The consultation meetings you held to select the proper roofing materials were painless. Actual samples were brought to the site, which made it easy to visualize how the material would integrate with the building.
Brochure photos could never provide that degree of confidence. Once the work started your crew was on time, kept the work area tidy and completed the job as scheduled.

We were referred to Hatley Bros 2 by our insurance company for flood damage repairs from the winter freeze of Feb. 2021. Hatley Bros 2 hired a group out of Louisiana for the mitigation work. This company sent a bill to our insurance company. Insurance immediately sent me a check for $10,485.45 payment to them, plus $1,066.35 fee to Hatley Bros. for handling it.
I immediately wrote a check to Hatley Bros 2 to pay for the mitigation and his fee in MARCH. We were in a hotel for 9 weeks, coming and going to the house to let workers in and out. We paid for our own carpet, wood flooring, new dishwasher, and all the packing, storage materials, two storage buildings, plus workers to help us. We reimbursed ourselves the allowable amount from the claim out of the insurance money that was allocated for this.
The monies were sent directly to us. Whenever Hatley Bros asked us for a check, we would write him a check. Now, Marsha at Hatley Bros. says we have to pay the group out of Louisiana out of the money allocated to us from the insurance company that was ours. We reminded her we paid the mitigation money to Hatley Bros. 2 and gave them the check #, etc. Marsha says I didn't tell them this amount was for mitigation, so I have to pay it out of the money I was allowed on the claim. Marsha is upset because we didn't give them all the money that the insurance company paid to us. Well, duh!
They didn't pay for the items that we did. The mitigation team in Louisiana is calling us wanting payment, and now is about to place a lien on our home for $10,485.45 that Hatley Bros 2 has pocketed. Our adjuster says he told Hatley Bros. 2 to pay the mitigation team. Mr. Hatley says that the adjuster never told him that. I sent an email and copy of texts saying this amount was for mitigation to Mr. Hatley and the adjuster.
Never heard from either. Have left messages for Mr. Hatley or Marsha to call me. Today, I called again and talked to Marsha and she again says they are not paying the money for the mitigation. I said I was tired of this crap, and she said she wasn't going to listen to me cuss. Crap? Really? I told her I was going to post all over Facebook that they were dishonest and she said she wished I wouldn't do that. So, within minutes I finally got a call from Mr. Hatley. Said he would look over the expenses and call me back in 20 minutes.
It is after 7:00 PM and never heard from him. I couldn't get a hold of the adjuster. Called our insurance agent and he gave us the number for the adjuster's supervisor. Called and left message. Never heard back. Another adjuster called me back. Explained everything to him. Insurance said Hatley Bros 2 needs to pay this amount because this was what it was allocated for.
I am so frustrated over how dishonest this company is. I never dreamed I would have to argue about something that is so obvious and simple. So, we are still awaiting to hear back, and will be receiving calls from the mitigation team wanting their money. Moral of the story - DON'T USE HATLEY BROS 2 FOR ANY WORK DONE TO YOUR PROPERTY.

Highly recommend! I was looking for a black owned contracting company and received the name Hatley Bros II from a facebook group. The company was prompt in responding, came out the next morning to give me a quote, took care of all permits, and finished construction in 5-6 days. I had a vision for a raised deck next to my patio with privacy panels, and a pergola. Hatley Bros II took that vision and exceeded my expectations, it looks Amazing, like a resort!

I needed to get a new roof for some time and had received a couple of quotes from other contractors. When Hatley Brothers II gave me a quote, their's was not the lowest but based on their work on IG, I went with what looked to be quality work. I am glad I did! My roof (1600SF) was finished in one day! Their team followed up with me to make sure everything went well and I was satisfied with their work on the next business day. They even hand delivered a generous thank you gift!

Hatley Brothers 2 has done 2 roofs for me and both times they did an exceptional job. Each job had issue after issue which was not the fault of the roofers. The homes were old and roofs were never replaced so required alot of extra work and expense. Hatley Brothers worked with me and fought for every $. They finished the job early with utmost quality. Trust me, you will he satisfied.
