Don't waste your time listening to the sales pitch, the salesman quoted a price of $79,000 to replace or $17,000 to fix a roof on a 1200sf house, They guy must have been drunk. A roof should cost between $3.50 and $5.50 a sf. $4200-$6600. They are using common core math at Guy ripping. You a new one.

They lied to us wouldn't tell us what it cost said they would turn it into our insurance we said we didn't have 1000 dollars deductible he said don't worry I'll turn in some other damages to cover it but he didn't an Guy roofing wouldn't do anything about it they fired the guy that told us that an they were supposed to use a medal detector and pick. up all those nails they didn't an they busted light fixtures done other damages to the house I could go on an on we had to pick up nails for days an I stepped on 1 an fell hurt my knee they don't want to take responsibility for things they did wrong never will they come back in our yard we had glass all over the house where they busted them it sounded like they were coming through the roof they came out before daylight an started it was horrible

I suggest you get an additional estimate. Had a small leak in my roof. Guy Roofing estimator wanted me to pay $6,100 for a roof "tune-up". I was surprised because I paid (to a different company) $2,700 for a complete new roof 8 years ago. Called another company who came the next day, and repaired on the spot for $250. Rained last night, no leak!

They replaced our roof in one day! They worked nonstop for 12 hours. Not a single piece of trash, nails or anything left behind. Our roof looks awesome. The best part. it rained the next day and NO leaks!

Contacted Guy Roofing about an issue on the roof of my screened in porch, shingles were buckling - the roof on this porch is about 20 x 16 ft. They suggested I replace the whole roof on the porch and quoted me $7,000 - yes that's $7,000. Obviously, they didn't want to fool with such a small job, so they quoted a number that would definitely make me decide not to go with them or quoted me a price that if I did decide to go with them, then they would make a tremendous profit. Bad business - beware.

Nasty company they dont pay the subcontractors and they dont pay for many materials installed on the roof dont work for then they will fuc. you for anything

This roofing company answered my e -mail & calls quickly, were very Professional & Courteous and their rates are Fair! Tough times made easy. We would definitely recommend them and use them again. Feel lucky to have a good roof over our heads and good people responsible for it!

Called me four times to confirm my husband would be there for a consultation. Curious as to why I ( as a woman) am not "allowed" to make decisions on my own. This was literally to have them assess the roof for any storm damage due to visible curling of the shingles.

We never heard back after a nice guy came to our house saying he was working on a neighbor's house and assessed our roof. We called about 4 times and it's been more than a month with no reply! He even left a sign in our front yard advertising, but never returned. Very strange circumstance, still wondering how to return the sign!

Poor workmanship. Had to call them numerous times to correct shoddy work.even the repairs were incorrectly done

Guy Roofing did my wife's grandmother's house and did a fantastic job, the workers showed up early and were finished with the house and shed by 2 PM. I always recommend them to my friends and family. The process was easy, and they worked well with her insurance company.

They closely monitor their crews and may check on their progress several times a day. If I had any questions about their work, they were easily accessible to me for managing any problem I had. Without hesitating, I would recommend Guy Roofing to anybody needing their services!!!

My roof was replaced 8 years ago due to hail damage. I had seen Guy Roofing ads and their signs up in various neighborhood. After getting the go ahead from my insurance company my new roof was completed. 2 years ago I noticed some shingles had come off do I called thinking it was under warranty. The salesman came out checked the roof, and also a gutter I was concerned about.

The quote was 1200.00. I found out workmanship was only for 5 years so I went with them even tho I thought the cost was too high. Fast forward to last Friday and I see 3 shingles are either loose or off in the the exact same location. Called them again and found out their repairs carry no warranties. I found a small company to come out yesterday and repairs were completed in around 45 minutes and was charged less than 100.00.

The repair man did not have good things to say about what he saw on my roof, so I'm sure I will be calling him back in the next few years. I do research on companies when I need repairs but I guess I should have looked at BBB and other sites more closely. I would not recommend them to anyone now and as the saying goes-fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Do not use this company. They do not honor their workmanship guarantees and have illegal/ unregistered immigrants working on their installation crews. I had Guy Roofing replace my beachfront roof last October 2018 in Wrightsville Beach. The entire instal crew was from Mexico and did not speak english. I asked for the best roof possible to be installed.

I paid for Duration Platinum to sustain 130 mile an hour winds. When Dorian impacted our area this year 2019 it took off some of the roof and the caps on the ridges that Guy Roofing installed 10 months earlier. Guy roofing located at: 201 Jones Road Spartanburg, SC refused to tarp our damaged roof and claimed that the, "caps" that blew off were a lower grade product.

In other words, not the higher grade Duration Platinum I paid for. Thus, they were not covered under their 2 year warranty. Their representative, "Nate" who came out to evaluate our damaged 2019 roof said that I had to specifically ask for the higher grade, "Caps" in Duration Platinum even though I asked for the Duration Platinum shingle. I am taking Guy Roofing to court to pay for all damages. I Will update as this plays out.

No, I don't need a consultation. I need my ridge vent repaired to stop water leaking into my home. I have no interest in setting up a time when both my wife and I can be here so that you can attempt to upsell something that I don't need. I have a damaged ridge vent that's leaking water. I need a repair man, not a salesman. It's disappointing that you place a higher priority on setting up a sales appointment than helping a customer stop water from entering their house.

That says a lot to me. It tells me that you only want large profit jobs and care less about your previous customers. You installed the roof, and you've been out before to recaulk flashing. I was extremely happy with you until today. Now it appears that all you want to do is try to sell me a new roof WITHOUT EVEN COMING OUT TO SEE WHAT'S WRONG.

I guess you've gotten too big now and have no interest in loyalty and customer service. I don't need a new roof right now but when I do, it won't be Guy roofing installing it.

The roof looks great. Old torn down and new roof installed in one day (10 hours). All was explained before and day after QC came by and got on roof and checked it all out and did a walk about the whole house to check out cleanup. Outstanding. QC ansered any questions we asked. So far so good. Sales rep is scheduled to come by next week. It has been a great experience so far.

The weather made things a challenge but they worked out a day (it has rained on and off just about everyday for 3 weeks). Beleive it or not it was nice when they started, then tear off old, install new, clean-up, load up, pull out of driveway and within a minute we had a downpour. Good test! Thanks GUYs!

Nightmare to try to work with. Revolving door of people- no one gets back to you- and the upcharges for "extras" not included are outrageous

This list of problems is to long to list here. High end home landscape, sprinklers, lighting damaged. Trash left behind. Workers laying in the grass because they did not have enough materials, cigarette buds left behind along with their food trash. They did not do the full roof ridge until I insisted, they threw away gutter guards that where in perfect shape without asking. Told me I could buy new ones and pay them to install. I was like WHAT!? So no I would not recommend!

Dont hire they didn't show up at all called and asked why said it was denied both me an wife was here she took day off for them to look at so I called another company an they are on way out to look at it

I tried to call for an inspection (everything but my blood type was taken down) with the expectations I was to hear back with a quote. The second time I called, I was told there was no information at all about by rentals (two)and she took the information again!.but wait! "Maybe the girl who took the information was at lunch, I'll call back in about an hour".

I received no call. I again called two days later after not hearing from anyone. I got the same answer as before."I don't see anything about your rentals"."Well let me ask the other girl in the office" She then came back to tell me."We aren't servicing the area in which your rentals are located!" Seriously? They didn't know that from the beginning?

And why wasn't I given a courtesy call to let me know so I could find someone else. The only thing positive I can say is that the people who answered the phone were always polite. But they certainly need a better way of communicating their business with one another.

I had a great and easy experience with Guy Roofing. James Trueman was very professional and answered every question I had with what was about to go on replacing my roof. The workers were very courteous when I stopped by at lunch. I left and got back home around 7 pm, and you couldn't tell they had even been there except for the new roof. They cleaned everything up great.

Then I had an unexpected visit from another Guy employee the next day just to check and make sure everything was done correctly and clean. Would recommend Guy Roofing in a second...
