FSR provided excellent and responsive service. Scheduling was constrained by Covid-19 delays in materials but they kept me informed, through the entire process. When a slight mishap necessitated ceiling repairs they took care of it right away. The finished roof looks great and I have received many compliments from neighbors- some with whom I had never spoken with previously! The crew was very good and worked quite quickly. Chuck Floyd, owner of Florida State Roofing and Construction, helped me with a current problem I have had with another unrelated roofing company which installed my roof several years ago. Mr. Floyd was so kind and informative and even offered to make the corrections himself even though the problems weren't his company's fault. We had a metal roof system installed in Sarasota, FL by a certified Worthouse installer Florida State Roofing at the end of 2021. We choose the Worthouse Supre product in Sierra Brown color. The entire experience with the manufacture and the Roofing contractor completely exceeded our expectations. The Worthouse Metal Roofing system makes our house look absolutely incredible and is the talk of the neighborhood.

The installation was perfect, and the crews were fantastic. The value for the money in our opinion is 2nd to none. The initial cost is more than conventional systems, but with 3+ times the life, Miami Dade approved, 200 mph uplift wind rating, fire & impact resistant, and comes with a lifetime warranty. And did I mention, it looks absolutely fantastic. I'd like to say we would do it all again, but I don't think we'll need to. We couldn't be more pleased. This is the way of the future.

I personally did not do business with this company but my next door neighbor hired them for their roof. Their roof was in great need of repair and the company seemed as good as any. My neighbor has been one of my most trusted friend and it gave me great pain to see her go through this ordeal. While I am certainly aware that others have had good experiences with this company, it makes me confused as to why they treated my neighbor so poorly.

I live right next door and their incompetence could not be more evident. They never arrived before 10 in the morning and always were very quick to leave. While my neighbor indicated that they promised to pick nails up after every day of work, my neighbors car, my car, and their truck all had a flat tire by the second day. I myself am not in the construction business so I have to admit I do not know the proper procedure in this case, but if new materials are in need due to an unexpected revelation during the middle of a project, I would assume that the person funding the project will have to be notified to increase original cost. Unfortunately, this is not a hypothetical but, in fact, what had happened to my neighbor.

She had to pay thousands of dollars more than the agreed cost and was not told until they were at her house asking for the check. She is very depressed by the outcome of the roof and I cannot do anything but warn everyone else looking for a company to reconsider their thoughts about this company. Again, as I mentioned, they do not treat everyone in this manner and they have had many praises from a lot of customers.

I trust that they are telling the truth, but there is a definitive risk involved with this company. In the end I simply have to say that I would not be leaving this comment here today if I had not been so angered by what they had done to my neighbor.

Being in my house and even seeing my roof makes me depressed. While I ultimately cannot make up your mind, I hope you will consider my warning. I hired them because they promised to be able to have my insurance cover my claim. They were in fact able to do so and reassured me things were going to be all right. I was happy at the time and thought that they were reliable. However, it did not last long as they became more unresponsive after I signed with them. Adam had a difficult time answering my questions and replying to emails.

While Adam himself was a nice man, he does not know how to do business. He is not punctual, and he constantly oversells and comes short on promises. While I cannot say in confidence that the whole company is like this (because I mainly dealt with the inabilities of this one man), I can say that if the company itself is ok with his performance than, it reflects badly on the company itself.

Im so thankful for Florida State Roofing Company and especially Adam Fleming who not only came out to check where my leak was coming from but also came back to meet with with my insurance adjuster. I am convinced had I not called for a roof repair to find out it was actually storm damage my insurance company would have denied my claim. Thankfully my house has a new roof today! Thank you again for all your hard work Florida State Roofing!

Florida State Roofing made it so easy to get our roof repaired after a tree fell on it. To find one company that does general contractor repairs, roof replacement, AND helps us work with the insurance company seemed too good to be true. But they delivered on everything, and did it all right before the first hurricane of the 2021 season. The team is professional, easy to work with, and did great work. Thank you guys!

I bought a completely renovated home with a Florida State Roof. The home inspector pointed out that the flat part of the roof bowed and held water. I was assured that it would be fixed because I had a 5 year warranty. However, that was not the case. Not only has Florida State Roofing refused to fix the problem (they blamed it on the builder), but they were rude and angry at me when I stated they were not honoring their warranty and workmanship after many calls. I suggest you go elsewhere for roofing work. Caveat emptor

I contacted the office the staff was courteous and helpful, I received a proposal for a repair and reroof, I decided on the reroof, I would definitely recommend, the cost was fair the work was excellent, they went above and beyond to give me a great new roof!

Excellent service and quick response. We discovered some loose soffit areas on one of our rental properties as well as some minor roof concerns. These can lead to rodent issues so best to quickly fix. I called various roofing companies I have used in the past and was told it would be a week to get an estimate and then 1-2 weeks for repairs. Chuck at Florida State was a life saver.

He sent a repair guy over the following day and all work was completed well, quickly, and for a very reasonable cost. Galdino and his helper were a pleasure to work with and he gave a number of useful pointers such as using squirrel guards to cover the vent protrusions to stop rodents eating the lead seal edges. In addition, Chuck gave excellent advice on combating pesky rodents! I will be using them in future for our roofing needs. Thanks a bunch!

We had atleast 5 quotes before choosing Florida State. They weren't the lowest, but definitely had a plan of action for our difficult flat PONDING Roofs. The outcome was great, better than expected, they used very nice materials, at not a bad price, as our old flat roofs were in VERY BAD SHAPE. We went ahead with shingles and solar fans as well, it really does keep the house a lot cooler.

They communicated every change order in detail, if we wanted to No or Go, which was great. The guys were kind and respectful to the property. The best part, it was all over in 3 days, demo to finish. WOW! AWESOME JOB GUYS!

RESPONCE TO GM. COMMENT; To many times in our industry people PAY for a "Home Inspection" and the report often states to contact a licensed roofing contractor. I don't understand why people that do not own the home feel we should supply a service for free? To much time and money is wasted on our part for "Home Flippers", "Real Estate deals" that end up as a deduction at closing with no benefit to us.

New home owners often put off doing the roof, instead buying furniture, painting, fixing odds & ends ect. Often handy men, relatives or someone on the side is doing the work using our detailed estimate. Thus pocketing the extra money they made at closing. We also charge for Roof inspections / estimates to Non Home Owners with a credit in signing a contract. GM, try calling a appliance repair company, Air Conditioning, computer, or Home inspector to see if you can get a free estimate. We are doing this to keep our costs down for our Loyal Customers as they do not want to pay for your FREE SERVICE. GOOD FOR YOU FLORIDA STATE ROOFING.

After discussing our project, reviewing quotes and contacting the referrals, I feel Florida State Roofing & Construction Inc was the best choice for us based upon quality work, reasonable cost and customer satisfaction.

We have been through two major reconstruction projects in the past and have not worked with anyone who has provided such prompt attention and response from the beginning to the end of a project.
