Iron River Construction

Iron River just completed a new deck install for us and we love it! Alex, Jesse, Andy and the entire crew were extremely professional and it was completed within the timeframe laid out from the start. This was the third project Iron River did for us and we will definitely use them again for any future projects! And a nice bonus that they are very military-friendly!

I can't say enough about Rob Rosengren and the install team at Iron River Construction. We used them for the installation of a new/custom front door on what was our fourth project overall with. From start to finish, he kept us up to date on the status of materials and the availability of the crew. I travel for work, so I was very appreciative of their willingness to coordinate around my schedule so I could be onsite.

My wife and I have been extremely happy with the quality of the work, attention to detail, and follow-up on minor adjustments. We will definitely be working with Iron River Construction should the need arise again.

We used Iron River to remodel our kitchen and repair our guest bedroom resulting from water damage we had sustained in our kitchen. Alex, the project manager, was great to work with and very responsive in helping us fix the damage and complete several nice upgrades as part of the project. He also worked with our insurance company to help make the claims process work smoothly.

The project was well organized, stayed on schedule, and was completed with high quality and attention to detail. All crews were very professional and friendly and we'd certainly use Iron River again on a future project. Before and after photos below.

Second time I have used Iron River. First time was for water damage and this time to re-side my home. Excellent service and craftmanship from start to finish. Rob Rosengren was the lead contact for my project and I highly recommend both him and Iron River for a job well done.

We wanted our 30 year old cedar deck torn down and replaced with a maintenance free deck. From our initial meeting with Randy and all through the process we were always updated regarding schedule, and asking us want we wanted if a question arose. Jesse and his crew were great and kept us informed with regard to their work. Workmanship was excellent and as a result we have a beautiful deck our family/friends will enjoy for years to come! Iron River Construction did an incredible transformation of our master bedroom and bath! They helped us turn a very dull and dated space into something reminiscent of a luxury spa in our own home. Alex, the project manager, was wonderful to work with and amazingly responsive throughout the project. He laid out a timeline up front and even with the uncertain times and shipping delays the project stayed on schedule remarkably well. Alex was very hands on and visited the project site regularly.

Everyone who came into our home was great to work with and very professional. We have now done two projects with Iron River and will certainly use them again as we continue to update our now nearly 20 year old home. This is the third time that I have worked with Iron River construction and my expectations continue to be exceeded! This past fall, they re-did our deck for us. They replaced a creaky, maintenance heavy deck with a beautiful, maintenance-free deck! Alex took my vision and ran with it! He even suggested a new way to lay the boards for a new modern look and one that would last longer. Jesse, Adam, and Andy were fantastic at tearing down the old deck and building the new deck.

They even let my kids "help" with the demo and they were SO excited about this! Each night, they made sure that the site was clean and picked up, that even my neighbors were impressed with how clean it was! I would highly recommend Iron River for any job!

We recently had Iron River Construction build a new deck for us and I was very happy with the experience, the new deck looks great. Randy did a great job working with us to hear our needs and come up with a design for us. Joe and Corey did a great job building. Everyone was very communicative and kept us up to date with the timeline and any changes. I would happily work with Iron River again and recommend them to friends and family.

Summer 2021: We added a screened in porch off our kitchen/sliding glass door. We again used Iron River Construction who had remodeled our kitchen in 2020. We are thrilled with the final product. Randy, along with his crew, Joe, Cory and Derek were professional, completed high quality work and kept us informed of delays due to supply shortages. Since the completion of the screened in porch, we have spent hours there enjoying the summer nights bug free.

Thank you for another great project Iron River Construction! We remodeled our outdated kitchen (70s style) with the help of Iron River Construction. Alex B. made the process seamless. The project was completed on time and exactly to our wishes. Alex kept subcontractors on schedule and was onsite almost daily. The whole project took only 5 weeks. I highly recommend this company, have shared my experience with many friends, and definitely will hire them again for future home improvements. Thank you Alex and Iron River Construction!

Randy, Jesse and the Iron River crew did an excellent job installing our deck! Randy was knowledgeable and patient as he helped us perfect the design plans on the front end. He was very responsive and pleasant to work with throughout the process. Jesse and his crew were on time everyday, respectful and professional. I was very impressed with Rick at Iron River. They replaced our roof, our siding, and installed a ventilation system. They were professional, responsive, well-priced, and communicated well. We felt like they went beyond the call of duty to get our work done quickly and well.

I couldn't be happier with the remodel project that was just completed on my home. Alex was the Project Manager and he did a superior job. He stayed on schedule and within budget. He took the time to explain things to me - this was my first remodel and I had lots of questions. Alex was quick to get back to me when I contacted him - sometimes even well into the evening and on weekends.

I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and Iron River to my friends, family and coworkers. I am so happy with how it all turned out. It looks better than I imagined. It feels like a new home.

My husband was just sorting some of his things in the basement, and came across the window film that had fallen off the window. You know, the one that Iron River was supposed to install with *tempered* glass, and did not? One of the two windows they did that two, with both of the windows having the later-installed (by Iron River) film fail? Yeah. That window film. So he took a closer look at the film, and found out why it had failed - they did not peel the backing off it before installing. Super professional. Ugh.

We just finished a basement remodel with Rick as the project manager with Iron River. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. The craftsmen that worked on our basement were professional and their work was outstanding. We were very impressed with the communication throughout the whole process. Rick always provided prompt answers to our questions and let us know if there were any changes to the schedule.

The project stayed on track from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend Iron River to anyone if they are looking for remodel work. We hope to use them again in the future!

Iron River, and Randy Smith specifically, were a true pleasure to work with on building our deck. I appreciated all that they did to flex to our busy lifestyles. Their willingness to text/email was helpful with our travel schedules and I appreciated their open communication throughout the process. HORRIBLE! Worsted experience I have ever encountered. Overpriced, unprofessional and poor craftsmanship. Never stuck to a schedule, workers were rarely on site, lack of communication and overall a complete disaster from the beginning. I was left with less than half the job done after month and half of little progress. I have to now hire other contractors to finish the work they didn't do or did but wasn't completed but they are keeping all my money for a fourth of the jib that was done! Would steer clear of this so called BIG 50 company.

After having 3 local contractors that were no call no shows we contacted Alex. He was great to work with. Showed up every time he said he would, work was fine in a timely manor and very professional. Definitely going to be using them again. Highly recommended!

We hired Iron River for some minor remodeling. They had several good ideas to choose from, the price was reasonable. The workman showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up thoroughly after the project. We are highly satisfied.

To say Tracy has "detailed knowledge" of her line of work is such an understatement! Her breadth of knowledge is even more impressive. For example, with her insurance adjuster background, she knew exactly what our insurance company would look for and cover and explained why they might not cover other things. She even talked with our insurance agent directly. She was thorough in her inspection and the actual cost was the exact estimate she gave us. I will DEFINITELY use Iron River again!

Tracy and her team at Iron River Construction did an amazing job residing my home! They walked me through the entire process and took care of dealing with my insurance company to get the claim paid, and our mortgage company to handle getting the funds dispersed. Tracy's team was always professional and available with any questions we had. I've never had such amazing service from a contractor, and definitely plan on using them for other projects in the future!
