We were fortunate to find this great company to replace a large section of our cedar roof in Kennett Square. We purchased the house earlier this year and, shortly after moving in, experienced some serious leaking, even though the house is only 10 years old. Everyone at the Cedar Roof Company is professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The installation crew was exceptionally neat and they were excellent craftsman. I could not have hoped for a better outcome!

Beyond disappointed with this company, and would highly recommend NOT using them! Before purchasing our home, we paid Cedar Roof Company to come out and pre-inspect the roof since it's such a large expense to replace and we wanted to know what condition it was in before deciding on purchasing the house. We received a very professional letter reporting they inspected it and certified it was in overall good shape with 8-10 years life left. Solely because of this report stating the roof was in good condition, we purchased this house!
Less than 2 months of owning the house, we began to have water leaking in. When we reached out to this company to have them come out, they were unavailable for a couple days - which we didn't have since water was coming into our kitchen! We had another company come out to do the repair, at which time we were told we were on borrowed time with this roof.
We were shocked to learn this and decided to have another company come out for their opinion - 3 more companies later, all saying the same thing.we needed a new roof now! When we reached back out to Cedar Roof company and told them, they could care less and stood by their findings saying we still had 8-10 years left! With multiple leaks we have had no choice but to have our roof replaced less than ONE year after purchasing the house.
We are super disappointed in this company because not only did we trust them and purchase the home because of their pre inspection report but we also overpaid. Now we are spending over 40K for something we had no intentions of needing to do for a many years! And to make matters worse, the owner of Cedar Roof Company came out to our house and offered to take $100 off a repair bill if we used them for repairs - no thanks! Can't stress enough that this is a very dishonest, unprofessional company that does not deserve anyone's business.

I'm am a real estate professional and asked Cedar Roof Co to evaluate a roof for a buyer. They were extremely helpful in helping the buyer and the seller understand the benefits of a cedar roof, how to repair it and how to properly maintain it. Both the buyer and the seller were very pleased with their work and expertise. I will definitely use them again!
