Cheap is expensive when replacing your condo's roof. As a condo owner, you're responsible for taking care of your property along with the homeowners association. Why restoring your roof has its benefits. With all the rain that this season has brought, you may have noticed that your industrial or commercial property needs a new roof. Look out for these sorts of construction defects. When it comes to your commercial property, there are lots of updates to make to your building.

The skylight in my unit had very bad leaking right after replacement by SBR roofing. The crew came to repair that issue However, after latest rainfall I still had a small leak from the same spot of the skylight Besides that it did cause some damage to the area underneath the skylight (please see attached pictures) SBR roofing co representative Dan Cahill have refused to do repairs to correct damage they cause by unprofessional job of his company. Stay away from this Mickey mouse roofers!

WATCH OUT! COMPLETE CROOKS! We had SBR come out to do an estimate on a leaking roof on April 22nd. Two guys showed up, whom I spoke with and showed the damage. They went on the roof to take pictures, as well as take pictures underneath the balcony where the roof was leaking. While they took pictures, they seemed to be pulling back some of the shingles to take further pictures, or poke around.
I verified twice with the men that they were only doing an estimate. I was told that the balcony needed to have the shingles removed, and a different type of roof installed over that area. When they left, I asked when an estimate would be sent over, and they stated that their boss would be in contact within the week, after he viewed the pictures. I called a week later, after not receiving the estimate.
I never heard from them again, until we received a $500 bill for REPAIR. That's right, A BILL for REPAIR! We never hired SBR, never saw an estimate, never signed a work order, or agreed to anything! What a bunch of crooks. When I called to dispute the fraudulent invoice, I was told that in order to save money for potential clients, they just go ahead and do repairs without permission, if they are under $500. WOW!
And further, they didn't repair anything. According to the fraudulent invoice, they added some mastic glue, and re-nailed in a sagging gutter! Again, this is after I was verbally told that the fix was to remove the existing shingles, and install a different type of roof for the low slope on the balcony. which would be discussed in an estimate sent by their boss.
After all that, at the bottom of their fraudulent invoice, it states "At your request we can prepare an estimate for this work." Wow, wow, wow. We are reporting them to the California State Attorney General, the FTC, and filing a complaint with the BBB. STEER CLEAR! I'm shocked that a company thinks they can get away with this sort of blatant, deceptive behavior. ***Update, in response to the owner's comment. Gary, that's a lie, and we both know it. 61% of your reviews on yelp are 1 star.
That should speak volumes. Nobody hired you. I was the person who called and had you come out for an estimate. Your estimate magically turned into an approved, and then completed work order, cleared by the building owner, whom you nor your workers didn't have a phone number for. all under an hour? Gee, that's pretty strange. Go lie to the office of the Attorney General when they contact you. Rest assured, I will keep hammering you until you cough up the truth, and rescind your bogus invoice. You got the wrong guy.

This roofing company did a fabulous job on my commercial flat top roof with six skylights. The roof has several intrusions from air conditioners, heaters, etc. It was so wonderful to have a big rain and not have rivers coming into the building. The roofers were kind and professional. Dan was the person who evaluated the work to be done. He did a thorough work up on paper (so there were no surprises). I can't give enough thanks to this company for doing such a wonderful job!

The worst company I've ever seen in my life. They constantly lie and overcharge customers. They are not even able to fix a simple leak! They came in to fix the roof leak in my house, said that they repaired everything and guess what - only after a month leak started again! When I called and said that they need to come and fix their mistake they said they are very busy. Avoid this company at all cost and you will thank me later.

Hands down the worst roofing company out there. They fixed my roof 3 times already, and it is still leaking, in the same spot. It takes weeks for them to come out. The only reason I had to work with them was because they were contracted by my HOA. They are NOT professional in any sense of the word, horrible company and unprofessional employees. I would put zero stars if I could. My Condo is ruined second time because of them.

Work they did caused other issues. They were called to repair those issues. They did and then had the nerve to charge us! Their answer is our handyman could have fixed this. He probably could have, but we thought they were an honest company and would repair their own issues (at no charge to us). Our mistake. Don't make the same one.

This company is working on my condo right now. They disconnected my A/C yesterday and didn't reconnect it when they left. When I called they said that they would have it connected and operating today. Surprise! Surprise! Another company that doesn't do as they promise. No A/C again today. Not even a call to explain or apologize. No Integrity = Bad Business. Don't trust this company.

Terrible. Work was done on a condominium complex. The work was rushed and it shows. There are bits of roofing material left dangling off the sides. There is paint on exposed shingles. There is significant amount of tar material left behind on walkways and patios. The worse is damage that was done to an AC unit belonging to a neighbor. Was working before they came, damaged after they left. They did not accept responsibility for the 1000 dollar repair. Avoid. They were some of the most unprofessional contractors I have ever seen.

You are so going on my "heaven sent" list. While you may not do foam, you referred me to Burbank Roofing. The guy at Burbank didn't know of anyone but said their commercial sales rep Curt might. I called Curt who was on a job. He called me back 15 minutes later and is actually taking time to come out tomorrow, look at my roof and recommend someone who can fix it! I can't thank you enough, and when my tile roof needs work, I hope it is something you do.

DISAPPOINTING. Surprised by an overall lack of professionalism, yet true to the negative stereotype of a flakey contractor. I called every few days to see when they could schedule my job in and they kept putting me off. After signing the work order, I waited 2 weeks only to hear that they cannot get to my job for another 2-3 weeks if at all. You best have a big order or you'll be shuffled down to the bottom of the pile and strung along. I recommend going elsewhere.

Currently in escrow on a house with a roof from hell. These guys came out same day, did inspections and emailed detailed report with quote so the seller can issue credit. Real professionals. Roof price was very cheap compared with other verbal quotes I got. Our realtor recommended them. When I called with questions they got back to me within minutes. This type of service is rare to find.

I have spent WEEKS trying to find a contractor that can perform a specialized repair on my roof. My roof is foam and I am replacing an old AC unit so all I need is that area patched. Of those that ever answered the phone I had estimates of nearly 20,000! (For a 15'x15' section repaired? NO WAY!) I called SBR and got Dawn. While they could not help Dawn stayed in contact with me, calling back several times. Gary kept finding people for me and had Dawn call me back trying to help. WOW! Their support and quality of service even for those they know will never be a customer is amazing! And that explains why they have been in business as long as they have.
