Started in 1956 by Vincent "Bud" Bauer and his brother, they quickly became a hometown favorite for Roofing & Siding Installation. Well-known in the community as "The Original" Bauer Roofing & Siding, the company today is owned by Chuck Rowland.

Chuck started his career working for Mr. Bauer in 1988 at the ripe old age of 20! His progression in the business has led him to every facet from installer, to sales, to management and now owner.

I was needing my gutters repaired or replaced. After having several quotes I called Bauer. Chuck was very professional and actually was the ONLY salesman that actually got on the roof to look all aspect dealing with the gutter. He noticed various issues with my roof as well as gutters. He was the only one honest to tell me I didn't need new gutters and only needed repairs and cleaning.

The cost was extremely less the other quotes I received. He also took pictures to show me the damages and repairs needed. When the repairman came out he was also very professional and did a great job on all repairs. I truly recommend Bauer Roofing to anyone! Debra H.

Satisfied Repeat Customer Twelve years ago, I had Bauer Roofing and Siding install gutters and perform multiple roof repairs. Their service was excellent. Fast forward to the Dayton Memorial Day tornado outbreak in 2019 and I was in search of a roofing contractor to replace three roofs and more gutters. If you were in this situation, you know if was difficult to find a roofer to come to Miami County, let alone have one respond back.

I had several water leaks as a result of the storm and needed fast action. John quickly contacted me and worked with my insurance company to assure my repairs were done professionally and promptly. While an outbuilding roof was being replaced, another severe storm occurred. The roofers on site took extra steps to make sure everything would be okay during the storm.

The lead roofer was very conscientious which led to great looking new roofs and repairs. I am happy to report that one year later, I am still very satisfied with my new roofs.

Had a leak in the overhang. Technician came out and couldn't find anything wrong. Took picture of the overhang and said he would show it to others and get back to me. Never heard from them.

Excellent Service.discovered a leak in my garage. Chuck R responded to my text right away. I was very happy because it had been raining for several days and concerned with much more damage. Dan and Rubin came out and fixed it right way. Friendly and very professional.
