I recently had hail damage to my roof and called Bert Roofing in Dallas Texas. They were extremely professional, prompt and courteous any time I had a question or concern about what was happening with the repairs. They were always quick to respond and provide an update on both their end and mine. The work that they did on our roof looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier!

I would not recommend Bert's Roofing. I called almost 2 weeks ago. When I did not hear anything from them, I called back and they had no record of my call. It has now been almost a week and I have still have not heard from them - so unprofessional. POOR SERVICE.

A few years ago, a family member recommended Bert Roofing to us because they'd had a good experience with them, so we called them to replace our roof and gutters. Everything went off perfectly without a hitch. Recently, they replaced some old soffit boards, replaced our porch pillars, and painted our trim. The results look amazing. Chris is very trustworthy, good at communicating quickly and clearly, and easy to work with.

I changed my mind about part of the project and he was flexible. He and the others were great about wearing a mask and keeping a respectful distance during Covid, which I appreciated. When they left, everything was spotless. The office staff are nice and helpful, too. I was very pleased. I would use Bert Roofing again and I recommend them to anyone.

After a hail storm or the like, our neighborhood in Northeast Dallas is bombarded by door-to-door roofing salesmen from who knows where making all sorts of promises and pitches that sound great, but feel hollow when you start to ask questions and press for commitments. John Bert and Bert roofing tell right up front what they can do and they do exactly what they say. John not only came out once just to give me an assessment help me navigate the claim with my insurance company, he ended up adjusting his schedule so he could come to my house when the insurance adjuster was there to politic for getting everything he though I should from the insurance company and then sent another list to the insurance company with more items that he felt they should pay.

When all the paperwork came through, John's team was at our house the next week and did an awesome job, even tearing down and taking way an old shed that was no longer useful. Bert Roofing is a great option if you need a new roof, he understand most of us aren't planning on doing this more than once or twice in our lives at most.

Service was excellent from start to finish. The came out the same day I called and completed the work the very next day. Simply outstanding. I recommend Bert Roofing to everyone. Thanks again!

Bert has repaired roofs for me twice on two different properties. but this time (August 2019) causes me concern. John Bert came out personally, is knowledgeable, made several recommendations and within 2 days emailed me a quote. As this is not an insurance claim, i contacted John asking for quotes on various possible options. 2 weeks passed with no response, so i again contacted John. he remembered my queries and said he's get right back to me. another 2 weeks and still no response. Concerns me greatly. if getting the business doesn't merit a response, how hard would it be to get a response if there was an issue with the new roof while under warranty. Red Flag

I highly recommend Bert Roofing! I had my roof replaced in May and was very pleased with the whole experience. I was aware of Bert Roofing's excellent reputation and it did not disappoint! Bill Young and his roofing team provided great customer service and a quality product. Hopefully, I won't need a new roof for awhile, but, when/if I do, I will definitely retain Bert Roofing's services again!

Made several calls & was promised by David that he would come and check out my roof, but we could never connect. After repeated attempts to re-connect with David, he chose to just not return my calls. This whole process was over a month and a half. So either my business is not needed or David is not a attentive representative of this company. After repeated calls & no follow-ups, David finally calls back about 3 weeks later. My response was that problem was already taken carry of by a company who actually cared about my business. His response, "OK, sorry".

I requested an appointment to get an estimate for a leak in my roof through company's web site on October 20. I received an email that someone would contact me, but that it may be a couple of weeks as they were very busy. I wasn't in any hurry so I replied that was fine. I was not contacted and called them on November 21st. I was told that I was still on their list to have an estimator contact me, in fact if I remember correctly, I was told I was next up. This was the day before Thanksgiving and I was told someone would call me on Monday after the holiday. It is over a month later and Bert Roofing has still not contacted me.

I actually had my roof replaced by Bert Roofing in 1996. That experience was exceptional and I made a point to keep contact information for Bert for future reference. This time (2018), I decided to have my roof replaced with Class 4 impact resistant roofing (saving about 20% on my homeowners insurance). Additional work included removing a skylight and replacing gutters and downspouts with pre-painted seamless gutters.

The work and quality of materials met a standard I expected. I appreciated Bert had one of their own inspectors come to inspect the work a few days after it had been completed. David Spanns was my rep and he was very helpful in the process and kept me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Bert Roofing.

I contacted Bert Roofing two weeks ago to request an inspection and quote to repair or replace a portion of my roof where water leakage is apparent on the ceiling below. The person who answered the phone took my information and said repeatedly that they were very busy but would be in touch within a week. Having not heard anything from them, I called again today, and the phone person wouldn't give me any sense of when I might expect an appointment.

When politely pressed by me, she admitted that this company isn't interested in roof repairs or partial replacements, despite repairs being offered as a service on the company website. Just wanted to share this experience so others don't waste time.

Found Bert Roofing on Yelp and glad I did. They did an outstanding job on my father in law's roof in Carrollton, Texas. They were very professional, on time, and even with all the rain. they were able to get the roof done in a timely fashion.

A large tree limb had broken through my roof and there was more rain coming. They were quick to get someone out to look at it and estimate. Then very quickly it was repaired. They said they'd match the existing shingles, which they did and the resulting area looked great. You could not tell that it was a patch. And so far no leaks. I'd highly recommend them.

My roof, which is only 7 years old, a Class IV roof, had a leak during all the rain we had in June. I got an estimate from the company that did the installation to repair where needed for the leak, and it was outrageous. I call Bert Roofing on the recommendation of a friend who is one of their customers, and as busy as they were, actually got someone to come out even earlier than estimated.

It was David Spann, very professional and friendly, who quickly determined what was needed and even worked me in the next week to do the repairs (nothing major, sealant mostly needed around pipes and a few shingles). The cost was 2/3 less than the other company, and he didn't try to upsell me with a bunch of work that may or may not have been needed. I can highly recommend this company with pleasure, and am only sorry that I didn't know about them when I needed a new roof in 2008.

Bert Roofing is by far the best roofing company in Dallas. I was not only impressed with the quality roof they installed but the fact that they were very customer service oriented. The roofers were punctual, friendly and considerate of our neighbors by cleaning up and not working too late or too early in the morning. If you need roof repair or a new roof, I highly recommend Bert Roofing. They have been in business in Dallas over 30 years and have excellent references and A+ ratings with the Better Business Bureau.

I like this company a lot. It is local and family owned. I have used them for years, maybe 10 years already. They are honest and do good work. I don't even consider anyone else when I have roofing needs. They do the job right and stand by their work. You can depend on them and won't be disappointed. Used them last in May 2009.

Bert Roofing was awesome to work with, we had some tree damage and we wound up buying a whole new roof from Bert Roofing. Bill Young came out and looked at the damage, walked the whole roof and it quickly became clear that there was enough damage to warrant an insurance claim. Bill came back out twice to meet with two different adjusters. We wound up applying our insurance claim plus cash out of pocket to replace the whole roof.

The crew was great, they worked fast, did half of the roof one evening and came back and finished it the next morning (Saturday July 4th). They cleaned up everything, and came back the next Monday to walk the roof with me. Bill Young made sure everything was taken care of and reminded me to let my insurance company know that we bought a new roof, and I just found out that the new roof is going to reduce our premiums by about 20%. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I would recommend Bert Roofing to anyone, and will definitely give them a call the next time I need some roofing work.
