MNJ Roofing

I have a mansard roof and not every roof company will work on these. Pacific Coast Roofing highly recommended MNJ for the job. Fortunately MNJ is one company who will. We needed someone to come look at a hole in our roof where rodents were coming in. We also wanted someone to look at the age of our roof to see if any other work needed to be done or if it needed replacing. Jun came out after calling them same day.

He brought his ladder and looked at our roof and sealed the hole within 15 minutes! When he was done I asked him how to pay and he said it was ok. He was going to do this for free. I gave him cash and insisted he take it. People like this are hard to come by. I will definitely call them again if we have any other issues or roof replacement!

Very professional and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Replaced my whole roof for $11k (way cheaper than the next closest bidder) and we're very clean.

They have completed three roofing jobs for me. They are fast and Reasonably priced. They came out within a day to give me a quote and start the project within a couple of days and finish the project in about 24 hours. They are great honest company that I will recommend to anyone

I moved in current house a years ago. I have noticed several area that needs some work done. First, I observed moss growing on roof so I contact a few roofing company to inspect. They told me the moss need to be clean or roof need to be replaced. Cost was very high and all kinds of sale talk. Sure enough, this MNJ showed up, explained me why the moss grows and that doesn't need to be cleaned but it will fall off it gets dry and heavy.

Since he is up there to check the roof, he noticed there are some leafs on gutter. He even picked up and cleaned for free. Amazing service, honesty and knowledge. I was very satisfied.

MNJ is a small family-run business. Michael and Jun are both kind, hard-working, and reliable. Both brothers personally overlook and partake in the whole roofing repairing process. These brothers offered the most competitive price I've seen on the market. They told me that their business has been around 30 years, so they know what they're doing! My leaking roof was driving me crazy, but they handled it within their promised time period.

Michael and his brother and crew did a great job replacing 88 years of old roof on our steeply roofed home. They knew what they were doing, had the right equipment and worked diligently to excavate the original layers of roof, prepare the 4x8s and then add the new tiles we selected. They were the most competitively priced, too. I would gladly use them again on another home in the future.

Discovered a leak coming from my roof. On good recommendations I called MNJ Roofing and they were able to adjust their schedule to do the repair before the next rain storm came in. I'm so happy with them. I know they are very busy, but am very thankful they realized how bad a situation it would have been and made accommodations. Good price, fast and efficient work. Leaking roof, called spoke to Michael, made a date, waited and waited! No show! Called to see if they were ever coming, he had no recollection of appointment and no viable explanation as to why. Roof still leaking,

Made an appointment with this contractor to give me a bid on a new roof. He did not show up, nor did he call to cancel. When I contacted him, he said it was a hot day and he was very busy. I am very busy! That is why I made a specific appointment. He wasted my time and therefore, I will not give him another chance.

Michael at MNJ roofing has installed two roofs for me and has done a wonderful job. He worked on a difficult three story apartment building for me in Alameda. It had a steep pitch roof on a historical Victorian building and installed a comp shingle roof on it and has not had any problems. He also put a wood shake roof on a townhouse for me and met the strict HOA requirements.

His roof has lasted over seven years without any problems. Other roofs have had green moss growing, however the roof he installed for me shows little signs of moisture retention. I am very pleased with his work.

I think this is really a good company. It gives great service. I highly recommend you to let them fix your roof. My roof hasn't been broken because the fixed it. Now I don't need to complain or waste more money at all because they fixed it.

From the start M&J roofing was prompt and professional. Michael Song is very knowledgeable when it came to talking about roof systems. He explained the ones that made the most sense in my application and the ones that clearly would not work. I did have different options on which roof type to choose from and I liked that. I was not pushed into one particular product or roof application.

This made it easy for me to decide what type worked for me and the property.

M&J did the work in a timely manner and around a difficult schedule. This way he was sure not to disturb any of the business. Overall my experience was a pleasant one. I will definitely use this company again when I need a re-roof or maintenance.
