Hail damaged roof required replacement and I got several bids. Elmers was the most competitive. Their workmanship was excellent and it was actually a joy to watch this well oiled team of 5 local young men tackle a fairly difficult, steeply pitched multiple gabled roof. Cleanup was fastidious. Dan was very responsive. Highly recommend.

I hired Elmer's Roofing to replace my roof. In the contract, I have added a term that roof can not be installed in a rain day. However, Elmer's Roofing still insisted to continue installing shingles even it was raining on the installation day, and said they have multiple years of experience. After checking with their industry peers, every single person told me it is very bad practice and actually violates building codes to do that, and will almost for sure to incur mold and make shingles easy to be slip in the future.
They had only two persons come to replace the whole roof and make job much slower. I. If you want quality and efficient work, use you own judgement and take risk by hiring Elmer's Roofing.

I'm a little disappointed in the quote I received from this roofer, I don't understand how I was quoted all but the same price to JUST go over top of my existing roof with new roofing material. I received quotes from 6 other local top rated roofers to perform a complete tear off, and install of new roof and there quotes were about the same as this company wanted to charge me to ONLY go over top of my existing roof.
I called metal supplier and was quoted around $1100 for new metal and the other materials listed in estimate would've been an extra $500-$800 if that. So materials are only $2000 and labor is a little over $4000 to just lay some panels down? Doesn't seem right to me, and what also boggles my mind is that every other roofer said that they did NOT recommend going over old metal roof with new metal roofing but this business offered that option to me and also stated this would be the cheapest compared to a complete new roof. Here's my question, where's the savings at? Your quote literally came in at roughly $1000 less than me doing a completely new roof with all new material. This is wrong in my personal opinion!

I was hesitant to go with the lowest estimate but Elmer's Roofing came highly recommended by a friend. I'm glad we did. It saved our budget to allow for additional home projects planned for later as well as it is really a beautiful roof. The work was done in October 2017. They were professional and we love our new roof. I have since recommended them to friends and family who have all been happy with their work as well.

Honestly 4 stars is a stretch but I want to believe my project is exception rather than the norm for the company. I asked to install a new roof over my shed. Contacted Daniel to verify that installation would be ok since it is suppose to be snowing that day. He said " it will be good, they do installs in the winter all the time". I checked the following day, one area of roof has a significant curl and they left splitter for nail gun near the shed. Daniel said that with warmer weather they will stick better. Let's hope. Will update.
