A & A Services

This was my second project with A&A, after having new windows installed in just one room three years ago. This project was about replacing all the other windows, and the patio door as well. While Ed is a sales consultant officially, his approach was that of a tradesman at heart. Ed was greatly helpful once again throughout the project. He walked me very thoroughly through what would be done, so I was comfortable "going all in." A few days later, I saw Ed back outside my house taking measurements (again).

Since I noticed, I let him in to double-check on a few indoor specifications as well. They know their due diligence at A&A. Next up: Getting the project approved by the city's Historical Commission, which is very meticulous about all the trimmings of historical buildings that can be seen from public ways. Again, this was in good hands with Ed.

He explained to me the potential sticking points, prepared his case, attended the Commission hearing on my behalf, and successfully ferried the project through the process. It took a tad longer than I thought it would for the project to move forward with execution. That was probably a supply-chain issue. The pleasant surprise was that the eventual plan was for the whole project to take only two days rather than the four days projected originally.

In the end, the actual completion was exactly one day behind the date projected originally, so.same difference. It was about time the windows and patio door got replaced. As of this writing, I still need to do some priming and painting on the trimmings, and re-install the curtains. That tempers my excitement a bit, but already I get a sense of how the new windows and doors upgrade my place. The capable crew did an outstanding job. You get what you pay for. Once again, A&A delivered just the result I was looking for: home improvement.

We recently had our roof replaced followed by new siding by A&A Services. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and attention to detail. This business did a great job on my roof. They came highly recommended through a co-worker who worked in the trades. They explained everything involved and priced it quickly for me. They did not pressure me to sign an agreement. They thought of all aspects including things specific to the New England climate to combat ice dams. When I had to have some chimney work done unexpectedly, they understood that this needed to happen first.

They arranged the dumpster and other deliveries very well, and kept me in the loop. On the day of the job they showed up and were very professional. I found hardly any debris in the yard afterwards, and they answered all of my questions. Crew was very professional and worked very efficiently. They even picked up the lawn sign advertising their business exactly when they said they would. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. We have used them in the past for our roof, gutters, and a siding project. Most recently we hired them to install windows. Their employees are always respectful, professional, and dependable. We needed carpentry around the windows; the work is just beautiful. I feel like when I work with them, I don't have to supervise or worry. That is worth a lot to me.

We had 17 windows replaced in our house just a week ago. The team arrived on time and completed the job in 2 days. We have already noticed a difference in warmth and sound. Although we have yet to use the windows the install looks great! We went with A&A because they were not your pushy sales group and constantly remarked if we had any problems to call. I would highly recommend using them for your next job!

This is my third project with A+A services. They sided my house nine years ago. We replaced the upstairs windows two years ago. they replaced the downstairs window last week. the work crews were awesome, and dealing with Sean was easy. I would recommend them for your next house project.

A&A resided our home with CertainTeed Cedar Impressions Shingles & covered our windows, fascia, & soffits. They were here everyday and did not stop working, even when it was getting dark. They cleaned up every night, always respectful, answered any questions and were an absolute pleasure to work with. The job was done much quicker than we expected and our home is absolutely beautiful. Several years ago we had A&A Services replace the siding and gutters on our old house, and we had them come back this week to replace our roof (our house was built in 1900; the pictures in this post were taken today). Their work is phenomenal. The crew started first thing in the morning and diligently worked until sundown despite the unremitting heat and humidity.

It is obvious they take pride in their work as demonstrated by their meticulous attention to detail and thorough cleanup. Chris Zorzy and his team of people at A&A Services have been a pleasure to work with throughout the process for each job. They are responsive, skilled professionals. We were given clear explanations of what the projects would entail and why.

All of our questions were answered. Chris provided us with updates, was available to answer any additional questions, and followed-up to ensure we were satisfied. There were no surprises with regard to time, cost, or production. This established, reputable company is who you want to hire for quality work, as well as for your peace of mind.

A&A Services installed windows in our home on one of the hottest days of the summer. Regardless of the oppressive heat, the installation team was efficient, personable, and professional. The clean-up was outstanding - we hardly knew they were here, except for the beautiful new windows they left behind. Sales followed up to make sure everything was to our liking. Would recommend and work with again.

We prefer using local, small companies for home improvement projects. This is our third project with A & A Services. We were impressed, as usual. Andrew and RL showed up precisely at 7:30 am Friday morning for our replacement window (7) project. They certainly knew their job; made the project look effortless. The attention they gave to details during the installation as well as clean up inside and out was impressive. We will definitely look to A and A for any future home improvement projects. Recently did our siding and it looks great! The detail is sharp. Cleaned up every day and finished in a week.

Second time we've used AA. This was for window replacement and first was for roof. We would use again and recommend.

Timely. Efficient. Polite. Considerate. What a wonder the experience was. We needed gutters installed to corral the water of rain runoff coming down in front of our front/back door. It's a 150+ year old house, so it has it's quirks. like never having gutters installed. ever. A&A sent some folks out to talk about what 'our needs were' and applied their knowledge to present a solution 'they could stand behind' and that would fix our problem.

Payment was clearly defined and scoped out. It was simple and efficient to find a day (literally took them 4 hours) to come out and get it installed. They called a day prior to verify we were still on schedule (something no one in New England ever does). They arrived on time, explained what they needed again (it had been a month and they wanted to ensure we knew what they were doing), then cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. 10/10 would recommend. Matt provided great service and we'll be using them again.

A&A Services did the vinyl siding and gutters on my house in 2006. Sales rep Ed Burge was thorough and accurate with his estimate, the crew was clean and professional, and the job was completed quickly. Ed personally checked on the site throughout the process and paid attention to small details we pointed out. The materials and installation were flawless and still like new 13 years later.

One small issue that arose several years later after a major storm was fixed at no cost. This company's prices aren't the lowest, and the gutter system they sold might have been overkill for our needs, however the quality products and workmanship were well worth it.

I had a great experience working with A&A. They replaced the windows in my historic home. They installed wonderful, energy efficient windows quickly. The works looks great!

Here's the way it works with these guys: a salesperson checks what you want done, writes up a contract, and a crew comes to do ONLY what's on that list. IF they notice something right next to where they're working, one or two of the crew might tell you to tell the sales guy (one guy won't bother, because he's pissed all the time.maybe because he wants to hurry up and go drink.

When you tell the "boss" he gives you an estimate to do the "extra" but when the carpenters finish the extra the cost is 50% more than the firm estimate given to you two days ago. The company is a total money vacuum.they charge almost twice as much as other firms, and you DON'T get high quality work. You get average work. I just had to have some work done they should have done before now (I'm hedging time lines to stay anonymous here).I paid 1/2 what A&A would have charged me, and the work is much better.

I took photos showing what A&A didn't do. I'll take photos of how the new guy fixed what they should have done. Don't believe all the marketing hype.in the case of A&A, you don't get what you pay for, not by a long shot.

Want top notch service? This is where you go. They only use high quality products and the customer service was amazing. If you have a need for any exterior improvement please give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend these guys. Hired them in the past for major work on my house(siding, windows, doors, gutters & downspouts, rebuilding my front porch and my cellarway). They did a damn fine job.

Recently had our entire roof re-done, and also some new gutters. The job was professional, I really liked our customer service person, and it was pretty stress-free. Our property is not an easy one - it's on a cliff. I felt they really had a handle on what they were doing; they left no mess behind; and even the neighbors couldn't believe they accomplished so much in one day. An entire roof in one day. The gutters were one more day. All in all, a good experience.

Really rude. he did not want to talk to me or give me an estimate unless my husband was present. very disrespectful. a waste of my time

We have had numerous projects with Chris and Ed. From a sun room to a mud room and numerous Windows they never disappoint! They are knowledgeable, professional and dependable. I would highly recommend!

First let me say that I did not have any work done, however, I did meet with Ed B. from A & A to discuss roofing needs and siding needs. Ed arrived as scheduled to my home. He was AWESOME! He thoroughly checked out our roof our siding, trim, etc. Turns out we still have some life left in both. He was informative, honest, and a stand up guy. The two times I called the office to make/change appointments the women I spoke to were pleasant, helpful and efficient. When the time comes to have the work done on my house, A & A will be who I call.

My husband and I have hired A&A services for several jobs over the years, most recently to fix very tricky basement windows which other contractors told us were too small to replace. A&A came up with a solution and the windows look great! Every time they do a job for us, they do so professionally. They show up when they say they will and thoroughly clean up after themselves when they are done.

I feel like they respect our time, which has not typically been the case with other contractors we have dealt with over the years. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is they are on the pricier side but they are well worth the extra money!

We had a logistically difficult window installation project that entailed some light construction and siding. We consulted with a couple of contractors who kind of scratched their heads but walked away wanting the job and assuring us they would "figure it out." Then we called A&A. Chris took a look, told us exactly how it needed to be done, carefully reviewed window choices with us and gave us the estimate.

We moved ahead with the work and he sent over an amazing crew of guys who were in and out of our house in three days. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations in every way. No muddy footprints on the stair carpet, no Dunkin' Donuts cups left on my grandmother's sideboard, no "surprises" in the bathroom. In fact -- and this is absolutely true -- they left the room where the work was performed cleaner than it was before they started. But more important, the work was top notch and did not exceed the estimate. We will definitely use them again!
