My experience with Springs Roofing Corp. goes back to 2009 when it was recommended to me. Between 2009 and 2017 the owner and his crew made minor repairs to my roof for which I was satisfied. In 2017 I signed a contract for reroofing and upgrades. The roof passed Final Inspection. However, although I kept asking for the written warranty, it took the owner 2 months to give it to me.
It took Springs 5 months to complete the job and in March, 2018, Springs worked only 9 days. Further, throughout the work, the owner offered to give to me a Flash Drive that contained all the photos that he and his lead man took of the roof during the entire process. I also asked him to give to me a list of the upgrades with specificity that was done on my roof.
The roof was finished on early June, 2018. The owner was a man who I trusted and depended on, and even though I sent him emails, certified letters, and telephone calls, asking him to live up to his word, after he got Final Payment, he all but disappeared. As of today, August 31, 2018, he still has not given those documents to me. Word of caution to anyone engaging a roofer: Make sure that your contract explicitly lists everything that you want/need and don't make final payment, even if the roof has passed final inspection, until all components of the contract are satisfied.
