Bro moved to Idaho. I'm so sad! I really needed him in my life and the life of my 1890 Victorian home. UGH. Well, good luck out there, dude! For the rest of us in Portland, don't bother calling him - unless you need a recommendation for who to call.

Woke up to a soggy, dripping, kitchen ceiling during an atmospheric river event. Left a message with Sean @9 am. He called back @10am and said he could be there in a couple hours. He was prompt with a calm confidence that was comforting. Sean found the exterior leak that happened to be on the siding as opposed to the roof, did his thing, and the leak was stopped before he left.

He even toured the rest of the roof to make sure there weren't any other potential problems. He found none and made sure to emphasize that we shouldn't pay him until we were sure the leak was stopped for a few days. He wanted us to call him if it wasn't so he could come back and sleuth out the problem to get the job done right. Rates were reasonable, and he was able to answer all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Highly recommended if you find yourself needing an emergency leak repair!

This company is truly top notch and highly recommend! Arrived on time for the estimate, quoted a very fair price. Once work started showed up exactly on time, work was impeccable with great attention to detail. Sean took great care to clean up and left our home and yard spotless from any residual mess and such. Had our Cedar Shake roof cleaned and treated, pressure washed our Ipe deck and Cedar hand rail. All looks brand new.

My 95 year old dad used this company on a number of occasions. They are responsive and thorough and if they make an error, they fix it immediately. I especially commend Sean Haney who came after hours with his two little girls who patiently waited for their father to fix my dad's small leak on 9/26/20. Businesses like this one are becoming more rare. They are tuned in to the client and that is to be admired.

We used Cedar Roofs NW recently to give our roof a cleaning and and shingle servicing, and I couldn't have been happier with their service. I've tried a few other roofing outfits in the past and outcome was noticeably better with CRNW. Our roof looks amazing! The price was competitive, but their service is what truly impressed me. Our job took 2 days, and they left our place very clean each day (roof cleaning is dirty work!).

They encountered some unforeseen troubles on our job from a prior inexperienced servicing as well as an u lucky mechanical failure on a new fan that they were replacing as part of the job. Both issues were addressed with out any complaints about the set backs. They treated the roof like it was their own and worked until our roof was in proper condition. Their crew did a major roof overhaul and treatment when we bought our house. Follow up checks have kept the roof heathy and clean. This roof should last some years with their support.

What can I say? A leak in our roof appeared instantly. Googled "emergency roof repair" and got a plethora of options. I called someone else first by sheer (bad) luck and it was like talking to someone half asleep. Called Cedar Roofs NW and Sean promptly answered. He spent maybe 2 to 3 minutes with me listening to me describe what/where/etc.about our roof and the leak.

Then said "I'll be there by noon" - this was at 9am mind you. I said "I'll be here". 90 minutes later at 10:30am he's at my front "you said youd be here so I got here as quick as possible". Right there is the 3 star review. Now for the 5 star.he's on my roof in minutes. Back down a very short time later. Shows me the problem (which btw was caused by installers 5 years ago).

He says "give me 45 minutes and we'll be good to go". Probably 30 minutes later he's down the ladder with photos of the repair. Day 2 after the repair and probably 1/2 inch of rain later.no more leak. The bill = very reasonable for instant call out, repair, and peace of mind. If only I could now send that invoice to the roofers 5 years ago.

Good communication, fast, honest, and knowledgeable. Sean at Cedar Roofs NW is an honest guy who really knows his stuff. Our roof began leaking during a hard rainfall about a week before we were set to go on vacation. Sean came out on a Sunday morning (without marking up the cost for the weekend) and quickly identified a small hole in a shingle that was the culprit.

Didn't charge us anything for materials since it was such a small issue and identified a few other potential problems that we should keep in mind without pressuring us to commit to more work. I'll be calling again when it's time for us to replace our roof.

Outstanding! I had Cedar Roofs NW come out for maintenance on my cedar shake roof. I was not happy with the previous company we had used and saw these guys had great reviews. Sean came out to see what we needed. He was straightforward and knowledgeable. Sean quoted me a reasonable price and thoroughly explained what the work entailed and we set up a date for the work to be done.

On the day of the appointment, Sean and his coworker showed up bright and early and got to work. He took the time to show me what was being replaced, why it was being replaced, and the causes of cedar shake blowouts and breakage. When the job was done they cleaned up everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! They left my roof, my house, and the surrounding property looking better than when they got here.

These guys showed me that there are still people out there who take pride in a job well done. Definitely one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. We are very happy with the way our roof turned out. We will be calling these guys for years to come. Amazing work at a very fair price!

Another roofing company recommended Cedar Roofs NW to me and I'm really glad they did. I emailed Sean about a leak and he responded very quickly. He was able to schedule Guy to come by a day later, on a Saturday. Guy was on time, incredibly nice, and was able to fix the leak quickly. I have roof issues that I wasn't aware of and Guy was very kind in delivering the not so great news. I will definitely use them again.

Love the look of a cedar roof, yet upkeep of this roof can be trying to say the least. After 7 years, I have had only good things to say about Cedar Roofs NW. Sean and his awesome crew continue to provide service and quality work within realistic budgets. In regard to our last experience, Sean and crew provided updated communications and was able to get my job done in a timely manner. Clean up was great, customer service and honesty topped off a great experience. Would recommend.licensed, bonded, quality workmanship.

They did a relatively quick job fixing the leak in my roof, which I appreciate. I agreed to a verbally to pay for labor+materials. However, when I got the invoice, the small amount of materials they used were marked up what appears to be 100%-1000%. They charged me $35 for a single tube of roofing tar (available at Lowes for as little as $3) and $65 for a single bundle of shingles (available at Lowes for less than $25).

I expect some markup from a contractor, but usually a reasonable amount. I called to inquire and the owner was completely unapologetic, saying he needs to charge this markup to handle wear and tear on his equipment. It's not worth going to the mat over less than $100, but I would be extremely careful hiring these people without a carefully reviewed written contract that limits potential markup on materials.

These guys ROCK! We are selling our house and I contacted several roofers to fix an issue ASAP. Some I didn't even hear back from. Sean who is friendly and responsive came out, gave us a reasonable estimate and scheduled us for two weeks later. I said if they had ANY openings to please expedite our repair and they did. They were professional and did a great job cleaning up after they finished the job. VERY pleased with their service and will hire them again any time I need further roof repair.

Sean is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, does a thorough job of estimating the amount of work that needs to be done, shows actual pictures of what needs to be done, and gives a thorough quote along with extra information on the what and why they use the treatment they use. We had a one of our downspouts come unattached the day after he was out here and he called me back the same day I left the vm, and was here the next day to reattach, no question no hassle.

We had a leak in our garage roof after a particularly heavy rain storm. I contacted several companies and have yet to hear back from them. I emailed Cedar Roofs NW at about 8am and got a call by 10am. Sean was here at noon! He found a leaking roof vent and replaced it right away. He also found other vents that were cracked from age and will be here next week to replace them as well. We could not be happier with his work!

This roofing company is so amazing! I've called Sean twice to do emergency leak repairs on my roof this winter. The first time he came out in less than 24 hours (on a Sunday!) and the second time he came out in about three hours. His rates are incredibly reasonable, his work is excellent, and he's just an all around nice guy. Once the weather gets better, I plan on calling him again to do a thorough inspection/repair of my roof.

Great service. Repaired a leak in my cedar shake roof. Sean Haney was knowledgeable and I felt confident in his ability and experience to do the job right. Had two previous guys come out before Cedar Roofs NW and they did a pretty lousy job repairing the leak. The first guy simply did a temporary fix and missed the main point of entry of the leak; the second guy did only a temporary fix. Sean fixed it correctly.

Yet I ended up paying just as much each for the first two guys to come out as I did with Sean. Lesson learned. I should have gone with him in first place. Definitely would recommend.

He came out and took a look at the roof and gave us an estimate, but also he explained what was failing with the cedar shakes, and the best way to fix our roof to keep it in good shape for another few years until we could afford to replace it. This was the best experience I've had with a roofing company! When you have water dripping through a ceiling light fixture you know it's time to call the professionals. I tried several companies listed online and either got no response or was told that it would be 4-5 days before they could come out. While searching here and on Google I found Cedar Roofs NW.

I called and left a message as I had done on numerous other companies phones but this was much better. I got a call back from Sean Haney in about 10 minutes! It got even better when he said he could be at my house in less than 30 minutes! He actually beat me to the house and was already accessing the problems. He was very thorough checking from inside the attic to look for light leaks. When completed, he had found 9 leaks and repaired them all. And still no return phone calls from any of the other companies.

Recently had them in to do some maintenance work on my shake roof after another company delayed the project. They showed up on time, finished earlier than estimated and the final bill was just what the estimated. It was painless and pleasant to work with them. Mike (the owner) came out to give me the quote, he supervised and did some of the work himself. Overall I was very happy with the job and would recommend them highly.
