Wood shingles are sawn and have a flat and smooth surface offering a more tailored look whereas the wood shakes are split to form a thicker and irregular shape giving a more rugged form.

We cannot say enough good things about this roofing company. When our house was built 7 years ago, it's clear the builder used a roofer that did not care about quality work or products. We've needed repairs more times than I can count from wind damage over the years. After contacting several other non-responsive and/or no-show roofers, we found Peak Performance and we're so glad we did. They were professional from day one and have NEVER let us down. Thank you Peak Performance for taking such good care of our roof over the years!

I had an overall wonderful experience with Peak! As a new first time home owner this was my first adventure into a roofing issue. Jacob was so kind to come out to my home as promptly as possible with their very booked schedule. He explained to me the issues that were causing me to see some leaking and also talked to me about some shingles that he noticed looked odd.
He assured me it was not an issue right now but some years down the line it would be worth keeping an eye on. I really felt like he wasn't pressuring me into any extra services but simply letting me be a more knowledgeable and informed home owner. I felt very lucky that they were able to get a repair man out the next week since it was a minor fix. Everything went quickly and the charge matched what I was quoted. It was overall a great experience and I'm very grateful

A tree limb had damaged some shingles. The company that installed our last roof is no longer in business so I called Peak Performance Roofing. Quick response! Jacob came out to inspect roof and provide a quote. He found that the roof peak vent was improperly installed and also one other defect. Repair crew was professional and did a thorough job. Everything they did was explained well. I will use them in the future snd highly recommend Peak Performance Roofing!

Absolutely outstanding service! Completely blown away by the kindness and patience of Chuck Adams. He spend a considerable amount of time discussing various roofing products and materials regarding our new construction. He provided sound, straight forward recommendations on what products we should consider and what products to potentially avoid. He went into great detail on other variables to consider to help enhance the look and esthetic of our house.
With over 35 years of expertise, he's incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job of making everything understandable. Would recommend Chuck Adam's and Peak Performance to any customer looking for solid and reliable roofing advice!

Peak performance did an excellent job on removing our defective roof and installing a new one. Their workers were extremely considerate of our property. They covered our plants and moved our outdoor furniture to be clear of any debris that might fall. They even took the time to blow off our deck, patio and driveway when finished. Then they moved our furniture back. I highly recommend Peak Performance.

Had an excellent experience with Peak Performance Roofing. I needed a full roof replacement and after a decent amount of shopping around decided to go with Peak. Jacob laid out all the options, didn't oversell, scheduled me within a week, and came in and completed the job in one day. Minimal disruption at the house on the day of installation, and the new roof looks excellent. Jacob also followed up multiple times to ensure I was happy with the results and confirm there were no issues. I highly recommend this company.

I work for Dolan Home Improvement and can't say enough about Rich and Peak Performance Roofing. I am a contractor and I use my regular roofing company that tends to deal primarily with contractors but our client wanted to use Peak Performance for the new addition we built him so he could keep his warranty in tack with Peak. Rich bent over backwards to get us on the schedule and get the roof water tight before a week long rain. Their customer service and installation team is top notch and I would highly recommend them to any homeowner looking for roof repair or a complete roof overhaul!
