DO NOT HIRE. BIGGEST NIGHTMARE JOB EVER. Not even sure where to start. Talk about an absolute nightmare of a company. This "company" was hired by a family member to do a reroof job. The contract was signed in November and was supposed to take a "week or so" and here we are still 6 months later dealing with this. 2 roofing inspectors told me it was done terribly and how it all needs to be redone and one told me it's the worst he's ever seen and how I should take legal action against this company and have the whole thing redone.

The owner has tons of lawsuits against him and his company which you can type on unicourt.com and search up "Greogry Deadren" "Gregory Leroy Dearden" and "weatherproof roofing". Tons of lawsuits against his work, debt collectors after him, evictions. Everything. he's a total scumbag. I'll have no problem reporting him to the contractors board for the multiple violations he committed.

Greg Dearden came to hour property and could have sold me some new facia, but was honest and told me the wood just needed painting. I thought this was very professional. I had some other contractor tell me the wood needed to be replaced and tried sell me something I did not need.

Beware, they use the Christian Fish Symbol and act more like Lucifer. Also, when a company changes their address constantly, that is also a Red Flag. Didn't have a very good opportunity to do background checks/reviews on then when I received a new roof and gutters as my husband had ALS and I was very busy with him. Wouldn't you know almost 1 yr. to the day past the warranty date, on one side of the house, the gutters ripped off of the fascia.

It was a side that is protected and gets very little wind if any so, I'm not sure what would have caused this. When I called to have them come out, the very nice office gal said her owner would call to schedule an appointment once I told them I would pay for the removal of it. I really don't need a gutter on that side of the home so I figured just patch, repair and remove.

So far after numerous calls, I have yet to hear from Greg. Interesting enough my neighbor asked who did my gutters a couple of days later as they are looking for get them. I said, lets wait and see how they handle coming out to fix something first. Bummer, for Greg, my neighbor has a good size home and a much larger office building.

Worst company. STAY AWAY. It's a nightmare working with them. They have terrible workmanship and created leaks all over our roof. Now we need lawyers to deal with the aftermath. Highly unprofessional and dishonest people, especially the owner Greg Dearden. They should not be in business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a very bad experience right after I made the final payment. I made the mistake paid them the final balance before getting the final lien released. I got a lien from the company delivered the roof shortly after I made the final payment because they did not pay the roof material delivered to my address. I had to call Greg multiple times to resolve the lien issue.

I did not write the review back then because his did solved the issue and I gave the company a chance for short of cash flow or over site of their payment process. But I must write this review to warn other as I had my roof done in 2016 not because it was leak but because I wanted a newer roof before installing the solar system so I don't have to replace them shortly after the solar is installed.

I found the leak this past Thanksgiving because they did not install the flat roof area correctly causing the leak to the edge of the wood causing my fascia hanging down so just the gutters are holding the fascia now. After many called and wait for weeks, they finally sent Efren out to look at the problem and disputed that they did it correctly and want to charge me $2,200 for the correction of the fascia and repair which they should be responsible for most of the cost and labor. They refuse to send the break out of how they came up with the $2,200 to repair a 20 foot fascia.

Had a very nice experience with them. Greg came out, assessed our roof and suggested a way to repair it that was much less expensive than his company could do and, in his opinion, would most likely solve our leaking problem.

I spent big money for the Presidential shingles and 50 year warranty. They suggested I add gutters so I did. However the gutters were not installed correctly resulting in water being splashed onto the roof during the heavy rains and a leak. When I called I was told the owner could come out next week. I got the repair done to stop the leak and hoped they would honor their work and shoulder at least a part of the cost - WRONG!

The owner didn't even show up and I received a voicemail saying he was declining the job because the gutters were not his responsibility- even though they sold them to me and installed them. I don't like to wish anyone bad luck, but I cannot imagine this company staying in business when they do not take responsibility for their work. Disappointed in Pasadena

My husband and I had such a great experience with Weatherguard and the communication and service was excellent. We really felt they took their time to understand exactly what we needed, helped educate us about different options and completed the job in a timely manner. We have referred weatherguard to multiple friends and family who all have beautiful results and are very pleased. Great company to work with!

CROOKS!These guys are crooks. Do not use them! I had a leak in my roof. They came out and gave me an estimate. After "completing the job" the leak continued. When they came back they informed me that they had miss diagnosed the problem and that I needed a chimney repair guy. So I spent $1200 on nothing and they refused to fix the problem or give me back my money. CROOKS!

We had a full roof replacement, with quite a bit of dry-rotted wood that also needed replacing. And we bought gutters. They were done in only 4 days, and everything looks nice. They were nice to my dogs, and clean. They were cheaper than three other bids. I was also having some landscaping done, and they took care to protect the work in progress by my other contractors. I would hire them again.

Don't work with this company! Their bids might be reasonable, but their work and customer service STINKS! I hired them because they offered a great bid and were very friendly! After the gutters were put up, I discovered their workers SMASHED over a dozen tiles on my roof! These tiles weren't just cracked they were smashed into many pieces!

It tooks weeks and weeks of calling for them to come out and address the situation. A few weeks later, they sent someone to look. Then a few weeks later they claimed they would send someone to fix it they never came out because they would schedule me at the end of their work days. When they finally came out, they removed the broken tiles and rearranged the good ones.

But clearly more tiles are needed because there are many gaps, large portions of silver sheeting is visible (which were originally covered with tile) and the roof is exposed to the elements! Good roofers know this is NOT the way to tile a roof! So disappointing. I hope you don't experience the same thing!
