After reading others experiences, I feel I should speak about our own. Yesterday morning, we had a rather unpleasant experience with a sales person who claimed to be one of the owners. They had come out yesterday door to door and wanted both decision makers present for an estimate. (Weird, but understandable.) My fiance obliged, and we set up a time for them to come back yesterday morning.
We had told them a time, and the salesman called an hour early to come by. (I was woken up by this, and I have severe medical issues, but again, no problem.) We gave him a tour, and he quoted us $16,500. All the while telling us how old and outdated the windows were, asking if we had haggled to knock our house purchase down because of the windows. (Which, they're older, yes, but we had two different inspections and an appraisal done and nothing was said about our windows being an issues.) He then said if we made the decision today, that he would knock it down and take care of the permits for $15,000.
We asked for a moment in private to speak about it, and because we weren't necessarily looking to pull the trigger because we JUST purchased the house, and we are planning a wedding. We made the decision to wait on it, and our grandmother came in to ask what direction we were thinking of going. (Which, she's our grandmother, that's what they SHOULD do, as we are mid-20s, and just bought a house!) We explained we didn't want to take in a cost like that right off rip, and she stated that it wasn't a bad idea because the price DID seem a little high, but between the three of us, we didn't have much frame of reference.
We called Ron back in, and explained that we just weren't ready to make such a large financial purchase. His tone IMMEDIATELY changed and he was EXTREMELY unprofessional (inside of our home!) he stated we weren't going to find a company that is going to send an owner out like they did, that we weren't going to get his deal he offered (which I worked in sales a long time and understood that), that our grandmother talked us out of it, and to have good luck calling a bunch of other companies.
He was very short with us trying to explain, and then essentially ran out of our house. As I said before, we weren't looking to do it right away, but we WERE open to it, and thanks to this salesman, we will not be considering Kroll in the future. I have never had such a terrible experience with a salesperson in my many years of working sales. There is nothing you can do to justify this experience for us, but I thought it should be known that this is how your door to door salesman are behaving toward potential customers. Good luck in the future.

Kroll Construction did Aluminium Siding for my home last year. During the winter, the aluminium siding got ripped off. We called them left a message. A person came to take a look at it sometime around February when it was still cold and snowy. He said he will order the replacement and will be back in a few weeks when the snow had cleared. April no one called or bothered to show up.
I called them and they had absolutely no clue and I had to re-initiate the whole process again with him. I had this person come home and re-evaluate and he mentioned that he needed to order the parts as the person who reviewed it the last time left the company and had not done anything. This happened in April. I called Kroll construction towards the 3rd week of May to find out what was happening, no body answered left them a message.
To this date, they have not bothered to respond to my calls. One of the worst companies in my opinion. Their customer service is almost zero or negligible. It's like they just don't care because they have collected the money for the service, though it is still under warranty.

We researched two different gutter companies and settled on Kroll and I honestly believe we made the best choice! Chip was exceptional with his sales presentation, the receptionist (Shay) was phenomenal and so pleasant to talk to during the initial appointment stage. The two gentleman that actually did the gutter work did a great job with installation and the best they could with the clean up. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome and have already recommended Kroll to my sister-in-law who is also in need of gutters.

I signed a contract with Kroll Construction on October 21, 2021 to have my roof replaced, my gutters, my facial boards and soffit and any rotten wood or damaged wood. The job was not completed until March 1, 2022. I know that everyone was shortstaffed due to Covid however they did not keep me abreast of when the roof was going to be completed. Since it took them so long to complete the job I had squirrels, raccoons and mice in my house due to the delay of the completion of the work.
They also use my outside plugs instead of their generator which blew a fuse in my basement and my refrigerator went out and I lost food that was in my refrigerator and freezer they did reimburse me for those items but it still was a big headache and and inconvenience to me. I was also told when they wrote the contract that they were going to pull a city permit and they did not because they said they didn't need to however any job over $600 requires that you pull a city permit.
When they wrote the estimate they charged me to pull a permit however they did not pull a permit. I assumed all of this work was gonna be done by one crew however they sent several different crews out here to complete the job. I told them several times that I do not live here and this was my rental property and to call before they came because I keep my gate locked. It was a lot of back-and-forth and a very stressful process to me. I will never use them again nor can I recommend them to anybody

Kroll Construction did a fantastic job installing our new roof. They were courteous, fast and the job was excellent, including the cleanup after. We at extremely pleased and definitely would hire Kroll for any future projects. Services: Gutter repairs, Roof installation, Roof repair, Attic venting repairs, Roof inspection

I had someone come to my door soliciting services and asking me if I was interested in having work done which I am but I am shopping around. The man who came to my door was nice and professional, however come estimate day (scheduled for 5pm) i had 7 missed calls starting at 10am from this individual who was doing the estimate. When he came to my home at 445 and I was still working, he was condescending and rude, and tried to sell me things I wasn't looking to have done, then repeatedly telling me the gutters and awnings are old, that I need new awnings. I am asking about gutters and possible siding. Not awnings. I will not be using kroll even if they turn out to be the cheapest.

We used Kroll Construction to replace our roof almost a year ago. We had a great experience. They did an excellent job overall. We were very happy with the quality of the work, the resulting look of the roof, and have had no problems whatsoever since installation. They completed the actual work in one day despite a surprise extra layer of existing shingles requiring delivery of a second dumpster. Everyone we worked with was professional, responsive, and competent.

My experience with Kroll was excellent. The two fellows doing the blown insulation in the attic were courteous and very mindful that it may have been an old house but the inside remodel was all new. They treated my home with respect: laying down floor protection, keeping insulation hose away from the walls and actually vacuuming up some of the insulation that escaped from a hole in the hose.
I will recommend Kroll to anyone looking for blown insulation. Very pleased that this was the final upstairs project needing to be completed so I can now concentrate on moving in. Thank you Kroll for a job well done!

I would never recommend Kroll to anyone because they do not stand behind the product they sell. They don't take care of warranty work. Once they've completed the job they are done. We had a lifetime warranty roof done 6 years ago. Our roof leaked into our house 4 years later, service department sent someone out, they put some caulk around a vent and said it's all good to go.
Less than a year later, it leaked again from the same area, leaking into my house through the ceiling-gentleman came out same thing and stated that it is fixed and we will never have another problem, he found the problem. Less than a year later the roof is leaking into the house again. We have a bucket in our attic to catch the leaking water. Seriously who has to have a bucket to catch leaking water from a roof that is only 6 years old and has already been repaired 2 times. Called them 6 weeks ago Service department explained that they are short of help someone will be out in 2 weeks.
No one has shown up yet. 6 weeks later and we are still calling them to get someone out. We were told someone would be out today, no show again. We stayed home waiting. My husband spoke with Service department at 7:30 pm (as we now have the cell phone number) he doesn't understand why someone did not show up. Well neither do we. He didn't want me to post this review, I will edit it when our roof is fixed.

Buyer beware. These people pretend to pull you in as though you're in the Kroll family. Don't believe anything they tell you. They are going to charge you more on the back end after they claim it cost them more than the estimate. According to Dave who's supposed to show up as a contractor. I never saw him and when I asked, his crew looked at each other and laughed.
They didn't finish what I asked them to do. I hired them at the end of May '21 for repairs that needed to be done by August 1st. to avoid being dropped from insurance. They didn't finish until late August, or so they say. Dave is just the henchman bill collector that pretends he knows what he's looking at and tells me that's their finished product.
It wasn't what I asked for. They use your information not to check your credit but open up a credit line on you. Same as cash for a year and he called twice a week whining they need to be paid. End result they nailed into rotten wood, charged me for extra wood but refused to produce the itemized bill, nor get my approval. Dave explains they do it all the time.
Just added 1200 to the original bid. Liberty Mutual inspected and still dropped me in October. Spent an additional 1800 to have someone straighten it up. These people aren't worth your time or money. If some one by the name of Trevor shows up, that's where it begins. You'll never hear from him again. He's just there to sell you the world and agree with everything while writing a vague bill to get started. That's it. Don't do it!

Kroll Construction came out and installed new siding, gutters, and a door wall they did an amazing job! Our sales rep Robert was excellent, always prompt and communicated with us throughout the project. The guys that did the installation were very professional and took great care in the work they did we so appreciated all their hard work! I have to say that their customer service is outstanding! Everyone I talked to was kind, returned calls and answered any questions we had about the project. I highly recommend this company!

Very happy with every aspect of the project from Micky Rosner the Sales Rep to the installation crew. Micky was very knowledgeable, helpful and trustworthy. The install crew were fantastic! Both days were 90 degrees and the guys just pushed right through the heat not complaining and did a fantastic job. The clean up was spotless. I had quotes from other local roofing company's and did not feel comfortable with the sales rep's professionalism or pricing. I will refer any friends or family members to Kroll Construction. I don't what kind of work they do because after them calling a few times about a gutter quote, they told me they wouldn't be able to work on the home since I'm not currently living there. They also wanted to know if I owned the home with my husband. I don't. Seriously? This is 2021, I'm not married and women can own homes and schedule work on their own.

Called to find out if they can do a bedroom/bath remodel. They said someone would call us back within 24-48 hours. Several days later we called again to find out why no one had called us and they said "oh there's a note here that we don't have the ability to do a bedroom/bath remodel". Wow. Thanks for calling and letting us know. And what kind of company is this that they can't do this type of project?!
Very pathetic. Meanwhile we've had one company come out and give us a quote and 3 others scheduled. We have many more projects planned for the future so Kroll definitely dropped the ball. Good luck with your business, at this rate based on our experience and others based on reviews, you'll be out of business in no time.

I have no idea if Kroll does good work or not because I couldn't get past the offensive and insulting window sales guy. It was a bizarre meeting overall. I wanted to replace three, beautiful awning windows and the sales guy suggested that I replace them with standard, non-opening windows since, "no one uses them anyway". I told him that I use them almost daily and that I enjoy the fresh air. I stayed calm while the sales guy threw several insults at me.

I had someone come out to give me a quote on a kitchen remodel. They said they would reach back out with a quote in a couple days. It has been a month now and never received my quote. I called and left a message, sent and email and got no response. I guess they don't want my business. Poor job taking care of customers. Should have listened to the reviews before wasting my time.

I would not recommend this company. A gentleman knocked on my door asking to quote and I asked them to quote gutters. He was very friendly but asked if my "husband" was there which is annoying and sexiest, I don't need a "husband" to quote gutters. The next day, the gentleman who came to quote my job was pressuring me to get the business that day and when I told him I had to get another quote to get double check, he repeatedly ensured I would not find a better price.
When I told him, "I don't know that, I have to do my due diligence", he then insulted me. Saying I'm using fancy words and I'm not as smart as I think I am, that I'm a smarta**.

Called for an estimated on 10/13/20 and was given an appt for the next day. I left work early for an appt time for 5pm to 5:30pm. I was called by a man who said his contractor called in sick @ 3:21pm and that he doesn't give estimates for Windows, Gutters but he could give me a virtual estimate for my roof. I was told that I would receive a call back with an estimated within a few hours and now it's 7:15pm. Lets just say I won't be using this company. Very unprofessional and that's why I'm giving this rating.

A gentleman knocked on my door and asked if I was in the market for a new roof, or any upgrades to my home. I told him the only thing I might need done is new gutters. He asked if I would be home the next day for a quote and I was available. He then asked if I was married and if my husband would be home. Yes to married and no to my husband being home the next day.
He then told me that I wouldn't be able to get a quote if my husband wasn't also there. I explained to him that I was recently married (I'm in my early 50's), I am the homeowner, and my husband is not on the title. I also explained that he owns his own home on the other side of the state. The guy tells me he thinks this is going to be a problem.
He calls Kroll and explains the situation. The woman he talked to informed him that they wouldn't be able to come out for a quote if the husband isn't there, but said she'd run it past the owners. I never heard back from Kroll Construction. It's just as well because I would NEVER hire a sexist company like Kroll that chooses to discriminate against women. I've worked very hard for everything I have, am so blessed to be happily married, but I also do not need my man's permission to put new gutters on my house. And especially since I'm the one who will be paying for the job!

I'm spitting mad right now! My husband called Kroll Construction for an estimate on a roof and siding. Tom the salesman was condescending from the minute he walked in the house. He kept saying that prices aren't what they used to be and seemed upset that we had made other appointments for other estimates. After telling us over and over that they wouldn't be the cheapest and us telling him we wanted an estimate I had enough and asked him to leave at which time he called me several names and said I had a big mouth. SHAMEFUL!

I have not used Kroll and will not. My review is based on the sales rep, William, who caught me outside of my home and gave me a flyer before he decided to provide negative remarks about my home to which I ripped up the flyer in his face and went about my day. Is that how Kroll gets business, by making insulting comments? That's a no for me. Based on the other reviews doesn't seem like they have the best reputation around town. Might be helpful to train your sales reps on how approach people.

Now I know why the Sales guy was so eager to get us to commit on the Sunday he came out to my home back in Dec. of last year. We needed a new roof because it was leaking bad over our screened in porch that is totally finished. Fast forward to now they put on the new roof in Jan. and it's not only been leaking but it's worse now than ever before. It's July 22 2019.
We complained over and over but they take days to return calls and are never around when you try to call them back. We have been spun now for over 7 months. A few months ago a guy head of roofing that can not speak very good English came out and used some liquid nails to glue down corner of roof where lea is then through the tube in my back yard and my dog got ahold of it.
He also left the gate open. Well it's still leaking and it's bad. I'm also finding nails all over the place so be careful because you may get a flat tire as well. I really should have read all the terrible reviews before saying yes to these incompetent family owned business. They give companies ran by family a bad name. 10 grand and my roof is leaking still.

I had my bathroom remodeled and I have to say that it was truly a learning experience. Robert was my salesman and he has extremely good taste in remodeling and selling his vision, but has terrible follow up ethics, as soon as the job is sold you wont hear from him unless you call him. Daniel the installer is amazing, his work is phenomenal, it was a lot of miscommunication between the electrician and the installer.
I also didn't get the shower door we originally picked out, nor did they put a towel bar in the shower like we originally discussed, Robert came up with the design and I was very enthusiastic about the project, but if the person that designs something isn't around to tell the installers what his vision is, it's an exercise in futility!

Not a good place to to do buisnas first three weeks after they had to rip out the bathroom and shower floor. Did not draw permits. Electrical done wrong plumbing wrong HVAC wrong. President of kroll was disrespectful and made a threat to me he was talking over me so I told him to shut up he told me to make him. Work done by kroll construction had to be completely gutted and redone by another company

HORRIFIC! AFTER a contract was signed I get a call that it will cost $2000 more. They settled for $1000 if it was paid in cash. The 3 day job was completed in 23 days. NEVER was I told why, or were the workers checked up on until they disappeared on day 21 and I called them to ask why no one was working for a couple days on the trim. With my grass being killed from equipment and supplies sitting on it during the hottest month of the year, grease spilled all over my deck from the barbeque, and the water left on for days until I found it, I'll be paying even more bills.
I was offered $200 for compensation, REALLY! When I balked he raised his voice and rudely told me that he didn't owe me anything but would go no higher than $400 in compensation. 23 days of misery and property damage not to mention the broken contract and rude owner. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
