M R Plank Roofing

I am a repeat customer of MR Plank. They completed a roof installation at my old home almost 20 years ago and I had a complete tear off and new roof installed in my current home. A few years ago a micro burst storm went through my neighborhood and a large tree branch broke off the tree and went completely through the roof over a bedroom in my house. I had the roof immediately patched by a friend and I called M.R. Plank Roofing and within a few weeks they were out to tear off the existing roof, replace plywood, re-tarpaper and install a new roof all in one day!

They were a crew of 5-6 people and they worked like a well oiled machine! They even used a larger magnet to pick up any loose nails from my flower beds and grass that flew off when tearing out the old roof! Not one problem since. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking at getting their roof replaced! A-1 job!

If this company runs its business and treats its customers the way it treats its tenants the RUN away from them. I should have listened to one of their previous sub contractors who told me the office manager was a piece of work that made it impossible to work with. NEVER rent from Plank Properties, they were nothing more than slum lords when it was living there.

I have used this company twice. One for my personal residence and also for my rental house. On both jobs I received several bids and they were very competitive. MR Plank Roofing did an excellent job on my leaking roof. They were fast and pleasant to work with. They took a roof that was in poor condition and made it better than new. They promised me quick repairs with quality work and they delivered in full. Brian was very professional and courteous to me and my home. Drene at the main office was so knowledgable and pleasant to speak with.

I couldn't ask for better service. I checked with quite a few companies before going with M.R. Plank, and feel extremely confident in my choice. I would definitely recommend this company and plan on telling all my friends and coworkers!

Roof installed in 2012. Workers efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Unfortunately something went wrong during installation and nobody will give me a straight answer. After first few months I noticed some shingles were darker than others but figured they were wet from rain and hadn't been dried by the sun. Overtime several areas of shingles became more noticeably darker compared to most of roof. 7 years later it looks as though we had it patched in several areas( we have not). Spoke to Mike the salesperson and he didn't give me much of an answer. Referred me to the shingle manufacturing company. Got absolutely nowhere with them. MR Plank will not stand by their work.

I believe they installed 2 different shades of black shingles and will not admit to it. This issue took years to notice and in the end my $10,000 roof looks like a bad patch job. Pay a little more and use a better company. My next step is to go to their office and speak to the owner to try and get my roof fixed.

I wish there was a way to leave negative scores. We have had a terrible time with home repair companies lately, and I had really hoped this would be different. We received our quote July 29th 2019, a couple weeks later we finalized, the materials weren't dropped off until October, they didn't work on the roof until November 15th 2019. They finished the roof and then left without saying anything to my wife.

They left their dumpster right behind our Garage so she couldn't get out. I called and left an angry, and honestly disappointed message, and told my wife I would call again in the morning. The next morning my wife called to let me know that they still haven't moved the dumpster, on top of that she was finding tacks, nails, and cigarette butts in the yard.

One of the cigarettes my dog got to before my wife knew what was going on, she noticed him chewing on something and found a nail in his mouth as well. He had to go to the hospital. She bought a magnet to sweep our yard, not really sure why the contractors didn't have one, it was only 30$ on Amazon. Probably had something to do with the fact that instead of doing the work themselves this company contracted to other workers.

They also left the garage trashed and I am still finding shingles and nails IN THE HOOD OF MY CAR. Filthy. Rude. Lacking any sense of urgency. Taking no responsibility for themself. Do yourself a favor and use someone else, ANYONE else. We are taking legal action, and I wouldn't wish all this hardship on anyone else.

Suddenly showed up with van and big trucks in our driveway and in front of our house. Every time we needed to go out, had to wait for them to move trucks and vans! Took four days to finish the neighbor's roof. We had to broom our backyard and driveway everyday after they're done! The last day, we were inside and heard water running then came out and saw their men holding our water hose and using our water to clean up!

The next day morning, when I came out there were still debris of roof's shingles and old nails on the backyard and driveway's ground! Plus I had three flat tires! When called them, they told me to talk to the neighbor! When I talked to her, she took out $10 and gave me! I tore the $10 bill!

I recently purchased a new roof with gutters. My customer service guy Brian was the best. He was honest and answered all questions and concerns we had. As for the crew they were excellent. They were friendly, prompt, and very very good at what they did. When I first moved into to my new house there was a leaky roof. I no longer have that problem. The gutters look amazing as well! I want thank MR PLANK for their professionalism. I was dreading having to get a roof. But Brian made it easy, affordable, and quick. Thanks again.

I just had my roof replaced, which included a tear off. Work was first class. They periodically swept my yard and driveway with magnets to remove nails. I've had other roofs replaced and for years afterwards always found roofing nails. This time none, and I've looked. Workers very friendly and always gave me a feeling of only wanting to do the best job possible, and knowing that they did.

The person who came out to give estimate was very friendly and made no attempt to high pressure me to buy one item over another, or pressure to select them over one of the other 4 bids I had. Would I hire them again if I had a roof needing work? Definitely. Would I recommend them to others? MOST DEFINATELY!
