Once we decided it was time to replace our aging roof, we began researching roofing companies. Personally, I was more interested in reputation than price, so I was looking for a company with excellent reviews, was in good standing with the State Contractors License Board, and had a favorable Better Business Bureau rating. We found all of those things with Signature Roofing, and after receiving bids from a few roofing companies, we decided to award the contract to Signature.

I don't regret that decision for a minute. P.J., William, and Walter were all a pleasure to deal with, the entire crew was professional, courteous and friendly. They showed up early every day and cleaned up at the end of every day. One way I measure a company is how they handle problems. As with all jobs, a few problems surfaced along the way with this job too, but William was very quick to respond and remedy whatever the problem was in a timely manner.

He answered every email and text message promptly. Our new roof looks great (we decided on the Presidential TL shingle in Autumn Blend), and I would not hesitate to recommend Signature Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof.

Signature replaced my roof last summer and I am 100% satisfied. This review is overdue! I will start with 5 stars and come back with a bit more details.

My friend recommended Signature Roofing to me and I saw they have great reviews in google and yelp. I also got an estimate from another top company but Signature Roofing's price is much more reasonable. William, my project coordinator is the best. My simple project turned out to be more difficult due to a lot of dry rot and rotted beams where he had to get more crew to work them to keep up the schedule.

He kept me posted on the progress and what was coming up. He juggled things to weatherproof my stucco repair before rain came in. My city inspector came for a final inspection and told me I select the right company because signature roofing is one of the best. : They are truly professional and I would highly recommend them.

Working with Signature Roofing was seamless, starting with the bid process through to the final inspection. We needed the roof of our San Carlos home re-done (first time I've had a roof re-done). I contacted 3 different roofing contractors for quotes. Signature was, by far, the most thorough and professional of the group. They did an outstanding job thru the process which only re-affirmed that it was a good decision. William Cotter was my interface and he was super responsive and always delivered on the commitments he made (for himself and Signature).

I had a question regarding a bathroom vent and the crew popped the panel and took photos / video so I could see how it looked which I greatly appreciated. All around great job. While I hope not to have to do anything else to the roof for the next 30 years, I know that I will only come to Signature.

A little expensive compared to the competition, but incredibly thorough, professional, and great communicators. We needed our shingle roof + gutters replaced after 25+ years on a single-family home, and picked Signature Roofing after reviewing quotes from a couple of well-recommended suppliers. Their quote was higher, but they were much better able to explain options, discuss alternatives, and make recommendations that we believed.

The work was done extremely well - including fixing up some old rotted woodwork, bolstering some sagged rafters, adding venting, and reusing our existing (slightly strange) downspouts. There was one small hiccup we encountered on the first rain, which they fixed within a day - probably due to a bad original install of a skylight (i.e., not their fault).

These guys were the ultimate professionals from start to finish. I had my roof replaced by them in 2019, and figured I'd wait a while prior to writing a review just in case something went wrong -- and nothing has. :) From the detailed quote process (not just all the information, including projects they'd done in my neighborhood, but also number & placement of vents), to the scheduling & installation, and follow-up, everything was perfect.

They also helped coordinate my solar removal -- and the one & only thing that might have been better would have been if they could have also handled the solar de/re-install. Maybe they do now -- in the future, re-roofs with existing solar will be much more common. Thanks, Signature Roofing!

It is always a daunting task when you need to find someone to perform a big project around your house that you can't perform yourself. That is why, we feel so fortunate to have found and worked with Signature Roofing on our re-roofing project. Our roof was over 30 years old, the majority of the house was double roofed so we knew that would require a lot of extra work to remove.

The project lasted about 5~6 days which included old roof removal, installation of new roof, flashing and gutters, inspections and cleanup. The cleanup was very thorough and the area surrounding our house looked cleaner then before the project started, no nails to worry about. From our 1st appointment with PJ to the final city inspection, we felt like Signature Roofing was with us every step of the way.

We received daily progress emails or calls from William which was helpful and reassuring to know what was going on and if there were any issues found. Thank you PJ, William and all of your hardworking roofers who helped us convert our old wood shake roof into an asphalt shingle roof, we couldn't be any happier with our new roof and gutters too. From selecting the composite material to gutter type and downspout color, Signature Roofing made the decisions simple with practical answers to my many questions. Throughout the process, they kept me updated day by day about what progress had been made and what to expect the next day. The quality of the job was quickly tested and passed without question in our late October rain storm. I'm very happy that I selected this vendor based on a neighbor's recommendation, and I've already had the pleasure of recommending the firm to two different homeowners.

Signature roofing did a great job replacing our roof. They stripped off our old roof for both the house and garage and had it replace in about 3 days. They also coordinated new gutters and a new skylight. Everything went per plan. They were very professional and friendly so easy to work with. We could not be happier and would recommend them to friends.

Signature Roofing recently completed our re-roof project two months ago. Our original decking was laid when the house was built in 1961! As expected, there was quite a bit of wood rot. Signature Roofing was the first quote I received. I have a few neighbors that hired them, and I have to say, I was impressed with the level of detail that PJ, their estimator, paid to examining our roof.

After his visit, I knew exactly what needed to be done, what all the associated cost would be, where potential concerns could be once the project started, and that my roof would be 100 percent safe and ready for another 30 to 40 years! All in all, the roof inspection from Signature lasted almost 45 mins, and I really felt my project was important to them.

I did receive subsequent quotes from two other recommended roofing companies, but they didnt come close to the experience I had with Signature. The quote I received from Signature was the highest of the three, but the other bids didnt take into account all the details Signature did, and didnt seem to grasp the scope and depth of my project. After contracting with Signature, I received my detailed contract, timeline for my project, and they also provided copies of their business and insurance documents!

The experience with Signature continued to get even better as my project was handed off to one of their supervisors, William. He coordinated the entire project, and kept me informed of every detail and aspect of my job. Signature's team of roofers work for Signature, so no sub-contracting! They were timely, courteous, professional, and patient with my family's coming and goings while they worked.

All in all, 4 days after my project started, I had a beautiful, brand new roof and gutters! In closing, Signature sets the bar high for other Roofing companies to follow. I believe you if youre shopping for a roofing company for your re-roof, you only need to go with Signature.once you deal with them, you'll see what I mean.

My 88 y.o. mother-in-law had a leak near her stove vent. Another company told her the entire roof needed to be replaced because it was old and failing. We called Signature and they came out to give us a FREE quote (many roofers are now charging for the quote). PJ told us the roof probably has 3-5 years life left in it and possibly more. He said the leak is most likely at the flashing and seal.

That is total HONESTY given that Signature Roofing does not do repair work, they only replace entire roofs. The other guy, not so honorable. PJ saved my mother-in-law well over $20K. When the time comes to replace our roof Signature Roofing will be our one and only call. We saved your number PJ.

I had done my homework and has several bids to install a new roof on my home. During this time of COVID it was especially difficult. From the very beginning I felt the most comfortable with Signature Roofing. PJ took the time to explain all of the steps and what to expect. When it actually came time for the work to be done, I was very lucky to have William updating me constantly on what was being done.

They started on Monday and with a threat of rain they worked so hard to have everything complete by late Wednesday afternoon. Kudos to them. They were efficient, clean and from what I can see very skilled. I am very please with my decision to use them.

We've hired many contractors over the years. Rarely if ever, do I write reviews on Yelp. However, if you need a new roof Signature Roofing is simply the best in the business. From demolition of the old roof to installation, this team is amazing. William kept me apprised every step of the way. They simply have this down! Plus post installation the property is left spotless. Granted, they are not cheap. But the old adage you get what you pay for applies here. Highly recommend. We researched quite a bit on roofers and saw work done by Mr. George Belden, which was excellently done; not always easy these days. He was quite busy (understandably, given the quality of the work) but we finally were able to schedule our parent's new roof and it was impeccably done. Now, I'm no roofer but my brother, who knows a thing or two about these things, and is very picky, got on top of the roof and gave it a big thumbs up. Oh, and there is a thirty year guarantee! What can I say, Signature Roofing is fantastic! Great communication before the job, and professional. Worked fast, and cleaned up. Their subcontractors (old roof tear-off, gutter install) were just as good. Did a complete tear-off and new roof in 3 days. I can't recommend them enough.

Signature Roofing has replaced five roofs for my clients in the last couple years. There price is right, their craftmanship is outstanding and they are VERY easy to deal with. For me, dependability is important since all my properties are rented and the privacy and safety of my tenants is most important. Signature Roofing cleans up every day they are working leaving no mess for the tenants.

The workmen are so courteous you can consider them "ambassadors". They are so proud of their workmanship and careful I could not ask them to do a better job. This company is on top of my list of roofers, they are "as good as it gets"!

I was very impressed watching the re-roofing job on my home by Signature Roofing. Rain delayed the start of the job by one day. They made up for that day, finishing in two instead of the estimated three days. The crews were very amazingly efficient, the delivery of materials meticulously timed. I've kept any interactions with the crew to a minimum, but am glad to say when I did ask a question, they were always courteous in answering.

Aside from the original inspection and review of the bid, most interaction with the management overseeing the job was via email, with a few phone calls. The few and minor issues I had, were all resolved to my complete satisfaction. Also, before you ever make up your mind on who to hire to re-roof your home Signature roofing will have sent you half a dozen emails covering all the aspects of what is involved in re-roofing your home, reviewing bids, checking out contractors, and more. Even if you don't have them re-roof your home, you'll appreciate all the useful information the've sent you.

Very happy we picked Signature to do our re-roof in July 2020. I remember them being around when I was growing up so reliability of the company was one of the primary criteria in choosing a vendor. They were very professional, communicative of things to happen or needing attention, and overall everything I expected from a roofing company that's been around a while. Looking at their list of re-roofs, I found that a good number of neighbors had used them in the past.

I appreciated their asphalt shingle selection as we went with a reflector shingle. considering the roof we had when moving in had very few vents, the new vents and reflector shingle made a big difference in this past weekend's heat wave.

So much to love about their work! We engaged them before SIP and they followed up with us as soon as work was allowed to start. Totally reliable, honest, efficient and most of all, super organized. They even sent us an email at the end of each work day with updates! How about that! Clean up was well done and they even did a final QC to make sure the little things like stain marks were taken care of. I would recommend these guys for roofing to 100% of all who ask me.

My reroofing experience with Signature Roofing was a positive experience from before the contract was signed through completion. I cannot say enough about the care they took to make sure everything was done correctly and I was happy with their job. Signature roofing replaced our roof about 3 years ago. The job was done in a timely manner and the cost was competitive. Three issues with the job. 1) the addition of wood sheeting and asphalt shingles adds a lot of weight to the roof compared to the previous wood shakes on our 1960 ranch house. There was no caution from Signature to choose thinner and lighter shingles.

We chose the triple layer. As a result of the new roof sheet rock has cracked or split in multiple places. There was no warning of this from the roofer and no call back when I called the company about this issue. 2) We have a hip roof and I knew the new roof would be hotter than than the wood shake roof it was replacing. I brought this up to the supervisor or who did the estimate.

He said the quantity of O'Hagin vents Signature planned to add would be fine and sufficiently vent the attic. Wrong! We had to add a roof fan even after re-insulating the attic with the highest rated fiberglass insulation. They also did not put an O'Hagin vent in the garage roof so no ventilation there. When I look at our neighbors roofs it appears all have a vent in the garage roof. 3) We recently realized that we could smell kitchen orders in the garage if the range vent had been operating.

I climbed up into the loft and found the 6 vent pipe coming out of the wall from the kitchen completely disconnected from the vertical vent pipe which goes up through the roof. The roof itself is holding up quite well but I would not recommend Signature Roofing based on our experience.

From the initial quote to the conclusion of the job, Signature Roofing did en excellent re-roofing job on a duplex I own in San Mateo. Tenants were very appreciative of the cleanup everyday. I was kept informed about the job both during and before the job even began as to what to expect each day. I highly recommend this company for any roof work.

We were 100% satisfied with Signature roofing. The owner of the company sent us a postcard with his picture and phone number on it and told us we can call him anytime for any reason during the roofing process. We have several pets and we're concerned about the noise and he was very upfront and said the first day would be the worst, "It will be like a herd of elephants on your roof".
