Aspen Contracting

Had a signed contract with Aspen and from the start they did nothing they said they would do. They were to order materials and deliver to our house an install when we returned after an extended leave. Upon returning home, no materials were ordered and called multiple times over several weeks to get an answer as to what was going on and got no return calls from my sales representative or general manager. Decided to call the home office in Missouri to voice my complaint and secretary took my call back information and said the owner would follow up with me.

I have heard nothing. Finally got a hold of my sales representative and he finally told me that they would not be doing my job as they were busy with houses in the southern part of my state. Went to my local office that I had been to previously and found out that the office was moved to another city.

Really enjoyed meeting this team today! I had no idea they also do concrete, masonry and carpentry jobs, even smaller jobs! Can't wait to work with them in the future.

I Really enjoyed the young couple Madison and Hayden. They were very honest, ethical, and warm-hearted people from the get. I am glad I chose Aspen Contracting for our roof replacement because I was in a stressful life situation and the last thing I needed to be in was a bad situation. I was impressed with the clean up afterwards and no bulls*** service provided by Aspen Contracting for the entirety of the job.

We used Aspen after a hail storm in our area. We were ensured that our roof, guttering, and siding would be replaced and the job completed within two weeks. FOUR MONTHS later we are finally trying to wrap things up with this company. We repeatedly were told things were completed when they weren't. Then we had to wait to have a crew come out to "complete the job" that would still end up not being done.

Their crew left trash in our yard from their lunches that we had to ask that they pick up after themselves. After asking them to submit a final invoice to our insurance company for months so we could just be done, they finally did. They sent a final invoice to us to pay on a Monday, called and Tuesday to ask when we were paying, then mailed a certified letter on Wednesday saying if we didn't pay within 10 days they were putting a lien on our home!

After we had asked them to wrap this up for months they expected final payment in two days! When we called to ask what was going on, we were told that the second project manager we worked with reported that we said we weren't going to pay our bill. Mind you, we never had a single financial conversation with that man. Overpromised and underdelivered for sure. Total disappointment and the worst part is now we are stuck with them as our roof is under warranty. Save yourself the headache and having to take time off work.

Had a roof replaced and that part was perfectly fine and roof looks good. Salesman suggested as a money saving measure to just clean and seal gutters as she indicated she had inspected and they were in good shape with only superficial damage and she knew we had a competitive bid. We went ahead with the cleaning/sealing and now 4 months later at least one gutter is leaking.

I asked for someone to at least come inspect and reseal or advise the situation. Salesman would not respond initially and abrupt when she finally did. Company said they don't warranty gutter sealing and we should have never sealed older gutters? The problem is the salesman SUGGESTED the sealing process to begin with? We were not even aware that was something that could be done.

She also and failed to mention the lack of warranty but got the business because this measure brought her price below competition. We're now on our own to figure out the gutter situation. Disappointing,

We are extremely pleased with our experience with Aspen. We dealt with Colby Cash. It was a great, easy and professional experience dealing with him. He detected considerable hail damage to the shingles due to a storm, and was very helpful in coordinating interactions with our insurance company. The work was completed in about 10 hours on one day by an excellent crew, in spite of a complicated and steep roof.

I had a closing coming soon and needed some roof repairs immediately. Aspen was the only company in the area to respond right away. Someone was at the house the next day and the roof was repaired within the week. They were very attentive to my every need and the communication was great. They were extremely professional and courteous. I had never heard of Aspen but they treated me like I was a lifelong customer.

After consulting with 5 different roofing companies, finding Aspen was frankly, a relief. Ross was honest and forthcoming, the price was better than most and the product was better. Plus, a warranty that covered the life of the roof with no fine print. The work was done efficiently and on time. We would happily recommend Aspen to anyone.

Our Church in Independence Missouri was constructed in 1888; this is the church where President Harry S. Truman met his future wife. At that time of construction we had a slate roof and did so through the years until in the 1950's when we had our 1st asphalt shingle roof put on, we have 2 steeples the tallest being about 130 ft. high. Aspen Roofing reroofed our church and steeples, this being the 1st time all thee shingles match.

What a fantastic job they did, very through throughout. The superintend we had was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the work. They replaced the copper gutter, There was never any problem when we had a special service. The yard was kept clean, the material stacked and out of the way. I would give them very a high rating.

One of the worst customer experiences of my life. They said it would only take a few days to complete my roof. This took more than 2 weeks "due to weather" even though it only rained a couple of days. Trash and tarps were left on our yard for this period and we had to start completely over with our grass. 4 bushes were damaged and one was flattened to the level of the sidewalk.

Our pond was filled with shingles and had to be drained. Old gutters were taken off and it took 2 months to for them to complete the new gutters. We live next to the woods and parts of the old gutter were found in the woods. Trash was left in the yard. IT TOOK 12 WEEKS from the start of the job before the waste was removed from the driveway. Phone calls were and texts were never returned. It wasn't until it was time to collect the talked to me and were extremely rude. One supervisor even insinuated that I was making things up.
