We noticed some small broken tiles in our concrete tile roof. Dustin Warner came out, correctly diagnosed the problem, and Fry did the repairs quickly and at a fair price. Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value WARNING - They will deny warranty claims on a 2 year old roof and say everything is "wear and tear." They'd rather take their chances in court than cover anything out of their pocket. Terrible customer service. And good luck dealing with the attitude from the woman that answers the phones.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Hands down the worst contractor in San Antonio area! It's no surprise that architects don't want to work with them. Too many lawsuits.

They sent out a drunk guy named Dustin to do an inspection of our tile roof. He was heavily intoxicated, smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, didn't wear a mask and crashed his drone into our house several times before leaving. My husband asked him what he had been doing the night before in an attempt to hint at the obvious, but he quickly snapped back with, "I drank until I passed out!" No attempt was made to provide an excuse for his condition.

We should have called the Police rather than let him get behind the wheel again in his condition, but we were otherwise occupied with guests and children. We had planned to put it behind us until our neighbors asked us about Fry Roofing. We certainly warned them against using them. After hearing about our experience, our neighbors suggested we write a review. In sum, there are plenty of local roofers to choose from, I suggest finding one that employs people who are not a threat to themselves and others.

I've been using Fry Roofing for many years now and on multiple projects scattered from San Antonio to the Hill Country. They have always done a good job at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Fry Roofing repaired a portion of a 25 year old roof in Spring Btanch. The roofing tile was unusual and no longer available. This company matched the current tile very close and did a great job. I would recommend this company for price and work done.

I have a 30 year old concrete tile roof. It had been giving me problems for years. No one could get it fixed. I called Fry and they got the problems fixed (first time they tried). Some of the tiles were broken, and the tiles are no longer manufactured. Fry has an extensive tile "bone yard". So, they were able to find used replacement tiles. Very happy with their service.

Very pleased with the service I received from Fry Roofing. My neighborhood of ~50 homes were all custom built homes in the early 1980s. Fry Roofing was the company that did ALL of the roofs for these homes. All but two of those 50 homes still have the original roofs on them. Anyway, I was recommended to Frys by my neighbor who's used them in the past.

My home needed all new wood sheathing and underlayment due to the fact that after 35 years, it was beginning to rot. It wasn't cheap, but they rebuilt my roof, and I'm extremely pleased! Can't say enough good things about their service.

I gave them two stars because when they installed my roof, it was a decent job. However, when asked to come back to check for damage from the May hailstorms, I was told that both roofs (2 adjacent homes) needed to be replaced and I was given quotes for this. However, when the insurance peopled came and looked at the roofs, they found no damage. So, I will now pay higher insurance for the false claims made because of this business. Very disappointing.

As a Custom Homebuilder for 25 years and now an Inspector and Consultant in the San Antonio and surrounding areas I always considered Fry Roofing (Don Fry) without comparison as the number 1 roofer in our areas. As a builder I used him since the 80's for many roofs (Shingles, Tile) and now as a Consultant and Inspector continue to see his & son Chris, along w/ the company's continued excellent work.

As a Consultant I just had a current Owner Builder client that had their new home roofing done recently by Fry Roofing and it was an excellent, quality job as usual. Best wishes and continued success for Fry Roofing!

Fry did the roof (mostly concrete tile, with some metal areas) on our new construction completed Nov., 2003. We had some leaking under the metal section which became apparent on the ceiling below and had them come out twice while still under warrantee. They did some caulking around the metal section but did not find the source of the leaks. And the leak persisted.

We had another roofer out who identified the problem as incomplete installation of the metal section. He removed the metal portion of the roof and the entire underside was soaked wet! The caulk Fry applied had caused deterioration of the metal flashing and more water leaked in. In addition, the underside base for the tiles had trapped more water which added to the problem. An area of about two feet of decking under the metal had rotted away. The concrete tile roof area was not done correctly. We would not recommend Fry Roofing.
