Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Quite a few unanswered phone calls and emails pertaining to their poor installation. Just paid another contractor $500 to nail down all the loose shingles they claimed to have installed. JMac was paid in excess by us of $20,000 to install a roof and siding. Will not recommend and have filed a complaint with the BBB. Service: Roof installation

They put a roof on a three-story colonial at a competitive price, did it quickly, and did a quality job. (This is the fourth roof I've bought in the last three years, so I'm familiar with what a good job looks like.) No last-minute add-ons except one section of gutter which couldn't be saved and needed to be replaced, which they did at a fair price.
I asked JMac for a quote on another property I'd just bought that had a lot of water damage on two bedroom ceilings. John at JMac told me he thought it was old damage and that the roof was fine, it was only about 10 years old. I got a second opinion from Jilek Roofing, who quoted me $6175 for a new roof. When I questioned Jilek about why it needed to be replaced, the guy said the granules were wearing off. We chose to believe JMac and fixed the ceilings without replacing the roof. No leaks.

The most prompt and courteous of the 5 local businesses that we contacted regarding a full tear-off and replacement. Very competitive price. Worked around my schedule to set up a sit down discussion. Signed a contract and a crew was on site within two weeks. Job took two days on Friday and Saturday of the holiday weekend. Cleaned up spotlessly and the finished product is beautiful. Will happily refer.

Terrible terrible experience with jmac. Never again.ever! Crew of men using loud profanity and even parking their trucks ACROSS THE STREET in my neighbors driveway? "Ah dude theyre not even home man" New roof placed directly over HOLES that weren't repaired I come to find out. Water leaking into the house! Then when I call the "nice office man" I'm told "The leaves caused your leak"- but what about the $7000 new roof that was put on. WHY WOULD it leak now? Ahhh isn't it a NEW ROOF and the area leaking was supposedly "double ice guarded"? and hey we also bought the nicer shingles I said!.
I then Paid a diff contractor to come investigate - he showed me EXACTLY what they did AND TOOK PICTURES TOO! Then a spot in the FRONT OF HOUSE starts leaking and he finds MORE Shotty WORK. More money flys out of my wallet! Never again.
