Hi my name is Nick Mortenson. I was born and raised in Buffalo, MN by wonderful parents John & Bonnie Mortenson. I started my construction company in 1999 after graduating from high school. NMC has been growing ever since and we believe that is due to the high level of customer satisfaction that we strive for with each and every job. In my down time I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with my family. I have a wonderful wife Molly, an 11 year old son Jordan and twin 1 - 1/2 year olds Sawyer and Savannah. We love traveling to Florida in the winter months and spend some time with Molly's parents and family. We love our job and are very thankful for the people that trust us with their #1 investments. We plan on having the business continue for generations.

The team at NMC has been very responsive and professional. We had our roof and gutters replaced last fall, but the heavy winds shifted our facia and it became loose. Mike came out in the dead of winter and tacked it down until they could look at it better in the spring. In the spring, within less than 12 hours of calling the after-hours line, Kris was on site and fixed us right up! Very friendly, honest, and responsive team. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking to have exterior work done.

It was very impressed with NMC Exteriors. From the initial inspection of my roof and exterior siding to the completion of the entire project, I could not have been happier. All though the weather did not want to cooperate, Tom was very good about keeping me up to date on the project plan. The shingles were on my roof in 3 weeks and although I was initially told the siding my take up to 8 weeks (good old Covid) I was pleasantly surprised with Tom informed me it was in after only 4 and the crew was ready to start. The crew on site were always respectful, on time and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you for such professional service.

We used NMC after the storms last summer. Jon the project manager we worked with was very knowledgeable about the different products they offered for siding and roofing and what would look the best for the look we were going for. He worked with our insurance company and made the entire process very easy and not stressful. We love the finished project and have referred a couple of other people to NMC. We are so happy with the outcome!

Couldn't be more happy with our experience with NMC! Ben came out and gave us a quote, received it within a day! We got lucky since our materials were in stock, so we only had to wait 2 weeks for the install. Guys came and finished the same day! Keith, Pedro and the whole entire crew were amazing! Soooo nice, quick but most importantly they did an incredible job! You can't always get both but these guys are great! The electrician came today and was just as amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend them! Over and over and over again!

Great people and great service. I have used them multiple times (roof/gutters related) with satisfactory results. They are well versed in roof inspection and working with adjustors. They (Kurtis) speak the language of insurance company well and know what they need and looking for. They got my roof replaced and paid by our insurance company even through they rejected it the first time. I will use them again. Photos show completed roof work.

Very happy with our experience with NMC. Jake was great to work with, professional and helped us navigate the process with insurance, taking care of coordinating and making extra phone calls. Crew arrived on time, super efficient and the roof looks great. A rep came the following day to pick up extra material and made sure no remaining nails etc left behind. Jake followed up with us a week later to make sure everything went well. Thanks again!

NMC Exterior & Remodeling contractors are great. They just finish a complete exterior makeover on our house. They removed all our aluminum siding, wrapped the house and installed LP siding. Our home looks fantastic. They installed a new roof, flashing, gutters and downspouts. Also windows. This company is the most responsive that we have ever worked with and we are over 70 years old so we have worked with a few.
They are professional and produce quality work in a timely fashion. Our project is complete as we watch our neighbors wait and wait for their projects to be completed. Can't say enough about this company.

Everyone was Great to work with. The roofing and siding crews did a great job. Jon LaRoque was outstanding to work with through the whole process which started a year ago. The only down side was the electrician that was a contractor that was hired to replace the outside outlet boxes and outside lighting. He never checked in with me when he got to my house and never checked out with me when he finished the work. We had three tripped GFIs and one tripped circuit breaker. Luckily I was home and could reset these. Overall NMC is was great to do business with. Thanks Rich & Joy Arens

Working with NMC Exteriors was a great experience. I contacted them on their website over the weekend and the next business days they were following up with me. We spoke on the phone and that day they sent Mike out to meet with me and get me an estimate. He was really friendly and talked to me till I understood the process with no pressure to make a commitment.
I was able to look at options of siding on the website and Mike answered any questions I had right away. I was out of town when the siding was completed, Mike oversaw the project, updating me and even helped move things away from the house since I couldn't be there. The siding looks great and I will be coming back to Mike and NMC for future projects.

NMC Exteriors did a amazing job replacing the roof on our home. It had to have been the hottest day of the summer and everyone just kept going! This company goes the extra mile to make sure nothing is damaged in the process of removal and installation. They also came back the next day to collect more nails from the yard and garage that may have been missing the day of the roof replacement. I was completely blown away at the level of communication and service. Thank you to your entire team for making this such an amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

NMC did an excellent job installing steel siding on our house. We could not be happier with the results. Chris and Tom were extremely helpful in educating us and addressing our concerns. The crew that did the work were very respectful of our home and neighborhood. The final price was almost spot on with the estimate, and the variance was explained in detail before hand so we were not surprised. Very transparent and up front. All in all a very positive experience for us.

NMC Exteriors is a life saver! I’ve had ice dam issues with a little bit of leaking for years, and this year it was the worst it’s been, water leaking all over my kitchen in multiple spots, I have 4 buckets catching water! I was looking for recommendations on a local Facebook bulletin board for a fix & they were referred to me. Jack was so helpful, getting all my info, and said they would send Rick out the next day to look at my issues, this was at 6pm, Rick was here at 1pm the next day!
