Joe came out to our house. we were looking to see where a leak was coming from in our roof and to have it repaired. Joe never looked at the roof because he said he brought the wrong ladder. He told us he would be back that Friday or Tuesday. He ghosted us. Never came back or called. I left a message and never received a follow up call. Horrible service all around. I would give this zero stars if I could.

We had Kurtz Construction Co come by to give us an estimate for some leaky windows after a recent storm, and the gentleman they sent out was on-time, courteous, knowledgeable, and looked around thoroughly before recommending that we go with a different specialist who, for our specific issue, would be able to give us a lower price. He also identified a stucco issue we hadn't noticed, which we'll now be able to address before it becomes a larger problem.

The entire process was free, thorough, and over in 20 minutes, and it genuinely seemed like his priority was to make sure we got the best end result, even though it meant not working with them on this project. We'll be reaching back out to them for all future work.

Poor workmanship and unprofessional. Lacks common knowledge and experience of residential construction basics. Does not pay subcontractors. Wouldn't use this company.

I used Kurtz when our house was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. I few years later when I needed roof work done, because I have a slate roof. I called Ralph, he came out and quoted repairs on both the slate roof and our chimney. Just this month I noticed some leaking through another part of our 80 year house roof, I called Ralph. He came out, quoted and then sent the service guys to do the work, but the service guys had some suspicions and wanted to do some water tests to make sure the work that was actually going to be done would fix the problem. WELL I'm impressed, these guys at Kurtz are looking out for me! I'll continue to use Kurtz!

I called Kurtz Construction when I needed to get the roof inspected of a house I am in the process of buying. Joe was able to come out the very next morning. This was especially helpful since time was of the essence. He was on time (even a few minutes early), friendly, and courteous. He also explained exactly what he saw and showed me pictures. Afterwards, he sent a detailed report complete with recommendations and pictures that I am now able to use to make an informed decision. Thanks, Joe! I truly appreciate your excellent customer service! I would be happy to recommend Kurtz Construction to anyone looking to have some work done on their roof.

Kurtz has always done a great job for us on a old house. When we wanted to try yet another patch, they were honest and willing to do just that -- and when it was time to rip off all the old roofs and replace it - they did that at a good price. And all without trashing our garden underneath.

Kurtz Roofing did a great job repairing my slate roof. I live on a historic block, and they seamlessly patched and repaired the slate, while giving me beautiful new copper! This team was much better than the company the historic commission recommended. It makes me think that they teams that get on that list must do something for the city, because Kurtz did a much better job and really knows historic homes and slate! Dealing with dormers and valleys is not easy work, yet the team was clean and professional. Very happy with their work!
