Ryan and Tony from Avondale Roofing were phenomenal with regards to bringing my hail damage claim to completion. It involved a new roof, six skylights with solar blinds, new aluminum siding, trim and custom half-round gutters. The foreman of each crew was always on site ready to answer any questions I had. Many thanks to Cesar, Angel and Jesus. the finished product is simply stunning.

Avondale Roofing re-roofed our house and installed new 5 gutters. Throughout the whole process, they were very responsive and professional. Worked with Avondale previously to replace our roof. This time they replaced our gutters and downspouts in the middle of winter. We are very pleased with the service and quality of work. They are very responsive and professional.

I had siding installed to the front/top attic part of the house. They (Tony) were honest, informative and transparent in their scope of work. Everyone I spoke to for the project were very professional and responsive. The job looks very well done and beautiful. Attached is a picture of their work. This job was done in a timely manner and efficiently. Tuckpointing still needs to be done on the wall, which a different company will be doing since Avondale Roofing does not do this type of work. I highly recommend Avondale Roofing for your projects :)

Avondale was a shot in the dark and we were pleasantly surprised. Tony, the salesman who worked with me was so kind, very professional and patient! My building owners took several months to make a decision as to what company to go with and all of the prospects fell away without follow-up. Tony stuck in there every couple months to see where we stood without any pressure.just so professional.

The bid was average with the other bids, however, their products were above the standard and they were very transparent. You won't be disappointed with the quality of materials or work! They held true to their word and got the job done in a very timely fashion after waiting months for the answer. In a time when impressiveness is scarce, Avondale hit a home run!

Roof, siding, and gutter installation were done promptly and well, replacing what had been damaged in a hailstorm. We've worked with Avondale in the past and would gladly recommend them.

Because of the hail storm that hit parts of the Northshore last Spring, I called Avondale to come out and check my roof and siding for hail damage. I ended up needing a complete new roof and siding replacement all around my house. Throughout the process of the inspection, contracting for the work, the workman, and the supervision, I found the entire process and the resulting workmanship to be professional, courteous and at the highest standard of completion.

I was thoroughly satisfied with the communication, quality and the end result provided by Avondale. I will not hesitate to contact them again should the need arise. I highly recommend Avondale.

Earlier this year we had a bizarre hail storm which destroyed our roof. Our insurance company referred us to a remediation company who subsequently brought in Avondale. It was a complicated project, with layers upon layers of shingles on our 100+ year old house; a very high peak and a garden that I was VERY worried about. The Avondale team treated our home like it was their own.

They set up a system to protect our plants and each day used their handy magnet to pick up nails. Not a leaf was damaged and when they finished the job you would never know they were there. Any roofer can replace a roof. Its the extras that matter, i.e. care and attention to the property including cleanup and garden protection for which Avondale deserves this 5 Star rating.

They are extremely nice! The crew was speaking Polish, Spanish and English everyone in my household speaks Polish so it was really nice to know my mom will be able to communicate with them. I loved their work and they do it very fast and professionally! Loved it!

Very poor customer service and follow up. After initial contacting me and saying they would take a commercial job. When I indicated we would like to move forward with the job they gave me the run around about renting equipment and pricing material to start the job the upcoming week. I never heard from them again. Instead of just saying they didn't want the job they just did and said nothing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.not solvent and sounds like they perform zero due diligence on subcontractors they use. I've fully paid for roof, soffit, and fascia on time 50% up front and 50% when the final invoice came through. Job was completed in October 2017 and payment from me sent.in November 2017 I received a notice of potential lien from a subcontractor they used.

No information about this subcontractor nor their right to place a lien on my property was presented at any point in working with Avondale. After talking to Avondale they admitted they didn't pay the subcontractor and that they didn't have any money. Their plan was to wait until warmer weather so that newer jobs could pay off the bill from the sub they used on my property -- AWFUL ponzi scheme like business model. Understandably the subcontractor did end up filing a lien on my property. I've needed to contact legal help to help remove the lien that was placed.

Such a great company! They were so easy to work with, listened to my needs, and gave me a great price. I would recommend them to any friend with roofing needs!

These guys are great! They just got new management and they are very professional and nice! They gave me a great price and came out and fixed my roof in no time!

Really great Company. Needed to replace roof due to high winds, and storms. Tom came out and checked the roof, very nice guy. Our Insurance company covered most of the cost, but we would have had to still pay a difference. Tom worked it out so that we only ended up paying the deductible. He Really helped us throughout the job. Also, old roof removed, new roof added, all garbage taken care of, and everything swept up & left clean in 1 Day! By 3 pm they were gone. GREAT JOB GUYS!

We had Avondale completely replace the roof of our 1925 bungalow about 13 years ago. It was a great experience--no complaints. Sadly I think they've met the fate of many third generation family owned businesses. We need to replace the roof of our detached garage and repair a leak on the roof of our house. Chris, whose business card reads "future owner" came to give us an estimate. Based on our previous experience with this company, if the estimate was affordable, we'd have had them do the work without seeking other estimates.

That was about four weeks ago. Two weeks in we asked when we could expect an estimate. We were told the next day. We're still waiting. I picked up my iPad to look for other options but stopped to share my disappointment.

My landlord used this company to repair our roof. They had roofing everywhere. Killed our plants, blew our electricity, left gas cans on the lawn after they all went home for the day. I asked that I get some kind of warning before they threw stuff off the roof, for their dumpster was located at my front door. No on spoke English! I don't know about the work but their customer service was appalling and very inconsiderate.

I have an older home with a "valley" where 2 gables meet that had a very slow seeping leak. I also had a small bay window tin roof [25 square ft] that was leaking. These jobs were so small that the roofing companies I first called did not even call me back. I learned of Avondale through the Lakefront Roofing Supply web page. Bob and Martin visited and quoted both areas for a price that I expected, quickly followed by a call and emal from Jaye.

After I accepted the price, Bob and Martin showed up on time as scheduled and worked through 100-plus degree heat to get both areas completed in a day. They had some minor finish-up they completed the following workday morning, but throughout their work these 2 guys showed professionalism and hard work. From the start they explained everything they were doing and took the time to listen and answer any and all questions.

They were thorough, efficient, and clean; on time and very straightforward. If you have small roofing jobs, these 2 guys and Avondale are the people to call! John F., Chicago

Great Company, I called for and scheduled an estimate, they had to re-schedule for a future date but called ahead, which was fine. I met Tom he explained all my options to repair a flat roof in the back of a rental house i own. I then realized it made sense to have him quote me the entire roof which was in really bad shape. the combine quote was $8000.00.

I had gotten other quotes for the same house in the past for 10 to 12 thousand but never wanted to spend the money on the rental, so i knew it was a fair price. I called them with a credit card number and they came out two days later and completed the work in one day. VERY clean, no nails left behind.

Same issue as previous review. We just got a new roof. Looks great and job was completed quickly, but a couple weeks in we found a leak. It was on a weekend so they promised to have some out on Monday between 3-4. At 4 they call and say they can't make it. We are pretty shocked that they at least didn't send someone out to talk to us that day.

Today they sent a couple guys out to repair. Husband showed them the issue, explained we wanted all the vents checked again not just where the leak was. The guys went up on the roof and then left a little while later without coming back to explain what was done. So, we are not confident that this issue has been resolved.

The main salesman that came to the house seemed experienced and gave me a lot of info. The receptionist was nice but didn't seem to know what was going on ever. I had to do the follow up on my project status. The roof was completed in time and looked great, but the subcontractor did not do a small portion of flattop roof which i had paid for.

I ended up with a leak and damage in my home; i contacted avondale about what happened and they sent the sub right over the next day to confirm what went wrong and they fixed in the following weekend. Overall, it was a job well done, but the company was not good with keeping me informed and following up with me.
