I had a wonderful experience using Westshore Roofing, Inc. for a complete roof and gutter installation project for my home. This was my first time taking on a re-roofing project and the entire team from Westshore made the process enjoyable and easy. Steve Pustelnik was very knowledgeable, professional, hands on, and most importantly honest. He took the time to explain all aspects of the reroofing process to me in detail and answered all my questions, which I truly appreciated. Steve made sure to check in with me throughout the project and kept me informed of where we were and how things were proceeding. Rob, the project manager, was communicative and responsive and provided me with lots of details of what to expect during the re-roofing process. Hector and crew, did a fantastic job with the demo and complete installation.

They were hardworking, courteous and respectful of the property. I will definitely use Westshore again and refer to family and friends. Thanks for making this experience such a positive one.

We reached out to four roofing companies to quote our re-roofing project. We compared them on professionalism, quote thoroughness, feeling of trust and integrity with the salesperson, and knowledge. Westshore ranked highest hands down. They were not the cheapest, nor were they the highest bid, but they were the best. We felt so comfortable with Ben, and rather than try to upsell us as others did, he helped us figure out ways we could get the job done within our budget.

The quote offered several options which was quite helpful in our choices. During our decision period, we had several questions and he responded immediately every time. When it came time for the work, the crew was always on time and professional. They cleaned up and you could barely tell they were even here at the end of the day. We were glad to see that the crew was able to take several water breaks (in nearly 100-degree heat) and time off for lunch and they still finished the job ahead of schedule. It showed us that Westshore takes care of their crews. We highly recommend Westshore Roofing.

I got my GAF Solar roof done through Westshore Roofing in partnership with GAF Energy after canceling Tesla Solar. Ben came to my place, set the expectations and showed off the example of how the new solar shingle looks like and the estimate cost. He was very accommodating, especially with us in our unique situation because we had stucco wall project work done simultaneously.

The work includes roof demolition, adding additional plywood, tiger pay underlayment, installing a new gutter, and finally the solar roof. We are one of very few early adopters GAF Solar roof. The owner provided a reply to the review and I have to set some things straight. This trim/flashing he says he absorbed the pricing for is his workers fault and he should indeed pay for it. When I was given the estimate I was told they would save it to be used again. Its metal. When they removed it, it was literally ripped off my roof thus destroying it.

As they were clearly beginning to start applying the new tile I asked the "foreman" about it and he knew nothing about it or that it was to be saved. He knew nothing about it being replaced. When I told him that I was told they were to save is and use it again, he again said he knew nothing about it. The following day I walked out and he motioned to me and said he had spoken to his boss and that's when I was informed that they would indeed be replacing it cause they destroyed it and shouldn't have so that was how they were fixing their error.

When this paul guy says "he called me with a daily update" that isn't true. He never called me, not once. I on the other hand called them and after talking to receptionist or my alleged job foreman (I guess everyone is a foreman or project manager there cause I had one sitting behind a desk there and another here at my home) I usually ended up getting transferred to this paul guy, apparently the owner and rather sensitive male, and that is the only way I got an update.

I called them and they never called me, not daily, not ever once the job started. As more and more $$$ was being added the the project I called multiple times for a bill or invoice and they always found ways to never supply it. I was promised that some "person" in accounting would email it to me, multiple times but that never happened. After a couple calls I finally got someone to send me something by email.

His break in pricing for supplies are like multiple times more expensive than if I provided it myself so he is greatly exaggerating that he gave me a fair price in materials. The initial bid was good but what I had the deal with after was a horrible experience I would never wish on anyone, not even my worse enemy.

By far the best experience with my entire home remodel. During a whole house remodel, we came across an issue with the existing roof over the garage. The roof was not properly supported when the house was built in 1957 and was sagging and causing the kitchen wall to be pulled out of alignment. Before the remodel could continue the old roof had to be pulled off to illuminate the extra weight in order for the garage roof to be jacked up and put back into place.

Because of the time constraints of the job, this needed to be done in a very timely manner as it was in the middle of winter. I reached out to Westshore roofing and they were so responsive, they came out the next day and gave me a bid. The following day ripped off all of the old roofing, so that the repairs could be done to the joists. Once the repairs were done they were very flexible with our schedule at coming back to finish putting on the new roof, they finished literally one day before a huge storm.

They were extremely professional and honest with the work that needed to be done. Great people, great service at a great price. I would (and have) highly recommend Westshore Roofing for all roofing needs. P.S. they even came back to add a new gutter to the new addition, well after they had completed the roof.

I believe the people at this company are roofing experts as well as people with integrity. My call into WestShore Roofing was for a second opinion on a challenge we faced with a low-slope curved porch that we have in our entryway. We had just got the roofing done by someone else. I have to say "hats off" to the professionalism and domain expertise that was exhibited by the person on the other end of the phone (I assume it was the owner). This, especially when it was clear there was no promise of a business outcome. He responded to all my questions which helped me decide on the next steps with confidence. Re-roofing your home is a major project with a large price tag, so you want to be confident the people you've chosen to do the job are professional, dependable, and competent. We chose Westshore Roofing as our contractor, and we were not disappointed. They offered a range of solutions and explained the pros and cons of each option. They provided a reasonable estimate and stuck to it.

Their workers were prompt, careful, and cleaned up the work site every day before leaving. The final result is a beautiful roof that increases the curb appeal of our home significantly. Westshore was always responsive to our questions during the project. Our sole complaint is extremely minor - it would have been preferable for Westshore to be more proactive in informing us of what to expect during the schedule; they were always responsive when we called them, but it would have been better if they contacted us instead of the other way around. Overall, I recommend Westshore Roofing highly.

Westshore Roofing just put a new roof and a complete gutter system on my house. I have other two quotes with lower estimates but I finally chose Westshore Roofing since Ben came to us with very professional inspection, best presentation with catalog of beautiful shingles and gutters. He explained very technically detailed in every choice I pick with pros and cons.

Unlike other offers with only a couple pages without knowing detailed techical, costs for comparisons. I am glad to pick Westshore Roofing. Our new roof looks great with Chateau Green Shingles and beautiful marine green gutter. We are really apprrciate the roof team leaded by Hector and the gutter team with their detailed and hard work. Hired Westshore Roofing in April 2021 to repair leaks from roof and to install new attic fans and gutters all around the house. Paul was amazing to communicate with. super responsive and professional and gave us the right inputs on what should be done. I wanted to wait through a winter/rainy season to make sure everything stood up to the weather and it sure did. would highly recommend Paul and his crew for any roof or gutter related work.

Had them do a roof repair a few years ago. Recent storm and it leaked quite a bit in same spot. Called them to ask about coming out again and fixing my leak. Was told they would call back in a couple days to schedule. No call back. Called again after 2 weeks and spoke with them - they said again they would call back in a couple days to schedule. Same story, no call back. Seems their work and they ability to manage expectations and deliver on promised follow up are lacking.

Update: just pick another roofing, 2 years later, I'm extending my house, called this business to ask for supplier for the gutter they installed on my roof as my contractors need to extended the roof, they refused to give me info and keep saying their roofing guys will need to come out to check the property for a fee for the info. What this tell you is that, you should have 0 expectation after you pay if you choose to work with them, they didn't do a good job at first, doing worst after, lots of businesses out there, just try a different one for peace of mind.

2.x years ago, Westshore replaced the roof and added gutter guards. All were done in the same job by the same roofer. Forward to a few weeks ago. There was a big rainstorm and some of the gutter guards snapped out of the gutters. I called Westshore and the answerer left a message for Vingo, manager for the gutter team (I had not known there was a gutter team). Vingo came and said if the gutter guards were installed better, they wouldn't have snapped out.

I was impressed by his honesty and responsibility for the work his team didn't even do. He then sent over 2 persons from his team - Luise and Mohammed (excuse the spelling if wrong) - and they were super awesome! They told me they will fix as best as they can. And when they were done with the entire house, I saw a difference! Previously, the finished work looked rounded on top, like a bubble.

But now, they look flat against the gutter and feel solid. Many thanks. 5 stars. (Digression: About the project manager responsible for my job 2.x years ago. I didn't feel this person did a good job managing my project but I didn't say it to the company at that time. Therefore, I am not surprised if this person had not pulled in the proper team to install the gutter guards.) 5 stars to Vingo's team and to Westshore for standing by your company's work.

Very responsive & competitive prices. Was quoted $22k to reroof with presidential shingles and replace old cedar roof. Others tried to tell me that $35k or $45k was a great deal. Very honest and responsive. Highly recommend!

Westshore roofing replaced my roof, gutters, added Suntunnels and extra insulation in 2012. It's been 9 years and my roof still looks great. The warranty expires in 6 months so they willingly came out and fixed a few items that came up on an inspection report for a very small fee. I could not have been happier that they stood by their work. I hired them back in 2012 because they did my neighbors roof and they were very pleased, had great references, and the price was fair.

Come to find out they also re-did my in-laws roof many years ago. The only thing I'd do differently was to go with rolled insulation rather than blown in insulation. I am very happy and would use them again. I appreciate honest companies that stand by their work. This seems to be a rare trait these days.

This is my second roof installation performed by Westshore Roofing. My family is very satisfied with the quality of work, customer service and competitive prices. Paul and his staff are honest and believe in business integrity. The quality of work is guaranteed and Paul stands behind any issue that might arise. Went from not starting on time to dragging out getting my detached garage roof complete. Job took 2 months and still not completed with failed inspection and shingles on the sides don't match my house roof. Cap metal was never painted to match roof either. Horrible experience! Would not recommend them at all. Job is still not complete. Very unprofessional.

My experience with Westshore Roofing was very positive. Our estimator, Steve, was pleasant, informative, and helpful. He stayed in touch with us throughout the project to keep us updated on next steps. The crews were polite and arrived on time. Work was finished relatively quickly - we did have a few delays due to a minor misunderstanding. However, Paul, the owner, did a great job keeping us updated on the delay and communicating next steps.

Our needs and concerns were heard, taken seriously, and responded to quickly. Ultimately, although the job took a little longer than expected, I am very pleased with the work done by Westshore and their dedication to communication and customer satisfaction.

Honest, professional, and efficient company. We got some fixes done to our roof and new gutters. Westshore roofing are experienced and did a great job. This is my 2nd roof job with the company, Sales/Terry continues to provide me the proposal with quality and time to complete. Even with covid-19, they are able to provide the proper materials and keep the schedule. Job site is always clean and organized from time to time. My house is 40+ years with old roof tile, for some reasons there were no plywood/tar paper. it was hot during the summer.

While WFH due to covid-19, and I started to realize the heat. Sales/Terry proposal to include OSB/Radiant Barrier, Sticky Undelayment and proper Ventilation. Now my house has comfortable room temperature! Now when I share photos with families and friends, they all surprised with new looking! Also thanks to Office/Robert coordination to get job done. I also enjoy lunch with both excellent roofers Hector and Ramon! Both are very patient to answer my daily queries.

As someone who recently had a new roof installed by Westshore Roofing and is now facing major issues, here are some words of advice before getting a new roof from any installer. 1. Ask the roofers if your house is in condition to undergo the installation. We were never told that installing a new roof might cause damage to our home. I am not talking about items falling out of cabinets, but damages to rafters and trusses which are serious.

The roofer inspected our roof prior and never told us that our home wouldn't withstand the process. The contract you sign will protect them from any responsibility. 2. If your home is found unfit to handle a new roof, ask if they can make the appropriate repairs or point you to a company that can. After we discovered the issues to our home, we asked Westshore if we could hire them or someone they knew to make the repairs.

They answered no to both. Now we are scrambling to find a company that can. 3. Ask for the worst case scenario when replacing your roof deck. We were told that it might cost a few hundred dollars, but we ended up paying over $1500. We now know deck repair alone can cost several thousand dollars. Some of you are probably shaking your head, thinking we should have done more research and you are right.

That is why we are making this post to keep others from experiencing what we are going through. Positives: the contractors who did the work were really friendly and seemed like good people.

BE WARNED! Large Debris and trash left after roof work! It's in their contract that roof debris is not the companies responsibility. But garbage and large pieces of material? On top of that their workers/contractors stepped on our air ducts resulting in poor air flow. The company should have at least picked up the large pieces and should have cut the plywood prior to installing vs. up on the roof.

They didn't tell me that debris includes garbage (e.g. plastic bottles of water, paper) in addition to the large pieces of plywood with foil, tar paper, and saw dust a lot of it was left in our attic. This work was done in Jan 2018 and my son and I started to suffer from allergies and asthma. We thought that our air ventilation air ducts was the problem and we have a professional take a look.

The hvac professional pointed out that the debri and saw dust left up in the attic after the work was causing our respiratory issues and poor air flow was the result of some of the air ducts was damaged and or stepped on. I am very disappointed with the response after I reported the issue. The least that this company should do during the work was pick up the visible large pieces and the garbage left by their workers and sub contractors.

Also they should think about how they cut the plywood if they already know how messy the work will be. Lastly they should supervise their workers/subcontractors. See my attached pictures then I will let you decide if you would like to go with this company. I just posted this because it was my first time seeing this when we had the hvac guy check it. Imagine that we have dealt with this since Jan 2018. The one star is for the process and reasonable price. Bu

I wrote a review 6 years ago with 3 stars due to some communication & speed issues. But it was resolved well. Be sure to have new gutters PRIMED (not just "bonderized" ) before/with installation. Much easier to do when they're on the ground, and necessary if you will want to paint them. Anyway, 6 or 7 years later, the roof looks good as new, and no leaks.

With a 7 years labor and 50 years material warranty, I did not need to rush to write a review. But now that Coronavirus is keeping me from going anywhere, so here we go. Westshore Roofing replaced my wood shake roof in February 2019. My experience proved that they are a professional and trustworthy company. If you are looking for a wood shake roof, I believe their pricing is very competitive.

The project did not go without issues. There was a little miscommunication with their sales team and Paul quickly stepped in and resolved the issue. The rain did not stop for weeks and they were able to find a few dry days to get the job started. The insulation got wet because of a delayed city inspection and an unexpected morning drizzling rain. I was able to contact Westshore at 5am and they immediately sent someone to cover the roof.

They then responsibly replaced the insulation at no cost to us. The way they handled problems was how they earned my respect and trust. At the end, they completed a beautiful job on time and within my budget. When you find your hot water heater leaking, you can usually find someone responding to you in minutes and installing a new unit in hours. You will then happily write a 5-star Yelp review.

But when you need a warranty service a few months later, you may find that the same company is not that responsive anymore. I can assure you that Westshore is not one of those companies.

On February 19, I filed a lawsuit with their company. Because of my poor English proficiency and my inexperience in courts, the information I prepared was not sufficient, the court ruled my losing the case, but I refused to accept the judgment. It is also shown that they are often lawsuit experts. The more abominable thing is that they tampered with the original contract signed between our two parties when presenting it in the court and they added words to their favor. (If the merchant is not satisfied, the original evidence can be taken out.

See if there are any changes), the other sales person even threatened me, saying that the warranty will mess me up in the future, this behavior is too bad, now they said to give me 400 dollars if I take this comment off. I rejected since I want more people know my experience, do not choose this bad business!

Sven and team are top notch. I needed new gutters installed on my house. Sven came out to give the estimate. He was great and the work went as planned. Once the rainy season hit I noticed a problem with the gutters across the front of my porch. I have two gutters that run perpendicular to each other and the upper one dumps onto the roof above the porch (lower) gutter.

I think the water coming off the upper gutter isn't going into the lower gutter as it seems to sheet off creating a stream of water that splashes on the porch and onto anyone walking by. I texted Sven to see if someone can take a look to see if an adjustment can be made. He sent someone out to make some adjustments, tested the solution and even sent me a video showing me the fix and the results. Excellent service, communication, and followup!
