The Union Roofing Contractors Association provides many services to its Southern California member contractors, and their employees, to maintain state-of-the-art expertise in commercial and industrial roofing, waterproofing and the installation of photo voltaic systems. The mission of the Union Roofing Contractors Association (URCA) is to promote public awareness of the value of hiring union roofing contractors.

Services
The primary goals of the URCA Apprenticeship Training Program are to improve the quality of craftsmanship and safety conditions in the industry as well as assisting employees in becoming familiar with the different facets of the trade. Our valued customers can be assured that URCA member companies utilize the most skilled and well-trained employees in the industry.
In cooperation with Cal OSHA, URCA is continually working to upgrade job standards and working conditions. URCA conducts workshops that address the major safety concerns of the industry. URCA provides member contractor employees with up to date safety training including CPR, Fall Protection, Forklift Certification, Respiratory, Confined Space, and more.
URCA contractors and their craftsmen are continually trained on current techniques, applications, materials, and new innovative technologies in roofing systems, waterproofing, and photo-voltaic systems. URCA Contractors are also current on all codes and regulations. As an example, they understand the complexities of the revised Title 24 part 6 roofing requirements.
