My wife found Armor on the internet and mentioned that they had a lot of good reviews on google. We had a rather large tree limb fall on our house causing some serious damage and needed to find someone who could do repair work along with the roof. Unfortunately, after reviewing their "reviews" a little closer, it appears that one person leaving a single review turns up four different times because there are two different websites for Armor. Also, one of the reviewers was Isaac Mizrahi, very famous designer that calls New York home, not Kansas City.
While some people may have investment properties in other states, I found that review rather odd. I called on July 5th and Shawn answered the phone. I explained that I would like to schedule an appointment for an inspection and get a quote on repairs and a roof replacement. Shawn told me to text his cellphone and proceeded to give me the number, which was the same number I had dialed.
I understand that he was driving and couldn't really take down my information and was okay texting it to him. As soon as we hung up the phone, I did as he asked and texted the information that he requested. That is where it ends. I asked for him to call me to schedule an appointment and that never happened. Don't know what happened but definitely not a good first impression! I would probably steer clear and find someone that will call you back as soon as possible.

I only give my business to those who will do me right. I had some unexpected roof damage just days before my family and i leave for Virgina for the holidays. I was worried about breaking my bank and not being able to leave in time but Armor took good care of me and my budget! Thanks so much. Good people

Terribly unprofessional owner is horrible to work with, and communicates very poorly. If you're paying out of pocket they will grossly overcharge you for small jobs. They threaten to sue when you don't want to pay because the work is not up to par. $500 for less than an hour of work done poorly, 1 star is being generous. Find a more professional contractor that respects their customers and doesn't rip them off.
