Now in our 44th year, our basic philosophy of providing "the highest quality of workmanship at a fair price" is unchanged. If you are shopping for a cheap price, we're probably not the right company for you. If you're shopping for the best value for your roofing dollar, a roof installed by Wilcox Roofing will be leak free and trouble free for the lifetime of the product which we install, and that makes us the best bargain in the roofing business.
While the temptation to grow and expand is ever present, we have deliberately chosen to keep the business small enough to ensure that every roof is installed by our best people and with our undivided attention.

Paid for chimney to be flashed. Paid well over 2k for job. Roof started to leak around chimney. When I called I was told with all that rain we had last night everyone's roofs are leaking. Not happy with that response. Owner said he was stop by and contact me but never did. So if your looking for company not to back their work. You found it.

I've had two separate roofs installed by Wilcox when it was still owned and operated by Burt Wilcox. He was an excellent businessman with customer service at the core of his enterprise. As a result he enjoyed a great reputation. Unfortunately the business was taken over by an individual with different priorities and as a result the reputation of Wilcox roofing is suffering.
They no longer return phone calls or follow up. I've heard from others with similar complaints. Its a shame a reputation built up over decades by Burt is being tarnished by the current owner. Wilcox will be missed.

Wilcox had done some prior work for us, which was fine. When we called them a 2nd time with a serious roof leak, they were not interested in the job an claimed to only do new roofs. Their web site falsely claims; "If you have a leak in a new roof and your installer is nowhere to be found, our in-house mechanics are 2nd to none." They are none because they won't come out to repair a roof they didn't install.

Great People here. New roof installed in a day. They removed old shingles. From Bert to Maryann in office and Keith. Great job. This company always has owner on the job to make sure all is done correctly. Bottom line, you need new roof, don't waste time with people that dont install roofs full time. Very important to have people that know what they are doing.

Surprisingly, one of the only roofers to return a call after the storms -- came to our house, told us how horrible it was, what a crappy job the builders did, and how we were really in trouble. Then, refused to take the job -- there was no mention of cost, no mention on timetables, just a "I don't want to deal with this". I guess they have so much business, that they don't care about getting more.

Did a great job and finished in a day and a half with a full tear off and replacement about 6 months ago. No room to negotiate price which was disappointing but they claimed to have plenty of business and by the looks of how it turned out, I can see why. Plus the price was within $200 of what I estimated it to be based on research anyway. Went through 3 other roofers in the area and even tried to hire one who never returned my calls. Wilcox Roofing was recommended to me and was a pleasure to work with.
Only negative is they left no materials (shingles) to make any repairs I may encounter. Also there were occasional nails on the lawn but from what I hear from others, that's normal during roof replacements and since it was so minimal, they likely tried a decent job of clean up.
