ACS Roofing

I collected four bids for a new roof on my 1800 square-foot home. ACS was the lowest bid, which I normally would have avoided, but they were also the only company that included the ridge vents and gutters that I wanted. Mark gave me great advice for selecting the right products for my home and Amos did a fantastic job of guiding the installation to completion. When some minor issues came up with the gutters, they came right back out and fixed everything the way I wanted it. I would use them again.

Good quality customer service and the actual hands on work. ACS has done a complete installation of a brand new roof. Very professional, always on time. My 1,400 sq ft house plus 1 car garage took them 4 days to scrape off the old roof, repair all the rot, and install the new roof. They also recommended an insulation company that I desperately needed for my attic.

And they worked in tandem to replace the insulation and the roof, all in 4 days. And the cost of all of this was less or equal to the average cost of the job on the market. Highly recommend them! Thank you Mark, Doc, Amos, Ken, and Kenny!

This is the second time we have used ACS Roofing over the years. They continue to be very responsive and professional. Came out to do an inspection after we discovered a leak and were able to take immediate action to stop further damage. When they were able to come out to do the house repairs the crew was professional, on-time, thorough, and didn't mind explaining what they were doing and why. We highly recommend them to get the job done right, the first time.

I was very satisfied with the work of ACS Roofing. The crew was prompt on starting on the work day. They were knowledgeable of the needed repairs and courteous in our communications. They were able of complete the job in one day and were thorough in clean up after the job. I would use them again if needed and I would recommend them to others needing roofing work.

After neglecting my tile roof for many years, ACS Roofing did a thorough inspection complete with pictures. It was also nice to know that the inspector was familiar with the houses in the area and common problems. They gave me an indication of what was immediate need and what I could delay if I wanted. Of course, rain was in the immediate forecast which had me nervous.

I was so pleased when they called and said they would send someone to get the leak areas taken care of before it poured, and then they took care of the other repairs when weather cleared. I will definitely have them do my follow up inspections!

I was only going to do 4 bids, but my neighbors started suggesting other roofing companies, so I ended up doing a total of 7 multiple bids. It surprised me that some roofing companies were giving bids without going onto the roof, I guess they are using some software that roofing companies use these days to avoid going onto the roof. ACS - Mark was my inspector and he came over and had his ladder in hand and a folder with samples and talked with me a bit and went right to work on his inspection, he also walked around my whole house.

He seemed to be here a lot longer than the other companies. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and some over the phone, his estimate was very detailed of all the work that needed to be done and any additional recommendations based on their experience. Amos, was also very helpful and easy to talk to, he came by and introduced himself to me and gave me his personal cell, to have if I needed to get ahold of him, to ask any questions or needed anything, very nice guy. Ken and his son were very focus, prompted on arrival to start daily on the re-roofing job.

Nice guys to have on your roof. You can hear Ken singing along with the radio in the background, but hard at work. ACS is a small family owned company here in Elk Grove and I can say I felt very comfortable with them all from the start. I HIGHLY Recommend ACS Roofing! From Bid to Completion ACS was excellent! Their bid was reasonable, they were transparent of cost and possible issues that could cause a change to cost to avoid any surprises and were proactive in meeting expectations to keep cost inline. The ACS Roof Removal team was polite, quick, efficient, and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards to where you wouldn't even know they were there.

The ACS Roofing Installation team paid attention to every detail making the finished roof so beautiful, as well as efficient as they installed water diverters where needed b/c I have an HVAC unit on my roof. They even painted vent pipes to match, and the new roof system also allowed them to remove some venting no longer needed giving the roof a more streamlined and beautiful look.

My HVAC seems to be working more efficiently and with less strain when it powers up due to this cool roof system. ACS followed-up by submitting all warranty details to the manufacturer for me and provided a completion packet with full details of their contract, permits/approval, warranty, and all final details. Everything was handled with utmost professionalism and efficiency with installation completed in 3 days start to finish.

I will use ACS when I am able to do siding and any additional exterior renovation in the future that they offer, as I have full trust in their judgement and quality of work. My roof is beautiful, I enjoy seeing it every time I arrive home and am looking forward to it raining this year! Thank YOU ACS! You exceed my hopes and expectations at every turn!

I selected ACS Roofing after doing online research on roofing companies. Their website is very thorough with video and explanation on the necessity of roofing inspections. Their inspection fee was competitive, scheduled quickly and timely completed by Amos Tate. The review was very thorough pointing out several areas of my 20 year old tile roof that needed repair.

The review was accompanied my numerous photos leaving no question that repairs were needed. The work was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The inspection fee was deducted from the estimated repair cost. The repairmen were friendly, prompt and cleaned up everything after the work was completed. I do feel much more comfortable now that all of the repairs have been completed and the roof is like new. Highly recommend ACS Roofing for anyone needing roof work done.

I recently contacted ACS Roofing to inspect my home's composition roof as a result of leaks in my office and since parts of the roof were showing signs of aging and dry-rot. I chose them after checking out the services of several local roofing companies. The owner, Mark Tate, came out to do the initial inspection. Mark and I discussed the work to be done, for which he appeared very knowledgeable.

Within a few days I received an estimate with an inspection report indicating the areas that needed improvement. I decided to move forward with the suggested changes, and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later. The crew of four worked quickly and cleaned up well. The roofing changes look good, and since Mark guarantees his work I expect my leaking issues will no longer be a concern (which is great). The repair cost was reasonable, about what I expected from what I had learned from industry research.

Mark from ACS roofing came out to inspect the roof. He was very professional and spent a good amount of time explaining everything and the procedure. He was extremely helpful in highlighting the problems we have, and what we need to do to fix the problems. He clearly showed what was needed now and what could be done at a later time. He took a lot of pictures and spent a large amount of time on the roof.

He then sent via e-mail the next day a complete and thorough detailed report, circling problems. It was extremely useful. It is a good idea to have your roof inspected this way before it is too late for larger issues to develop. A great job done and well worth the money.

I required a roof inspection for a new home I am purchasing and Amos took the call immediately. He performed the inspection within two days and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the inspection and report. He also provided an estimate to make the repairs which is helping in my negotiations with the seller of the house. The report was very professional and easy to read with photos identifying each of the problems. I would use ACS for my roof work since their prices are competitive. Ive worked with Mark & Amos from ACS for almost 20 yrs as a vendor & supplier. If you need a roof there is no better company in Elk Grove. They are honest & meticulous in their approach to each project. Mark has an extensive background in general construction that augments his approach to waterproofing. Few match his knowledge & expertise. I heartily recommend ACS!

My roof had damage which I suspected was weather related. I contacted my homeowners insurance company. They immediately contacted ACS during the Christmas season. ACS completed and estimate two days before Christmas making minor repairs until they completed their estimate. An estimate was completed one day after Christmas with detailed information regarding my roof. Turns out it was not weather related.

Our roof needed repairs due to a lot of missing shingles and ACS Roofing was recommended by our insurance company. They were able to schedule us in within a week and had the repairs completed efficiently and even did some extras that wasn't quoted! Terrific job! Thank you Amos!

Mark's very thorough and detailed roof inspection saved me lots of $$ in the end. The inspection cost is a bit higher than most competitors in the area but you get what you pay for. To get a second opinion, my agent's recommended roof inspector came with $650 worth of repairs and missed the other 90% of problems that Mark found. Had I went with my agent's initial recommendation, I would've bought the house already and get hit with $5000-10000 worth of repair later on.

This amount is not an overestimate since I have asked other roofing companies for a repair quote and the $5000 cost are the critical repairs. I've now seen roof reports and completed repair invoices from other homes with similar but less problems overall that costed $4500. Sometimes I question if these realtors purposely pick some of the worst inspectors who will likely miss things, which will make the house look better than it really is to help the realtors sell the house (which earns them money). Do yourself a favor when purchasing a house and pay for experienced and high quality inspectors. Don't cheap out on inspections.

Called ACS after a tree fell on my house and damaged some rake trim tiles and a couple field tiles. I got somebody to respond right away but it took a week for the roof inspection which they charged $129 for. The inspector was very professional and the inspection was quite thorough unfortunately the quote for the repairs that came back were what I felt to be unreasonably high.

I used the inspection report to competitive bid with several other local roofing companies. I found a reputable company that bid using the inspection report and completed the repair for 1/3 of the price that ACS quoted. I'm sure they do great work but their price was unreasonable.

ACS was professional, quick, clean and got the job done right. Their estimate included a detailed report complete with pictures of the damage. Because it was supposed to rain, Mark did a temporary patch to the leak before they were scheduled to do the full repair in a few days. I highly recommend ACS, especially for Elk Grove residents. I like using local companies.

OMG! The best service in the world. I'm 57 years old been in sales my whole life and customer service is one of my pet peeves. I called ACS on Thanksgiving Day for gutter leaking into my house. ACS fixed my roof leak unclog my gutter. I had water fall streaming down. Someone was here Thanksgiving morning at 10:00 a.m. took before and after photos, showed me the issue and fixed my issue. Amazing amazing amazing. If anyone needs roofing or any type of construction call ACS roofing they have superior customer service!

Without a doubt, will repeat. I actually did get multiple bids, but other roofing companies were giving bids without going onto the roof and/or way underestimating the work to get the bid to start work.it would end up more this way as they "find" more things that I already know would be issues. ACS gave me a quote of all the work that needed to be done and any additional recommendations based on their experience working on my house model for others.

I chose what I felt was needed to be added. They started work a day after the contract was signed since the rains were coming and found the damage to be much wider than originally thought. They didn't even ask me, they took responsibility of the little additional work as part of the project. They are slightly more than other cheaper companies but I promise you, they are experts and fix what they said would be fixed. I finally found a roofing company that could trusted for work, expertise and honesty.

I woke up after the last big rain storm to a huge water spot on my ceiling. I was referred to ACS by a local neighbor. They were able to come to my house, give me a quote and fix the roof issues so quickly and professionally. Their staff in office was also able to assist with any questions or concerns I had! We would definitely use them for any future roofing needs.

As they did with someone else they don't seem to want to give me an estimate. I guess with the 5 star rating they have (or had before this 1 star review) they have so much business they don't need ours. When you have a 5 star business rating you need to maybe try harder to keep it. When we called we were given a date for them to come out.

They called and needed to reschedule. They were coming tomorrow, but they just called to reschedule again. Seriously? I just checked out the other reviews and with a couple of exceptions all those 5 stars reviews are written by people with an average of writing 2 reviews. I think there are many fake reviews for this company. I'm asking Alex the Yelp Sacramento Community Director to check it out.

ACS was recommended to us by our insurance company. They came out and did a full roof inspection, quoted us for each individual thing that needed to be repaired and provided an explanation and pictures for ALL of it. When I contacted them about financing, they were quick and helpful and willing to work with us on payments (they even went back to amend some stuff when it turned out there was some extra cost in our roof work due to dry rotting). They have been excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

ACS roofing was easy and painless to do business with. Mark came out, when scheduled and with in 1 day I had a quote the next day. They called in advance to reschedule and then came when planned. Service was quick. Within 1 week the roof was repaired

ACS roofing is very professional and honest company. The owner Mark came out and did the roof inspection, took pictures of work we needed to have done. He explained in detail the procedures they would follow. The work was done in the time frame that we agreed on. From beginning to end everything went perfect. We will definitely be calling them for any roofing problems in the future.

I contacted ACS for an estimate. After a week and a half, "Doc" called me and took some information regarding my roofing needs. (New roof, gutter). He said that they were currently booking for mid November, which was about three weeks out. I would be receiving a separate call from the estimator. Two or three weeks go by, and still no word from the estimator.

So today I called the office, and again talked to Doc. He said they were now currently booking for DECEMBER, and that the estimator is on vacation, and will be back in two weeks. How much do you want to bet, that by the time the estimator gets back from vacation, and then has a stack of estimates to do, and when mine finally gets looked at, they will be booking for January or February.

Keep in mind that I first contacted ACS for an estimate the beginning of October. This is unfortunate, as I had researched ACS and really, really wanted to use them. Yes, all the roofers are currently busy and are booking 6 weeks out. I just wish my estimate was done in a timely manner, and not have me wait a total of 4 weeks from time of initial contact just for an estimate, and THEN having to wait another 6 weeks to start.

My roof is in poor condition and I simply cannot wait 10 weeks. I am giving only one star for the communication / estimating delay, and another star only because Doc was polite.

We are fairly new to Elk Grove, and we had a serious problem with the roof on our home during the rain. I asked around and was referred to several roofers, but chose ACS! Wow, we are so glad we did, they came out so quickly, were extremely professional, assessed the problems and explained, With pictures, what was going on. What needed immediate repair and what could wait a bit.

I felt no need to look for further estimates. I felt confident and taken care of. They came out and did an emergency repair before another rain happened, and right after the rain, came back and did all our repairs. They were clean, arrived on time, and followed up by phone to check if we were happy. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job you have. We will definitely be using them for some future projects we have to do.

We just got our new roof almost three weeks ago and I must say I am glad we went with ACS. I got three quotes before making a final decision on a company and ACS' price was way lower than all of the other quotes, we even added a velux sun tunnel and installed extra vents. Mark and his office staff were very helpful with answering questions and concerns that we had, they completed the roof and every little extra stuff that we had done in 4 days. They cleaned up right after they were done and our roof looks great! We couldn't be any happier with our decision.

Not knowning a good roofing company, I saw ACS's ads through a Google search and decided to call and make an appointment. The roof at my rental property had a leak in it and I wanted it fixed before the heavy rains. Promptly and on time, Mark, the owner of ACS Roofing, came to my rental. I found him to be personable and friendly to do business with.
