I contacted Stell roofing after researching and finding great reviews. They were prompt to return my inquiry, and were honest that estimates were booking 2-3 weeks in advance after the volume of calls after the recent storms. I was happy to wait, and am SO glad that I did. Mike came out, on time. I received a confirmation call from the company a few days prior to the appointment.
He immediately diagnosed our issue, and sealed it on the spot. He was friendly, professional, and honest. It is so rare to find companies who are doing honest work and aren't interested in nickel and diming you these days. Stell was fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

From the initial estimate by Michael Stell through the finished job the re-roofing of a wind-damaged duplex unit in our condominium association went wonderfully well. Stell's office staff has kept our board continuously updated by email. Michael's estimate came in considerably below the other two required estimates and even below the insurance company's claim estimate.
Yet the job Stell did was more complete and thorough including replacing all skylights and ventilation turbines. The crew finished the job in two days, as estimated, and made a thorough job of the clean-up. Stell used their own dumpster, emptied daily, so there was no lag in getting it removed following the job. Spectacular!

Mike and his crew at Stell Roofing did a fantastic job on putting a new shingle roof on our 20 year old home and detached shop! We asked him about putting wind turbines on the roofs and he instead recommended adding O"Hagin dormer vents and ridge vents on both structures for ventilation and ridge caps for the peaks to give it a finished look and it looks absolutely great!
Most of the fascia was replaced due to age and wear and this was a pretty good sized project, they pretty much tore off everything and started from scratch.. The work was started and completed when promised and the clean up stage was also perfect! Also to be noted, most companies want half up front, not this company, we didn't pay anything until the work was completed and we were satisfied! That is huge in my book for an accomplished and "Stellar" company! I highly recommend this company!

Clearly the business as a whole, down to all of the men on the crew take pride in their work, and it shows. Mike (the owner) goes far beyond what most business owners do for their customers. He is the most ethical and grounded business man I've ever dealt with, and that is truly rare.

It is a pleasure to work with Stell roofing. They are professional and know what they are doing when replacing a roof. Mike Stell and staff are punctual and respectful. They answer all questions and keep a tidy work area. The roofing crew laid out tarps around the perimeter of the house and used a magnet to remove metal that fell from the roof. They also checked twice to make sure that they didn’t miss debris.
Our new roof looks terrific! We no longer have damaged shingles and feel confident that there will be no leaks. They placed a triple layer of sealant around new turbines and existing pipes. The sealant was painted to match the color of the turbines and flashing. The roofing crew was more than happy when my husband got up on roof to examine the work.
The roof looked very neat and the lines where straight. I would recommend using Stell Roofing. I couldn’t believe some of the nonsense I got from other roofing companies just for them to come out and give an estimate. Mike Stell is true to his word. My husband is retired from the military and Mike Stell gave a military discount to show his appreciation for my husband’s service.
