Expensive but quality workmanship and materials but, and this is a big but: *Had to argue with them to do the garage roof (which, like the house was brown and we were getting a gray roof), though their estimate was way above other estimates that included the garage and the contact states "all roofs". They grudgingly acquiesced. *There was a foothole through the ceiling in a side porch which no one mentioned to me. *They hosed nails and other debris down the downspouts, clogging them and causing water to cascade into my kitchen and take a wall down in the dining room. *Charged us for an attic fan though we had a finished attic and was told it would not work.
No offer of refund for that. *Had to be reminded to replace a bathroom skylight window that was included of the contract. *Made no attempt to respond or apologize or pay for repairs caused by the foothole and clogged downspout, which included debris removal, re-plastering and repainting.

Do you need a slate roof expert? Chad from Fania Roofing was recommended to me by a co-worker for his knowledge and experience in slate roofs and I was not disappointed. He spent a whole hour visually examining the outside condition and patiently explaining what a hip, a ridge, a valley is, how repairs and tile replacements should be carried out and also went into the attic where he actually found an active leak near a chimney area. He was thorough, experienced and very helpful.
