met with representative from Maggio at the end of July to get an estimate on some repair work. Rep came out, assessed the issue and I gave all info he needed. It is late September and I still haven't received an estimate. I've texted and called the office several times. Never got a text or call back. When I talked to a woman there she was rude -/ she doesn't know where texts go and all she can do is leave a message for the rep I spoke with. I called back again and spoke to a man who was at least apologetic but he admitted he had no way to get the rep to call back. What a frustrating waste of my time and theirs.

After shoddy work from developers (surprise surprise) and years of water leaks, I finally bit the bullet and went with a full on replacement of the damage. And after doing some searching, the Maggio team has now replaced my roof, balcony, and window awnings. Full disclosure, Maggio's proposal had the highest price tag of my search, but I feel that with that came along the best customer service I received during my search and also probably the best job during the actual work.

Both teams that came out (roof and balcony/window were two separate jobs) were professional, diligent, thorough, and competent. The phrase "you get what you pay for" certainly applies and in this case I feel like I paid for piece of mind. And you can't really put a dollar amount on that. I HOPE to never have to work with Maggio again (since they hopefully fixed all my problems!), but I'd be happy to recommend them to others.

Maggio replaced my main roof approximately 1 year ago. At the same time my neighbor had his roof replaced by a different company. The work Maggie completed for me was of a much, much higher quality than my neighbors "less expensive" roof. When it came time to replace the kitchen roof there was no doubt Maggie would be my choice. This is the second time using Maggio.

The crew did a great job replacing a my kitchen roof and deck. The team was amazing and worked diligently on the entire project. They were very tolerant and accommodating as I tacked on additional work. This is a full service company that has the resources to manage all aspects of a project including decking and HVAC.

Yeah, these roofers did a great job. Jose Morales, had a great crew with him. Thank you Melvin, Arnoldo, Joel, and Alexander. They were professional, clean, courteous, and prompt. May be a bit more expensive, seamless totally worth it.

Outstanding work done quickly and as agreed by Gabriel, Ernesto & Oscar. Maggio isn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and the end result is outstanding. They have now completed my main roof and front porch roof for my house.the last roof I'll buy for this house!

They seem to know what they're doing, but they defiantly over-charge. I'd get a couple other estimates, before deciding to use them.

I would not recommend this roofing company to anyone. They claim to be able to repair roofs however, that is not the case. After the repairs were completed, my roof continued to leak. I spent thousands of dollars to have the roof repaired and not only does my roof still leak, I was not refunded any of my money. I also paid to have bird spikes installed on the roof to prevent the numerous amounts of pigeons from sitting on my roof to poop all over my property grounds, however, the spikes were not installed properly, therefore all the spikes fell off when it snowed. Again, NO REFUND WAS RECEIVED. They're truly in the business of scamming versus fixing or repairing roofs.

Maggio rep came out to inspect my roof. I wanted to know if I needed repairs or a new roof or partial new roof. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable and said he'd send me a quote in a week. Two weeks later I hadn't received a quote so I called the office. They seemed surprised and said I should leave a message on the rep's cellphone and he'd have something for me right away. I left him a voicemail and still never heard back. They don't seem very interested in getting new business.

Expert installation of copper gutter and downspout by Maggio. I wanted local.that neighbor idea.this company is within two miles. Estimate was fair, the proposal professionally done, picture of the house, several pages of specs, nicely done. Compared the cost of aluminum with copper though I had not considered, is interesting to note. I'd use these folks for other installation or repairs, glad they did a good job so I can. Told the estimator to remind anyone living in an historic zone in Montgomery County to be sure to put in for the historic tax credit for these items, roof, gutters, paint.

You don't want to mess with the roof over your head, and these people are definitely pros. They aren't the cheapest, but they are thorough, honest and do high quality work. Considering the shoddy roof work that had been done on our house before, I was glad to find them.

These guys rock! My roof is fixed! I have a hard time imagining there are roofing companies in the DC area with better service than Maggios. After a heavy rain, we realized our roof was leaking through the attic into the guest room, so we called Maggios and they squeezed us in to their already packed day. All employees (three arrived) we professional and very kind and their expertise & experience working on row houses was immediately apparent.

They provided us estimates for 3 different roof fix options within the week, and started work soon thereafter. We had just moved in and didn't have cash up front, so they provided flexible financing with zero interest for the first year. ZERO! Responses to emails always came on the same day, and all employees were patient, professional and very kind. Most importantly, the work on the roof is outstanding. I can't say enough about this remarkable company who has been servicing my neighborhood for years.

I would never recommend them. They installed my roof two years ago. Our roof had failed and we had interior water damage. During the bid process, I'd asked that as part of the installation that the insulation be removed and replaced. Too far into the installation, I realized that was not being done. I sent an email to the owner and never received a response.

I will take some of the responsibility for not understanding the jargon in the proposal, but insulation is a very common word when it comes to roofing. But why they thought someone would replace a roof without replacing the insulation still boggles me. I asked for it, and certainly would have paid for it. Two years later my roof has a leak. I called on August 29th to have someone come look at it.

It is obviously still under warranty. I had an appointment date of September 7, 2011 with Stephen Piccirelli. As of today, October 11, 2011, he has not shown up or returned any of my calls. I've made at least a dozen. My roof is leaking and I have no recourse than to just watch it drip. If I try to find someone else to fix the problem, my warranty will be voided. I'm trapped and very frustrated.

We just had our roof installed by Maggio Roofing and i couldn't be happier. If you need a new roof, these guys do great to work with and helped us out so much with getting info for our insurance company. The Crew arrived at 8am and hit the roof like a hurricane. It took them about an hour to completely remove all the old shingles. It was amazing to watch them work.

We had a few problems with the roof decking which they were great with. They replaced or repaired lots of spots and helped us replace a large section of the plywood we wanted to do ourselves to save us a big chunk of cash. They were super nice about everything, and the supervisor, was really helpful in letting us know all or our options including things that could happen in the future like unforeseen problems.

I really cannot recommend these guys enough. I got their info from my parents and they did a great job on their house and i have already given their number to my brother in law and to a family friend who both need new roofs.

I have to give 0 stars because I live five Mins outside of DC. In camp springs Maryland. I was told my area was not serviced but if I lived five mins away I would be. I could not wrap my head around why this five mins made a difference. So I called back for more clarification and was told the estimator in my area quit. Which still didn't answer my question because why can't the DC estimator help. I guess they have too much new business. But if somebody from this company is reading this. YOU DON'T TURN DOWN NEW BUSINESS. I was actually referred.

These guys are legit. My husband and I were worried that our roof had suffered during the last big snowfall, so we called Maggio for an inspection/estimate. They told us that the roof had another 2-3 years left and that we should keep our money in our pockets. Amazing! I've never had a contractor give a free estimate and then advise us to call back in 3 years. So, I can't comment on the actual work, but when the time comes, I'll definitely use Maggio!
