The manufacturers that produce the roofing materials we install are much more than vendors; they are partners. They provide input for our recommendations, process and load our orders with care and educate our foremen and installers during training on new materials or for warranty certification. But most of all, we value the quality and integrity of the roofing materials and supplies they manufacture for the commercial roofs we install or repair.
We have been specifying and installing commercial membrane roofs in Connecticut for nearly half a century. We have seen the industry evolve from built-up tar and gravel roofs to the current form of single-ply EPDM, PVC and TPO membrane roofing. When it comes to synthetic plastic polymer membrane roof systems, we use three primary materials: EPDM, PVC and TPO.
We have recommended and installed hundreds of commercial EPDM single-ply roofs in Connecticut during the last three decades. EPDM Roofing is synthetic rubber and is a very popular flat roofing membrane; it maintains its strength over time, is resistant to thermal shock and UV rays and can last up to 30 years.
While most people associate PVC with modern plumbing, its durability and flexibility have made it a popular commercial membrane roof material for decades. PVC roofing exhibits excellent weathering characteristics and is highly resistant to harsh chemicals and industrial pollutants. What's more, it's an environmentally friendly material that is easy to maintain.

"We have significant experience working with Danny Young and the team at Quality Roofing Services. They have installed Hundreds of Thousands of square feet of EPDM roofing on a variety of buildings for us. I view them as being an incredibly capable organization; they always meet and exceed our every expectation. The fact that we've used them for multiple projects speaks volumes about our faith in them as a commercial roofing subcontractor.
We look forward to our next job with Quality Roofing Services!" So when they were doing business as Connecticut Roofcrafters, I hired Michael Young to reroof my home. The job was done professionally and I have no complaints about that. But.the reason for the low rating is because he still owes me for something I paid for. The job was completed in the fall of 2012. I paid for an enhanced lifetime roof warranty but have yet to receive any official paperwork on it after many phone calls and emails. Also, a protective cap on the stack vent was to be replaced because it was accidentally discarded, and I have yet to see a replacement.
It took 3 months for him to send someone to fix my microwave because debris fell down the vent opening on the roof and jammed the microwave fan. I recently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and he does not return their calls and letters either. They are going to re-rate this business or suspend them from membership. What does that tell you?
