A branch went through my roof during a bad storm. St. Joseph's Roofing made the entire process completely painless! Andy was super helpful at making sure his team was able to repair my roof quickly, and they did a great job. I couldn't even tell you where the hole was anymore. They didn't try to take advantage of me and tell me I needed thousands in repairs like other companies did, which I really appreciate. I have tons of trees, so will definitely be using them from now on!

Although I had 4 other proposals that were much cheaper than St Joseph's. I decided to give it to Sean. He is a great guy and an asset to your company. Nick, Andy, and the team of St. Joseph's Roofing did a fantastic job! My HOA requires the use of old school cedar shakes, which they quoted and installed without issue. There were no delays, despite ongoing global supply issues due to the pandemic, and the work was done within days (including replacing 6 skylights). The team also cleaned up immaculately.

They were professional, responsive, and kind. I would use them again without pause. In fact, I recommended them to my neighbors, who will be starting a project with them soon.

I highly recommend St. Joseph's Roofing. They installed our current roof in 2004 and since then have removed the wood stove pipe chimney and patched the roof and have now installed new exhaust pipes and recaulked the roof. We have never had any issues with our roof and it still looks pristine. We were pleased with the roof audit conducted recently and were told that the roof remains in good condition and should last another 10 years.

They need to fix some rotted wood and replaced 12 sheets of plywood. The finish quality was excellent. Gutter installers were the very best. Took great care to hang the gutters properly so that they would properly drain. I highly recommend St. Joseph's Roofing to everyone.

I had some wind damage to my roof and hired St. Joseph's Roofing to replace it. I own a townhome with a roof that's just under 800 square ft (8 squares) with an A-frame gable on the facade. I hired St. Joseph's to install Certainteed Landmark shingles, synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, pipe jacks, ridge vent, drip edge, and install a ridge vent at the peak of my A-frame gable that didn't have one already in order to increase the ventilation of my attic. Tim Kelly came out to look at my roof and was very thorough; he even climbed up through my scuttle hole to take a look at the decking and my roof from the inside. Mr. Kelly was very thorough and professional.

Within a few days, I received an email detailing the project proposal and estimate with which I had a few questions. I called Mr. Kelly and went over the contract and he was very patient with all of my questions and very thorough with his answers. I agreed to the proposal, signed the contract, sent it in, and then I was contacted to schedule the project.

I was told my project would happen the week of August 1st. I hadn't heard anything by July 31st and reached out about my project and was told the earliest date would be August 2nd, weather dependent. The project began just after noon on the 4th and was "completed" that evening. I had asked 2 of the crew members to take photos for my insurance adjuster to determine if my existing roof had any synthetic underlayment or ice and water shield.

No pictures seem to have been taken as none were provided. After taking a look at the roof a couple hours after the roofers left, I noticed there was no ridge vent on my A-frame gable. I called St. Joseph's to ask about it and it seems as though it was an oversight. I was told a crew would come in a few days to take care of it. I was told the project was scheduled for the early afternoon of August 10th.

I ran an errand around 10:15am and returned home at 11:50am, just in time to see the St. Joseph's truck pulling away and leaving my home. I was not contacted when they arrived or when they finished. On the plus side I had a new ridge vent. In the contract, after the project is completed, a Sr. Project Manager will inspect the new roof to make sure it is up to the company's standards.

I reached out the second week of September since it had been over a month since my roof project was completed and I had not had an inspection nor received and invoice for payment. The Sr. Project Manager came on September 18th and performed the inspection and told me it looked good and to expect an invoice in my email. I received encouragement to leave feedback and review my experience and just received my invoice September 30th. Overall great experience with a few instances of communication breakdown, but I am thoroughly satisfied.

We had great experience working with St. Joseph's Roofing replacing the gable vents and repairing our damaged sidings. They provided a thorough estimate and answered any questions. The price is competitive comparing to others. The office staff was responsive, courteous, and helpful. Kevin, who worked on the project, did a great job. After 20 years it was time to find a roofer, which for me was a daunting task. After interviewing 3 roofers, it was clear St Joseph's was the right pick for me. When it came time to replace the failing 27-year old roof on our split level home, I solicited bids from four smaller roofing companies that all had excellent reviews. I chose St. Joseph's based on several factors: cost competitiveness, the comprehensive information provided about roof installation in general and my project in particular, the use of their own employees rather than sub-contractors, and the attention to concerns of mine, chiefly protecting mature landscaping close to the house perimeter, including two specimen trees.

The actual work itself proceeded on schedule and was professional in every aspect. The crew of five led by Alex worked 11 hours each of two days to install the roof. Their work ethic was outstanding, and it was obvious these roofers were true pros who knew exactly what they were doing. Clean-up each day was thorough, and the above-mentioned landscaping came through intact.

The finished roof looks absolutely great and has drawn compliments from neighbors. I would also note how well the company kept me in the loop, and how polite and responsive every single individual from project manager to roofer was. All in all, a five star experience that leads me to give St. Joseph's my highest recommendation.

Excellent communication start to finish. Only had a small repair item to address but it was handled professionally. Not that feeling that you get sometimes when you hire a company for a smaller type job. Arrived on time, work was clean & detailed. I highly recommend them and will use them again!

I was able to get a fair evaluation of my roof condition (no, it did not need to be replaced like most contractors would recommend strictly based on age). They called, scheduled, arrived early, completed the necessary work, explained what was done, and adjusted my bill (lower) based on time and material. Overall a very good experience!

I wanted a specialty roof - EcoStar brand, synthetic slate, product is a 50 year roof made from recycled tires for a very small cap cod. Only a few companies in the area are "certified" installers. I received 3 quotes, selected SJR (they were mid-range) and the project was completed in 2008. It took forever to receive the certified documents associated with the product warranty. 9 years later, i have a problem with animals eating the roof to gain access to the home.

After a initial repair in September 2016 due to animals eating the roof ($350), which i considered relatively reasonable, I'm now on my second request of repair for eaten shingles. I called several months ago asking if there was anything that could be sprayed on the roof to make it less palatable to the animals and never received a call back. Called again this weekend, left another message requesting additional repair and again for an animal deterrent, Bottom line, I would avoid leaving a message on the answering machine, they never return a call. it's best to call back during business hours and actually speak to someone. Now they're insisting that I be home for the estimate, which for a repeat customer, repeat problem I find annoying. I wish it was easier to do business with SJR.

I had this company come repair my leaking roof 6 months ago. Then it started leaking again. I scheduled a repairman to come fix it. I was later informed the repairman was sick but they never called back to set a new time. Now I can't reach them on the phone after multiple tries. Not a happy camper.

They do good work but communication with them is nearly impossible. Don't answer email. No way to send them a message via their web site. Frustrating.

23 Jan 2016 I highly recommend St. Josephs. After a friend of mine lamented continued roofing leaks after hiring two roofing companies to correct the problem, I recommended her calling St. Josephs. Their cost turned out less than either of the other two roofers, and for the two annums afterward that she resided at the house of 2312 N. Columbus, Arlington, Va. there were no leaks! I've since referred numerous others; several have later expressed great thanks for the referral. Also, I've done electrical work for St. Joseph's; unlike many contractors, they always paid me rapidly. Sincerely, Richard S. Otto, McLean, Va.

I used St. Joseph's roofing for a new roof on an older townhouse in Reston and to replace a small area of wood siding. Turns out I also needed new fascia board and some gutters. At no point did I doubt the crew leader's recommendations. He showed me what needed to be replaced, explained why and got the work done efficiently. When a neighbor complained that the crew was stepping on his adjacent lawn, Dave reattached the neighbor's sagging gutter and gave him new gutter screens - for free! St. Joseph's isn't the cheapest roofer but I'd rather pay for quality work and have piece of mind that a good job was done.

Seemed knowledgeable enough, but their gutter replacement price was ~$5500 and another competitor was ~$2200 for almost the same thing. Their competitor has GREAT reviews. Prices just seemed way to high.
