Nick Tracey Roofing

First, the pricing was great. Another roofer I got pricing from was $6,000 higher, but said that Nick Tracey was great--so why would I hire someone else? A dumpster and porta potty were delivered the Friday before they started, and both were gone the day after they finished. The crew was efficient, even in 100 degree weather on a black roof! The roof looks wonderful, and they improved on the previous work: better flashing, correcting the too-narrow slot under the ridge vent. They even painted the white PVC vent stack black to better blend in. There was a supervisor onsite all the time. A pleasure to work with.

Mostly a positive experience doing business with Nick Tracey Roofing. Got a great quote from them, which was significantly less than their competitors. I had to ask for some information along the way that I was anticipating getting from the company but got timely responses. Overall, I was very happy with the final product and would do business with them again!

Needing a new roof is sometimes worrisome with costs, product selection, scheduling etc. After talking with Mike Ponti about a roof replacement he professionally presented his products, with an estimate based on my choosing. Nick, Brian and the whole team were great throughout the whole process. Came by to give me a quote quickly and scheduled me about 3 weeks out. The day of the install, the project manager, Brian, got there before the crew to keep everything running smoothly and make sure the crew had what they needed to start right when they arrived. It turned out we needed 12 sheets of plywood replaced on the roof in addition to the roof and then explained the cost and the reason why they should be replace.

We went forward with that and everything still got done in 1 day. The job site was super clean when they left, no nails or anything, you could barely tell they were even there! A week after, Brian gave me a call to check in and send along my docs. Couldn't recommend Nick and his team enough.

Nick came out within a 24hr notice of calling for a quote. He was quick and efficient and delivered the quote 12 hours later. We scheduled the roof installation for 3 weeks out based on our schedule. Before we hit the installation date we had a huge wind and rain storm that removed shingles and resulted in a leak. We made a quick call and Nick himself arrived with a ladder and tarped up the leak within an hour. They then pulled in the installation and had the full job completed 3 days later. Amazing service! Fantastic installers and very friendly!

In June, 2021 Nick Tracey and his team did a top notch job replacing my home's 20-year old shingled roof and removing two sky lights. In our preliminary conversations, Nick provided clear and pertinent information about my options and the roof-installation process. Additionally, he kindly agreed to replace some deteriorating clapboards and fascia. Nick has a friendly and warm demeanor and he is very knowledgeable about his work.

His estimate was competitive and fair. He capably managed a hard-working team that completed the process in one day. I am very pleased with the solid and attractive roof that he and his team installed and am happy to recommend him.
