Had roof inspected last year and needed repair or replacement. Decided on replacement. End result turned out great! Quality check follow-up a couple of days after install was appreciated. Appreciated support through the process from Morgan (scheduler), Rob (PM), Chuck (salesman), and Jon (crew leader). I would highly recommend to others in need of a roof replacement.

I was referred to Kearns Brothers by a co-worker. She showed me pictures of the Roofing installation on her home and I was impressed. My name is JT and I went on the website and entered my information that night before I went to bed. I received a phone call from James at Kearns Brothers the next morning. He was so knowledgeable, professional and customer service friendly.

I'm telling you, the very next day, I received a call from James again with quotes for both my renter homes and he emailed the quotes and sent pictures. I was sold with this company. To ensure I was making the right decision, I contacted 4 additional Roofing Companies and I did not hear from 3 of them and the 4th didn't call back for over a week and then said he would send the quotes with pictures but did not.

I called again and he finally gave verbal quotes but no pictures. I did not feel they were really interested in my business. Now lets talk about Kearns Brothers again, I am so pleased with the services. James is always making sure I have all the information I need, he keeps me updated. Morgan calls to ensure I am pleased with the work so far and is always available.

I am so happy I went with Kearns Brothers, I have already shared their information with others for work on their homes. I am also going to have an inspection on my own home soon and of course it will be Kearns Brothers that will do this for me. Kearns Brothers Inc. is the only company I would ever refer anyone to. I know from disappointing past experience what a good roofing company is now. Kearns Bros. is a good company. They have skilled workers who care and take pride to do their best. Gary Holm took the time to understand my needs, answer my questions, and provide an estimate. Honest and respectful. Rob Riedel/Project Manager made multiple visits during the removal and installation of the roof ensuring what was promised to be done was being delivered.

He kept me informed of the progress. Rob even sent me a couple pictures of the roof (I don't like heights). Enrique and his crew are hard, nonstop workers, I can't thank them enough. They started the job and stayed working throughout completion and clean up. House and garage roof removed and replaced in one day. The clean up surpassed my expectations, wow. Thank you Kearns Bros. Our salesman Dan Strudgeon was amazing! Attentive but patient as we got other quotes. He waited a month and was never pushy for my decision. I obtained 2 other quotes and after reschedules and no shows, the savings from other companies wasn't enough for their lack of reliability. Kearns contacted us weekly to let us know the status of the roof. Rob and Carlos were the crew leaders, they were here by 8 and out by 1pm and the new roof looks fantastic!

Both were professional and went above and beyond to explain what was going on the entire time the crew was here. Dan was honest when he said they were not the cheapest but they will be sure it's done right with a 50 yr warranty and they did! I want to know they are there if anything goes wrong in the future and I know they will be. The companies that give you a cheaper quote, well don't count on it they can barely show up for that!

Thank you Dan, Rob and Carlos for a wonderful and painless process of getting a new roof. I left for work with an old dirty roof missing lots of shingles and came home to a beautiful new look. I would not have known they were at my home because they didn't leave a trace other than the spectacular new roof!

We recently had our roof and gutters replaced by Kearns Brothers. Rudy Mendez did a great job on showing us the roofing products and making us feel comfortable. Morgan Valois from the office kept us in the loop for scheduling. John's crew was on time and did a great job. Rob Riedel was our project manager and he was very helpful. There were a few issues with the siding after the install was completed. Rob took some time away from his family and stopped by on a Saturday to make all of the areas of concern look better. We are overall happy and would recommend Kearns Brothers to our friends and family.

The roofing crew was hard working, professional, and informative. They cleaned up after themselves and left our property as they found it. James Cole (salesman) answered all my questions and was very informative and kept me up to date. The project manager (Mercury) stopped by a few times to see how things were moving along. We are just waiting for the gutters to be done now. Great crew!

We recently had a large Picture Window & 3 smaller bedroom windows installed. We are well satisfied with the entire experience. Our experience staff members Scotty P-Sales, Elizabeth-Customer Service, Jim and his qualified workers, all who were skilled, polite, neat and left our home as clean as they found it. By far the most reliable, professional roofing company. Others told us we needed an entire new roof for $7-$10k. Kearns told us our roof was good for another 5-7 years and priced the repair it needed at $750. No pressure, no lies. We will definitely be using Kearns again! Service: Roof repair

Don't use these guys. They will try to sell you a new roof even if you don't need one, and unless they can replace at least half your roof, they don't even want to look at the job. They will try to scare you into getting a new roof, and then think that you will be so grateful that they saved your house from even more unforeseen damage by their quick action. Dishonest at worst. Unknowledgeable at best.

The guy Kearns sent out was clearly on commission and not interested in doing a small repair. Without even looking at the problem area, he started talking about how they would have to tear of the roof from hip to hip on the back of the house to stop the leak. I tried telling him that it is leaking from an aluminum trough next to the chimney. He looked at the wrong side of the chimney.

I kept telling him it was on the other side. He did not even bother to look. He started talking about how my roof was SO OLD, I might want to replace the whole thing. The roof is only 16 years old, and the shingles and roof deck under the shingles are in good condition (no soft spots, no curling, no cracking, no discoloration, no loss of surface granulation, no nail pops, no loose or missing shingles) and it was a very expensive, high quality shingle.

I spoke to "Mike Kearns" who refused to recognize the problem. Clearly, this company does not want to repair your roof. They just want to sell you a new one. Small jobs are not cost effective for them. I get that. Show me some respect and tell me that, don't try to rip me off by selling me something I do not need. Update: I ended up doing the repair myself.

It has been six months. About $100 in materials from Home Depot. It took me an entire day because I did not know how to do roof repairs, and had to keep looking stuff up on the internet, but I figured it out. A very nice roofing professional at ABC Supply Company told me the aluminum trough was called a "scupper". It probably should have been replaced when my roof was redone 16 years ago, but he seemed to say that roofers consider the "scuppers" as a gutter and want you to call a gutter guy and don't always do this work themselves.

No excuse for Kearns Brother's since they advertise that they do gutters and aluminum siding as well. Anyway, 6 months later no leaking. I keep checking the attic and monitoring the ceiling with my moisture meter and everything is dry, dry, dry.

A rep came out on 7/26/21 to evaluate the damage done to our house from a storm. He knew the insurance claim amount and shared enthusiasm for doing the work to repair the house for the insured amount. Despite several calls and emails since the rep first came over, the rep and the supervisor have not returned a single message a month later. I left a 1-star review here on Yelp and then they re-engaged contact and apologized.

I took the review down and they communicated well for a week or so but since then have not returned any messages from me or my wife. So, after 2 separate 4+ week ghosting episodes, I'm writing this review now and it's going to stay here on Yelp. We gave them a second chance and they still failed. Awful.

We contracted with Kearns and put a large $$ deposit down for new Hardie siding in March 2021. After multiple calls and emails for a start date, Gary Kearns finally emailed and said February 2022 is the soonest they can get here. BUT THEY HAVE NO SIDING CREWS. They're holding my deposit but have no way to complete the work. And they now don't return my emails. What is going on in this previously reputable company? Beware.

I've been begging for Kearns Brothers to come out to our Condo to make a very simple repair since August 10th.5 weeks! They have been stringing me along the whole time; they simply don't want to me bothered with a minor repair. After waiting all this time, the day of the repair was finally here. I was home all day yesterday and was told they decided to cancel without ever reaching out to me due to foul weather.

We had no rain and no storm advisory.they just didn't want to do the work. Perhaps they will be responsive to you for a new roof, but if you have any problems with your roof and you are getting water into your home, don't hold your breath waiting for Kearns Brothers. They will let you down!

Poor workmanship in terms of gutter installation. Purchased a whole house gutter replacement and roof repair. Gutters went up great but then a section started to leak. No big deal, they'll send a crew to fix it. Crew comes back "fixes" the section, and lo and behold, it starts to leak again. No problem, the crew will fix it "again". This happened FIVE times all in the dead of winter where ice would leak all in front of the entrance door.

My guests needed ice skates to get to the front door. I ended up having to repair and seal the gutter section myself. The only saving grace is that they refunded that section of the gutters and their customer service is pleasant. Roofing repair seemed great though so maybe just got unlucky with the gutters.

Product and installation is quality, customer service is terrible. Never return calls or emails. If you have a high tolerance for NEVER having phone calls returned, they're fine.

I just found out that a raccoon had torn a hole in my roof and realized that it was going rain tonight. I must have called a dozen places to find someone who could cover the hole before it started raining but Mark from Kearns Brothers really came through. Even though he's a regional VP, he took my call, did his best to find someone to come out, and when he couldn't and was worried about the inch of rain forecasted for tonight, he personally came out and took care of it, in the dark and rain.

I cannot thank Mark enough. You really can't put a price tag on that kind of customer service and just plain good-heartedness. If you need help with your roof, call Kearns Brothers first.

We had Kearns Brothers remodel our kitchen, dining room, fireplace, and install hardwood floors after receiving a recommendation from a close friend. We are so happy with the results and receive so many complements when people visit or we're on ZOOM work calls. Keith and Brant were both fantastic. Keith provided great consultation and ideas when we needed them. The quality of the work and attention to detail was impressive. We already have a plan for them to take care of our next project. Kearns Brothers worked hard, were concerned for our safety, and did a decent job. However, after they gave us the quote and we accepted it, we had to pursue them for an appointment. We also had to pursue them for inspection and a bill. However, my major issue is that their price came in almost $4000 above their estimate, most of which was for extra wood and the labor associated with it.

They claim this is because they had to replace a number of beams because ours were too far apart. They knew or should have known how old the house was, and we told them how old the roof was, so I'm not sure why the beam issue was a "surprise." In any event, I think they owed us at least a phone call about the increase when they discovered the issue, so that we could plan for the additional cost and understand it before it was done.

I got 3 quotes from 3 reputable companies for a new roof. Kearns (Plymouth) was very competitive and won the job. I was pleased they started the job in less then a week from the decision. The crew did a great job and took extra effort on the cleanup. From the sales person (Gary) to the coordinator I had a great experience.

Save yourself the frustration and don't bother with this company. I got a quote to repair gutter and aluminum trim and was given an estimate of when the work would start. The estimate start date changed (of course) and I could not get the salesman to call me back for a new start date. I even spoke to the executive general manager and even he was unresponsive.

After wasting almost 2 months and only after I cancelled the job did the salesman send me an email. I had to hire another company to do the work which was completed in 2 weeks time. This company does not come close to the promises on their website. Especially the promise to provide excellent customer service. Please don't waste your time!

Getting ready to finally have roof replaced FIVE weeks after I was told it would be done. "they didnt have the supplies my co-op maintenance rep told me " Kerns dropped off all the supplies on my lawn a week ago, and yesterday dropped off a bunch of metal trim? right on top of newly planted flowers I personally brought back from VT ( I wasn't home so I didn't witness them doing that ) when I got home I immediately took pics and called Kearns. left message that THEY will pay for the flowers if they don't come back up next Spring and to come back and remove the metal strips, ASAP. 24 hrs later? I removed the metal sheets myself - plants crushed

We've used Kearns for our roof & they did an amazing job. :) But we recently had a small leak in our kitchen:( I called them and Paul came out to see what was going on & seen that a small section of shingles had been blown up from strong winds! Nails were blown out completely! He nailed them back down & sealed them for us :) Thanks Paul for coming to our rescue:) Cuz rain is coming again! We highly recommend this company!

Haven't used them for roofing. But. Having seen how they just drive around Dearborn scares me. Driving like maniacs. Driving in and out of traffic, surprisingly haven't seen any accidents yet. Just saying.

These guys are crooks. The guy measured my roof by some Bs technology and stated that my roof was 3490 square feet, when actually it's about 2399 square feet. Then he gave me this outrageous estimate on my roof. More than double of the other roofers. These guys are croooks! Do not go there!

Update: We eventually had to have another company come out and fix their work! Kearns put gutters on rotten wood, causing more damage then before! Water entered the house, dripping from the inside of the window casings onto the sill, damaging two of the three of our windows! Ate our losses and digested a valuable lesson! Moving on! I really think they don't like small time jobs. Sorry I'm not asking you to build me a house or replace a $10,000 roof!

Kearns Brothers did (2) jobs for us: a roof repair and a rebuilt front porch. I spoke with Chuck regarding our outstanding issue(s) and we scheduled the roof repair within a week of his consultation with us. The flashing was replaced around the chimney--the guys that did the job were quick and courteous. So far so good: no leaks! We later had our front porch rebuilt and it looks fabulous!

It took a little extra time to get that job done--mostly due to city permit--but it was totally worth the wait. Once again, we had an excellent crew do the job. Overall, we had a great experience with Kearns Brothers. Thanks!

Have used Kearns Brothers for our roof in 2007 and a deck rehab this year (2017). They are super to work with. They show up as promised, do quality work, and follow up to make sure we are satisfied. There have been no call backs, because they do it right the first time. All workers are professional and clean up everything perfectly! I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Compared to other contractors we have worked with, this company is a gem! And their bid was competitive too!
