Understand this about the inspection for sale process - the inspection reports are often not about reality - they are about preventing the inspector from being sued.
Nobody wants to spend their money on the roof. I am certainly no exception. I would much rather put that money aside for a new RV, boat, car, washer/dryer set or a thousand other things - anything besides the roof! Hired Cedartech to do some repair and maintenance on a 16 yo Cedar Roof. Some split and worn out shingles and cracked pipe boots. Estimate was quick and they were able to fit us in within a few days. Wasn't a big job but dealing with Carlie and Austin was real easy. Will call them again in 2-3 years when we need to have our roof treated. Definitely recommend!

Cedartech did a fantastic job cleaning and restoring out aged cedar roof. Now it looks great! Both the crew and the office staff were very professional and it's pretty clear they know what they are doing. The crew was very well organized, neat and polite. Kevin, Clint and the crew did a phenomenal job on our roof repairs. We had another well known company that does a lot of radio advertising come out to give us a bid and looking at the same areas that were leaking - Kevin and Clint found another area that the other company missed and would have caused more damage if not repaired. The crew was on time, respectful, and did a perfect job on the three large areas that needed repaired. We also had them clean and protect our roof. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They've earned our business for life.

We recently purchased a house with a thick cedar roof with no maintenance records. We knew that cleaning and treating were required for these type of roofs and found CedarTech. They came out quickly after the call, went up to look at the roof and to get us a quote. The price seemed right and description of what it needed was thorough. It was the busy season but we got the work scheduled in a reasonable amount of time.
Upon arrival the workers noticed a broken skylight, which they were able to source and repair at the same time. Overall we had a skylight replaced, the roof cleaned and treated, a dish removed and shakes replaced where needed, also they cleaned and tested the gutters. All two days before a giant rain storm! They got the job done in one day and the roof looks great. Have even received several complements from the neighbors as to the work done and the look of the roof after. Will absolutely use again.

I've used CedarTech for 2 homes with cedar shakes and I really like how their Cedar Silver product cleans and protects the roof, and it looks great. In Sept. 2016 CedarTech did a partial re-roof of my house. They used high-quality #1 cedar shakes from Canada and they did the job on time and on schedule and at the price quoted even though they had to do some extra flashing around my chimney. I was very pleased and I would highly recommend them for routine preventative treatment and for re-roofing.

We have used Cedartech a couple times before this year and where happy with the work. But this year it was not good and not getting any better. They came and did work but I was not happy. They came out and looked at the job and said it was not good. They then sent a new crew out and repaired what the first crew did and cleaned the gutters( which the first crew did not do).
While doing the repairs of the first crew they found more work that needed to be done. I agreed to pay for the new work and they said they will spray what they did that day when they come back. So I paid what the wanted for the job. The contract was signed 3/31/15. It is now 12/10/15 and no one has come back to spray what they did or to do the repairs that they said needed to be done.
Also I have now had to clean 3 of the gutter down pipes that where pluged with wood from the roof. And I just found another today. None of them had had leaves just wood from the roof. We will not be using Cedartech again and will be paying someone to come and clean the rest of the gutters. Not sure what changed with this company but something has and not for the better.
