That product is the Spray Foam roofing system. We started installing Spray Foam roofing systems over 30 years ago. HB Urethane Roofing Co. has been serving the Northern California and Sacramento roofing industry since 1975.

At that time we used conventional materials such as plastic cement, fiberglass, fibered asbestos asphalt coatings, and cold process materials to repair, patch, and coat existing roofs. New roofs were almost exclusively applied with hot asphalt and plies of roofing felts. These conventional products were extremely susceptible to failure due to hot and cold contraction and expansion increased by extreme freezing and thawing cycles. In the mid-seventies, we discovered urethane spray foam and elastomeric coatings.
Green Roofing Systems are anything but new. They have been used all over the world for centuries. The methods used for Green Roofing Systems, however, are new. Conventional roofing systems (PVC, TPO, EPDM, & Asphalt) deal with Green Roofing Systems in various ways, all of which require many more steps in the roofing process.
Urethane foam and elastomeric coatings have been utilized to protect against the frigid cold on the North Slope of Alaska to the extreme heat of the Worlds Deserts. The product has outperformed all other roofing and waterproofing systems. Urethane foam has even passed the rigid extremes of outer space.

This is a long time coming, as Harry recoated our flat roof several years ago, but he's also helped us out with several other roof-related issues in the last few years and I can't recommend him highly enough. Not only does he have a great crew, but he's trustworthy, helpful, knowledgeable.just a high quality individual all around. We feel lucky to have found him.

We had the spray on foam roof on our mid-century home in Woodland recoated by Harry Bunfill about a year ago. Harry is probably the most professional contractor we have worked with since moving to northern California more than 10 years ago. He returned calls promptly, provided a thorough evaluation and estimate for performing the roofing, and fit us in his already busy schedule to complete the work quickly.
He and his crew did an excellent job and our roof looks fantastic. They even had to replace some rotted plywood, and did so at no extra charge. He's very friendly and professional, but most important the quality is great! Sorry it took a year to provide this well deserved positive review!

I have attempted multiple times via calls/voicemails, text and email to reach out to this company to have them look at a potential flat-roof issue that they installed. They guaranteed us a 10 year warranty (from 2 years ago) and now am unable to reach them or contact them regarding the roof. I will be forced to reach out to another company. Do not trust this company with any warranty. They will NOT respond back in any way.

I was very disappointed with Harry and his lack of communication and follow through. I had to call him a couple of times to even get him to come out. When he did, he seemed like a nice guy, we spent a lot of time talking and he promised to send me an estimate by the end of the week, four days away. I didn't receive it on the day promised. Or the next day.
Or the next day. I gave him a whole week then called him about it. I only got his voice mail and left him a msg to remind him. Never heard back. I found someone else who will do the job. I suspect for Harry it wasn't a commercial job, just a residence, and HE WOULDN'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY.

I've had HB Urethane Roofing over the past eleven years put roofs on a few buildings. An industrial building and and office building. They just re-coated the industrial building after eleven trouble free years. Harry and his crews are great to deal with and always get a great job at a fair price. The price quoted is the price I paid and the workmanship is perfect. The crew is respectful of my tenants and you'll never have a leak with one of these roofs. There maybe cheaper alternatives out there but there is not a better roofer.

We were in desperate need of a repair of our Strengs Bros flat roof. These guys have been around for years so we called them for an estimate. We ended up having a foam roof put on and it looks AMAZING! You will not find a more trustworthy experienced company. I got the impression that they mainly do bigger commercial jobs but Harry treated our smaller job as if it were just as important as their big ones.
The crew they had come out were super nice guys. I always worry about contractors working around our place and their language being kind of sketchy around my little girls but these guys were extremely professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them. They are a family run business that is as honest and good as they get.
